Kimchi Jjigae

We have been here about 5 times in the last month. I'm happy to have found a place that serves not only authentic Korean food but also a warming atmosphere. The portion sizes are huge! Even though you get a lot of quantity out of the dishes you order, the quality remains just as good! I have Ben getting all the different soups/stews and I have not been disappointed yet. I plan to try a lot more dishes each time we go. It's a benefit since we live around the area as well. Definitely recommend this place for your Korean fix (not just KBBQ).

I come here when I am craving gimbap and bulgogi. Authentic taste without a lot of fuss. Quick service and simple to order.

I was so happy to find out they have a closer location by Highlands Ranch! When you first enter, you have the option to order through the kiosk where you can make modifications to some of the items if you need to. I got the Hot Stone Bibimbap. It was so delicious and the portion was great! I even had some to bring home. Besides this, they also have a variety of different authentic Korean food such as kim bap which is very similar to a sushi roll. Pricing is very reasonable and there is now indoor dining!

The food was pretty good and Bop And Gogi. The atmosphere is casual and clean there and the bathrooms were very nice. The food was decent. We had the bibimpap and regular bibimpap, chicken wings, seafood soon tofu soup, and kimchi jjigae. The bibimpap was good with lots of options for sauces on the side. The chicken wings were tasty and perfectly fried. We also got a side order of eggs for our soup and they came out fried which was not what we expected so be aware your side egg comes fried and not in the soup. The kimchi jjigae was delicious and the perfect amount of spice while the soon tofu soup was just okay. Great spot for a quick lunch but if you want soup, order the kimchi jjigae and not the soon tofu.

Ordered online for pick up. Once you get email confirming your order, do wait to receive a second email that your order was confirmed by them. It does say that in the initial email. As you enter, the pickup area for online orders is a counter area to the left of the shop. I ordered the Spicy Pork plate, comes with rice, salad, beansprouts, and japchae. It was the right amount of spicy, and tasted really good. The kimchi jeon (pancake) was good also. Had some crispy parts which i loved. It does come with a sauce, but i didnt use the sauce. Had enough taste without it. The kimbap was the original, and it was tasty. All in all the food was great, and staff was nice. Sorry about the pics, started to eat before remembering to take pictures of the food.

I love hot stone bibimbap and this place really hits the spot. It's super close to me, reasonably priced, and very very good. Definitely recommend this spot as I've gone about a handful of times within the past few weeks!

First of all I'm super stoked to not have to drive an hour for good Korean food. We needed this in S metro Denver. The good:This location is super clean the food is great. Super fresh veggies, tasty and delicious. Needs work: looks like I'm not the only one missing Gochujang in my order. Same thing for chopsticks. It's nitpicking but it's not the same eating this with a fork when I get home. Bipimbop was also missing the egg. Nbd but the details add up. Get the takeout game up to par and you're off to the races.

This was a good place for trying Korean food for the first time. The atmosphere is lowkey and casual and service was quick.

Love the food here. We get the rice bowl with clay bowl and we get the tofu soup. Eat it there is so much better than Togo food.

I liked the people, the place, the menu, the location, but honestly I paid $30 for leftovers that I can't eat. It's a shame. I've never before seen anything this greasy. The owner came out to my car after I exited and asked why I didn't like it. While I respect that, he explained that what appeared as grease was instead, sauce, and that it was flash fried. The problem is that neither the sauce nor grease had taste or spice. When I placed several pieces of beef on a napkin, they saturated the napkin with oil. Maybe it's an oily sauce? They were generous with the beef. The beef quality was pretty good, and the vegetables were unique enough to merit praise. If it were me, I would ramp up the taste quotient in either the marinade or sauce, eliminate 90% of the oil, as it's unnecessary, and add spice. This could be a healthy dish if they used avocado oil, way less oil, and reduced the salt.

Shrimp Shumai: this was the first item I took out of the bag and disappointment was the first feeling I felt. I should've trusted my gut when I saw the name of the dish but the photo didn't match. I based it off the photo and what was delivered was not what was in the photo. Instead, I got these small, nickel sized diameter "dumplings" that are straight up mushy. Xiao long bao: maybe it was delivery issue, but all dumplings were broken, and the soup leaked. Aside from this, the wrapping is thick especially at the top where the twist is. The filling is also mushy but better than the shrimp Shumai. I still wouldn't get this again. Chili wontons: again, maybe a delivery issue but there wasn't a lot of chili oil since it leaked out of the bag. Aside from that, the wrapper was thick. Filling was meh. Mapo tofu: just okay but again, very hard to mess up mapo tofu in general imo. Lacks meat. Probably the best thing out of what I ordered unfortunately

The food is good and priced well but the reason for this low rating is due to their dishonesty. I thought perhaps this was a one-off situation but I read another reviewer years ago experiencing the same thing. We were planning to pay and apparently, the 20% "gratuity" was already added for our family of 5. Then the server proceeds to ask how much we would like to tip on the screen, but something didn't add up. The total amount seemed like it was way above it should be including the tip and when we requested a printed receipt, another server had to come by. It felt like the older gentlemen was trying to double-dip by telling us that the tip wasn't added but clearly there was a gratuity already there. No apology or anything. We didn't even add the gratuity and it looks like the server automatically added it to our bill without us knowing. We didn't want to have any other issues so we just left paying for the 20% gratuity and decided that we won't be going there anymore. It makes me sad since this was our solid Pho spot in Denver but I cannot support an establishment that is dishonest. It only makes me wonder how many other customers they had done this to and if anyone else has caught them. I get it, cause often times, I don't even check the bill so I would say beware if you do go here. Look at your ITEMIZED receipt and check what you ordered.
