For sushi we ordered the Sakura Roll which was my favorite, the orange dragon roll which tasted good, but I think could have used more of the orange sauce. We also ordered the sweet potato roll and spicy tuna roll. The sushi tasted so good and fresh. What I really enjoyed was seeing the interactions between local/regular customers and the staff. Why would they be serving in plastic bowls with plastic utensils? This made no sense but OK. Out came the devil roll, and it looked like sushi, except it had this weird red spam like texture stuff on the top of it. I had no clue what it was. I ate it, but it was barely edible and seeing it was 14.95 , I wasn't about to send it back. So the two waitresses kept staring at me like saying hurry up hurry up hurry, hurry hurry And all my 65+ years on this earth I never felt so rushed.. These waitresses were not friendly. As soon as I was finished it looked like the manager, came over and immediately cleaned the table. She didn't give me the best looks either. I liked the look of Hibachi Express so I decided to do a full order this time and see what's up. I can honestly say, best hibachi style food I have had EVER!! I started with the Wonton Soup. The broth is delicate and savory. I wish there was a bit more filling in the wontons but still a very strong solid start. If this was the entry, I can't wait for the spicy miso. The golden fingers are finally ones I enjoy. The outside was not too crispy but I was getting take out so that is expected. I'm sure they were crispy coming out of the oil. Beautiful cooked tender chicken and a perfect batter to meat ration. Next I had the Bento BBQ chicken. Wow!! Amazing flavor. It is an Asian lite BBQ taste and not sticky sweet. Finally, a place that gets the texture right. The chicken is very tender and flavorful and actually has a mouth feel like chicken. Some places mistake tender for mush, not here. My mom ordered the house chow mein fun. The vermicelli was soft, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Plenty of meat inside as well. The chef nailed the balance between cooked noodles but not wet noodles. Amazing dish!! She also ordered a side of hibachi chicken. Again, perfect flavor, tender and great portion. We also grabbed an Atlanta roll. I'm not a cream cheese fan in sushi but this worked. I will gladly try their other offerings next time. The location is very clean and mom and son offer great service. You can order on-line if that is your preference. I will be back and Hibachi Express is my new go-to. I'm very glad I found this restaurant. I would gladly advise even the pickiest person to eat here.

There were 8 of us. The place was nice: clean, well lit, not too loud (for a performance based cooking experience). Not super high end, but the entire experience reflected that. We got seated right away (we had reservations). Drinks arrived quickly (BTW: large tropical cocktails were very inexpensive, IIRC between $6 and $10) and we all ordered from the hibachi menu. The chef put on a great performance and we were all enjoying it. Dinners were ready quickly (another BTW: a combo steak & shrimp meal was only $28 (Dec 2025). ALL 8 of us had enough for our lunches the next day. I don't remember if they have dessert on the menu but none of us had room. I often rate a restaurant on the cleanliness of their restrooms and the men's room looked like it was cleaned and maintained multiple times a day. They are in a small strip mall and have plenty of parking in front and back. I can't comment on their sushi menu; I didn't order from it.

She is very passionate about the menu and is very attentive to everyone. Thankfully, as our food was served she was there to explain that the best way to experience the chef's creation is to eat it as it presented (without soy sauce) first. She went on to explain that each dish is created with specific textures and flavors in mind to create an intentional balanced bite. She is absolutely correct and I am so glad we listened. In fact, after trying the "second" bite with soy sauce, we recognized that it was much better without it. The soy sauce is homemade and delicious but the sushi is so perfectly executed, it really does not need anything at all to shine. This is not your average sushi joint. The food and service will blow you away. Get the Princess Peach Roll if it's available. The Tiger Roll and the Flame Touch were also fantastic.
