Saks off 5th is located in The Promenade shopping plaza. There were many sales going on at Saks off 5th. The shoe department had things mostly on sale and barely anything on the racks. Similar to the other two OFF 5th locations, you can expect the hours to start being reduced in the near future. Saks OFF 5TH has been considered "the premier destination for luxury off-price fashion". They have offered a large assortment of high-end designers and everyday favorites at great prices. Saks OFF 5th has been considered a Saks Fifth Avenue outlet store since 1995 (following the footsteps of Saks Clearinghouse which opened three years earlier). This location was one of the four Arizona locations (three in the Greater Phoenix area). Recently as a part of their bankruptcy process, Saks decided to close most of their OFF 5th locations (and Nieman Marcus Last Call stores) while continuing to function otherwise as a company. Their website (https://www.saksoff5th.com) still has some items which are all up to 70% off. Their prices are considered "liquidation pricing." Recently, the bankruptcy process has been of particular interest to those American Express Platinum card holders, as they get $50 credit for purchases at Saks Fifth Avenue stores every six months, and if they purchase physical gift cards in the store, they can get the credit back that way, and the gift cards can be used at OFF 5th locations or online. I gave them four stars as Saks OFF 5th has been a great options for saving a lot while getting a lot for American Express Platinum card holders and every one else. My wife and I have stopped by this location off and on over the last year, and we appreciate the variety of inventory all at great prices, and the staff there (though sometimes it seemed like the staffing was rather slim) were helpful. read more

Low stock at times including for the holidays which is a little surprising. Not a lot of sizes and no shoes but hopefully it will be restocked on my next visit. The shoe section and purses are usually my favorites, but you can definitely snag a great deal on clothing for the family. Good prices throughout. Great gift items and jewelry as well. Writing this for my wife. Order Order #: 126835088, done online (there's no option to choose online, so it picks the closest story). Sent the wrong size, and the only option was to return for store credit or a refund minus $9.95. This ended up being refunded half the total cost. The scam here, which isn't uncommon, is to send the wrong item with limited options, you send it back, and they sell it again. They make more money that way. She contacted customer support through email and FB messenger and received no reply. Avoid these thieves and shop elsewhere. read more

Did some shopping at Saks Off 5th and was not disappointed. The sale selection was unbeatable. I picked up a few designer pieces for such a great low price. Ive never shopped this location before and I'm impressed. The staff was super helpful, the dressing rooms were spacious and clean. I really like the styles they carry and everything fit so well. Miserable, jealous employee. "Vee" gave off jealous and insecure vibes. She was very rude to me for no reason and intentionally gave me a broken sunglasses case for a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses that costed me $180 (before tax). Small things: didn't greet me or talk to me at the register at all, responded to me in a rude tone, I figured maybe she was just in a bad mood at first but then it started to feel like she had something against me as her responses became more and more hostile during and post transaction even though I was being very nice to her and her coworkers. The whole ordeal felt like a jealous high school student. Horrible and petty interaction. During the transaction, I asked if earrings could be returned if I don't like them. Her response was, "you have 30 days with the receipt and tags". To which I said, "for store credit or cash?" She then repeated, "you have 30 days with the receipt and tags". Okaaay...?! Why all the hostility?! That didn't answer my question so I was forced to yet again ask, "would that be store credit or cash?" It got worse though: When I got home and discovered the case for my Tom Ford sunglasses was broken, I rushed back to the store to ask for a new case thinking it would be a quick, "sorry about that, here's a new one! Have a good night!". Not what happened at all. By the time I got back to the store it was 8:50pm - ten minutes to close. Her response was "GIRL, I gave you this one because it was the only Tom Ford case up front. I would have to go to the back and search for one, but GIRL, we're closed!" Ok? Why not kindly ask me to come back tomorrow since it's now apparent to me that there's not another one readily available up front?! "GIRL" ?! I'm 27 and have never been spoken to like that from a store employee, let alone at a place that's supposed to have some class such as SAKS. How childish and confrontational. I then said I can come back tomorrow so she has more time to check the back for a case that's not broken, and since she was so mad at me, I then felt obligated to let her know that I came back tonight instead of the next day because I wanted it to be apparent that I received the case broken and did not break it between now and then. To this, she suggested I either return the sunglasses or she could give me a generic black case. What happened to the previous option of checking in the back?! When I kindly stated that I can come back tomorrow, it's now not an option?! Also, her response implies she recognized it was broken when ringing up my transaction at 8:23pm - almost a whole hour before closing, yet she failed to inform me that the case was broken and offer a solution, i.e. look in the back, or offer me a case that isn't broken. (Yet another petty, rude action by a teen who's acting hateful out of spite) Since I paid $180 for a pair of sunglasses, I'd appreciate it if the employee would do her job and go check in the back for a Tom Ford case that isn't broken. Have some respect for your customers. Not to mention, she didn't give me a lens cloth for the Tods sunglasses I purchased... She was very confrontational from the get go and she lacks good customer service skills. What a miserable human being. I do not appreciate the extreme lack of respect or kindness. She needs a different job because she acts like a child. She was rude to me in every possible way that she could be. I am shocked that she works there. Hopefully management will address her foul treatment of customers. I was very kind to all 3 employees I interacted with that night. She had no reason to speak to me and treat me so poorly. I should have just ordered online. I live in Oregon where there's no sales tax, yet spent $35 for sales tax in addition to spending $321 (before tax) just to be treated like I was in high school again. Management should hire more professional staff instead of petty young girls. Save your money and your mood. Shop elsewhere. EDIT: Came back the next day. Manny helped me (super nice btw). I love the clean store and fashion they have very nice. I always find great items here at good prices.

Saks Fifth Avenue is one of my favorite stores. You can always find something here. It often takes me one or two trips to find what I need, but that's what you do at "off rack" types of stores. You can find "boutique" items here, which are the real treasures. I do wish they would have better sale prices on their high-end shoes. read more

I bought Valentino crossbody bag from Saks off 5th the first time I bought it the zipper broke and they replace it with another one, then the other bag that they replace . The zipper broke also I spend 200.00 and they will not even fixed the zipper, trying to talk to the maneger Rita and she will not listen to anything I have to say and she keep reapeting what she said.shes said that I should fixed my bag or take it to have someone fix it. I love shopping here! They have really good stuffs and their shoes and boots s are heavenly. Oh and the selectors of their designer purses are to die for at really good prices! The store is much more organized and showcases their merchandise neat and clean. I think old navy used to be in this space. Not too far from Nordstrom rack and poses a serious competition to them too. Just walk over to the 5th when visiting rack and check em out. I usually visit both. read more
