Such a sweet little place. We got the Beef Ramen, Miso Udon, and Salmon Bento. All were great, simple meals but very tasty and filling.

We stopped for dinner on weekday night and were the only customers eating there. The shop is run by a super nice couple who was very attentive. I ended up trying their Beef Hot Pot tofu stew. I think I just had more expectations that it would be more like the other tofu stews I have tried. The tofu used was firm tofu instead of silken and the broth seemed more savory, almost like a ramen broth instead of being lighter. I would consider coming back again but maybe trying another dish.

I have enjoyed eating at Sakura for many years. First, the owners are wonderful. I love seeing a couple run a restaurant all by themselves. Then, the food has been great! My favorite is the katsu chicken bento box or the bibimbap. You can't go wrong with those. I had the ramen tonight for the first time and thought it was very good. Try this out!!

Family owned, very warm and inviting. Bento and ramen is packed with flavor and the broth is among the best around. They are understaffed, so please be kind and patient but like others, we were willing to wait.

We came here for Valentine's dinner and it's really good food for a cheap prices however theres no table service, you order at the counter and then they'll bring it out later. They also don't Serve alcohol. Anyway all food was good so no complaints.

The service during lunch was extremely slow, even though the restaurant really was not that busy at the time. It felt difficult to get checked on or get simple things in a timely manner. Mentioned to two different waiters that my husband was still waiting on his Arnold Palmer and at end of the meal still never got it and we still had to remind them to remove it from our bill at the end. The biggest issue for me was the albacore sashimi that day. It did not taste very fresh, and when I politely mentioned it to the waiter, instead of acknowledging that fish can occasionally be off or nearing the end of freshness, he responded in a somewhat condescending way explaining that albacore "just tastes different" than other fish. As someone who eats sushi regularly, I understand the difference in flavor profiles between fish -- this tasted more like it may have been on its way out. Not a terrible experience overall, but definitely not one that matched the level of service or quality I was hoping for.

The restaurant is casual but has classy vibes with extras on finishes. Obviously well kept and very clean. The server was also very patient, attentive, and on top of things as we had a large group and had some late joiners after the initial group had ordered. Sushi was good but it was a pretty expensive lunch for my standards. I ordered the Foxy Lady Roll ($20) and a California Roll ($8). The Foxy Lady was a good order from the specialty rolls if you like spicy salmon and some heat with your rolls. Having tempura or some crunchy element would have set this roll up in my mind but I'm a picky Americanized sushi eater. California Roll was just a control group for me on this visit- pretty average.

The vibe is fast and loud, but the servers are super efficient and communicative. I really liked the tokidoki roll and hamachikama. Hard to go wrong with those! The hamachi kama was HUGE. They give you the entier collar! I also liked the yaki ika which was very tasty, not rubbery at all. They have a lot of ramen on the menu which was a crowd pleaser for our group. Their edamame is also very spicy and quite good -- not your typical simply salted edamame. One thing I wouldn't order - the kimchi fried rice. Drink menu featured several imported Japanese bottled beers on top of the common ones at reasonable price. Ended up getting the house salad, chicken yakitori, spicy tonkatsu ramen and yaki ika. All tasted good, no complaints. Spicy tonkatsu ramen had rich broth, chatsu was grilled and plenty. Repeat

I recommend planning ahead with a reservation, as they can get busy during a dinner rush. We were visiting Colorado for a quick weekend trip and were floored by the food here. While the rolls all sounded great, we opted for an omakase experience. It is priced at market value, so I imagine this could vary over time, but they had three tiers for omakase, which I thought were all fairly priced for the amount of food included. We opted for the highest tier, which was $120 pp, and it was incredibly filling with high quality cuts of fish and a thoughtfully curated menu. The sushi chef who took care of us was incredibly kind, and it was clear he put a lot of care into the food he prepared. If you're on the fence, hop off and make that reservation and come hungry for the omakase experience!

The sushi menu is tiny compared to any legitimate sushi spot, and the menu itself was filthy. Not "a little worn," actually dirty. First impressions matter, and this place failed immediately. There was also zero indication whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated, so customers are left awkwardly standing around wondering what's going on. To make things worse, the entrance feels bizarre and rundown, like you're sneaking into the back of a storage building instead of entering a restaurant. If you want real wasabi, go to a proper sushi restaurant. This felt more like a watered-down imitation than a real dining experience. 1/10

We were seated right away and given plenty of time to take in the restaurant's history and look through the menu. Our food came out quickly, and the staff was always nearby if we needed anything. We started with the cucumber salad and shrimp shumai. The cucumber salad was refreshing, but the shrimp shumai had a strong fishy smell and taste that didn't seem very fresh--I couldn't eat more than one. For my entrée, I ordered the nabeyaki soup with ramen noodles and chicken, and it was excellent. The soy-based broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty, and the ramen noodles were cooked perfectly--tender with just the right amount of bite. Overall, Domo offers a really special atmosphere and a memorable dining experience. That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.
