We started with the pork gyoza, which were fried perfectly. For entrees, we had the shrimp fried rice which came with miso soup and salad. They gave us a large portion of everything and it was so tasty! For sushi, we had the crazy dragon roll and a shrimp tempura roll wrapped in cucumber. Both were so delicious! The last hibachi I had been to was no good at all so when my friend suggested a double date, I was reluctant. No regrets at all. The hibachi was in a good sized room with other tables in the open. The menu has tons to choose from, including a large array of sushi. I choose the chicken & shrimp combo. The service was pretty good---funny. The food was super tasty and full of flavor. I went here today with an out of town co-worker. I've never been here before and usually don't frequent the Collingswood area, to be honest. But he wanted Sushi and this was one of the closest places that I located on Yelp. The ladies at the front aren't that friendly when you come in, but the server was fine and attentive. I had Miso soup, which was good, and also Spicy Crab Roll and the Spider Roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'd come here for lunch or early dinner only. We way over ordered and tried lots of yummy things. We started with edamame while we studied the menu. It was perfectly cooked and salted. Of all the appetizers and mains, the sushi sandwich was a favorite of mine and I'd get it again! I can't recommend that dish enough! We also got the Kano salad (surprisingly good), a California roll (good) and wasabi Shu mai (good) as appetizers. For our main, we had salad (v good) miso soup (v good but not hot (temperature) enough), a couple of bento boxes, the Collingswood roll with brown rice (v good), and salmon sashimi (good). For dessert we split an order of mango mochi ice cream. It had two of them, each cut in half, and a few dollops of whip cream and some sprinkles. Delicious. Service was incredible. Came here for lunch while visiting a friend in the area. For those who do not know the area. It is located on a Haddon ave with tons of cute shops and restaurants. There is street parking available but during prime times and evenings, you can find plenty of metered public parking on north Atlantic located in back of the restaurant. There are tons of sushi options available and cooked options for those who preferred cooked sushi rolls. If you're a tad bit indecisive like me yarn you can't go wrong with sampling a little bit of this and that. Also, gotta love a place that is byob. I continue to get chirashi bowls to compare different sushi places. It's my standard to assess the quality of fish. I like the different presentation of this bowl! Usually the fish is on top of the rice, in a bowl but this allowed them to more aesthetically plate the fish. The quality of fish was decent. Went here on Saturday with my wife and son. Decided on the hibachi grill so as we entered the front of the restaurant they led us to the back where there was four grills which each could sit a dozen people. We arrived at around 5 so there wasn't much of a crowd as we were only the second group there. The menu had sushi and a pick and choose three hibachi option for $47 and a land a sea for only three dollars more. This include shrimp, lobster, chicken and filet mignon, we opted for that. I also ordered an appetizer option of calamari. The chef was up to par with other similar restaurants and they seem to have a few of these chefs who come out with their tray of food prep. The portions were plentiful as we shared our portion of two with our son and still had leftovers. My wife ordered the green tea fried ice cream for desert. It was okay. I've heard great things about Osaka so I've been really excited to try their sushi! I finally had a chance this weekend and it was delicious. I'm gluten free and I called ahead for pickup. I had a list of sushi prepared that I was going to ask if they could do gluten free, but luckily for me, I didn't even have to go down my list because they were able to make my top two choices GF! I got the summer roll and the treasure island roll. They also gave me GF soy sauce! I definitely recommend and look forward to trying more of their menu! Hibachi!!!! We went for a birthday dinner. Had a 5pm reservation for 4. Upon arrival we were taken back within 2 minutes. Staff was so nice. (I was even able to tell them secretly it was my husband's bday) We've been here many times in the past, but prior to Covid. After we were seated, the waiter took our drink order and quickly brought those out. Then he took our food order. Soup and salad is included in Hibachi menu. The soup is a clear soup with mushrooms. And salad has a ginger dressing. Both very tasty. Then for the Hibachi Chef. He wasn't as entertaining as the ones in the past, but non the less he was good. Food flinging and sake squirting- just not as much as in past. Next part of the meal was the fried rice, then the protein. Protein could be steak, chicken, filet Mignon, shrimp, scallops any combo you wanted! I chose chicken and shrimp. They were both to perfection! Then last mixed veggies and the onion tower. That was hot see pic. I lived in the moment so didn't take many photos. At the end since it was a birthday dinner and I told them prior they do a special thing. They bring out a fruit boat dim the lights and blast Happy Birthday through a speaker with a sparkling candle. It's great for those who embarrass easily. Lol. Overall this is a great birthday dinner spot. The table can accommodate 8 people then on the other side another Hibachi station with 8-9 guests. So you can have a good size party. read more

This is my second visit. My first did not go well. This visit worst! We ordered a few things. A salmon roll had mushy, old salmon. The seaweed salad also tasted old and stale. My company's sea bass Hibachi was ok. Not worth the price. The beef negimaki was good. My Sashimi bento box was not good. The shrimp tempura was ok. The sashimi was awful.
