There is something inherently wrong at this location. Twice I have reserved a car for pickup only to be informed they had no available rentals. This past week I had to pay for an Uber to return home. I'm not sure if the employees are overworked and over promise the availability of rentals ? Or if they are glib about serving the public? After reading reviews, I cannot believe Enterprise still employs Jeffrey. I unfortunately did not read the reviews before signing contracts with this location and I wish I would have because I would have rented from another location I can actually trust. I did however read the contract which has no clause about absolutely no pets in the car. Upon returning the car, Jeffrey did the basic inspection of the car and saw some sort of animal hair on the removable rugs on the floor, he then had a frustrated look on his face, breathes hard at me and begins to say "I'm not going to charge you this time, but there are no pets allowed in the car and there's pet hair on the rugs. Since it's not on the seats and only the rugs, I won't charge you this time." And while I appreciate him not charging me for something I did not purposely do, I would've appreciated the respect to not be LIED to nor talked down to like his child. I would've also appreciated the respect of letting me know this before we drove away with the rental because I am a respectful person, I would have cleaned the car extra well to ensure I would not have to pay for something I did not do. I had no pets in the car, however I cannot do much other than clean my shoes off everytime we get in the car to avoid transferring dirt and hair. Again, I appreciate not getting charged for something I did not purposely do, but I absolutely do not appreciate being reprimanded and lied to about contractual facts. When we first got the car and were doing inspection, he told us 10 times "Do not smoke in the car. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE CAR. So don't smoke in the car..." he could've at least used some of that time to also warn us about other possible fees. read more

Today, my family and I returned to this location to rent a car for Thanksgiving Weekend. My previous experience at this location was exceptional earlier this year and I wish I had submitted a review. Loads of errands and such made renting a car necessary. Upon our arrival, the facility was clean and presentable. Our service attendants (Cole and Nick) took very good care of us. Both were extremely personable and conscientious, and helped us pick the perfect vehicle. Goldilocks would agree that "it's juuussst right!" Absolutely horrendous customer service at this location. Jeffrey was unbelievably dismissive, rude, and dishonest. I called about getting a ride home and he said they couldn't do it because my home was too far (2.5 miles), then when I got to the location, I asked for a ride to a closer location that was within their radius and now suddenly the issue was that they don't do rides at all on Saturdays and he told me that I need to call an Uber. He seemingly went back to ask the manager, Jairo, before telling me this BS, so I would assume this is just how poorly this location is run. Jeffrey had previously chastised me for not parking the car in the place that he wanted when I pulled up. Like sorry! I didn't know and no one told me where specifically to park. He then lied to me about "waiving" my one way fee, when there are no one way fees on insurance rentals. All of this with a horribly dismissive and rude attitude. You'd think that a company that is as "customer service focused" as Enterprise claims to be would have weeded out horrible people like this. read more

I was given over the top customer service at this establishment and it is highly recommended you give them a try as well. I came here with little expectation due to a very unpleasant experience at another branch (1325 W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena, CA 90247) beforehand, feeling greatly disappointed with Enterprise. However, thanks to the friendly service of Eduardo Paredes, I pleasantly rented a car and regained faith in Enterprise. And the vehicle was very well-maintained, clean, and there was no smell of smoke at all. Getting ripped off by Enterprise Rent a Car. I was told by Nationwide insurance that they have to inform you that if you have full coverage on your policy you do not need to buy their coverage. I was told that if something happened to their vehicle I would immediately have to pay out of pocket. I told them Nationwide said they have to inform me that if I have full coverage I don't need their insurance. The head manager said they offer it as an add on they don't demand you get it. I said I was not informed about not needing it if I had full coverage plus I was lied to about paying out. I would not owe you anything. My insurance would handle it. Because of the misinformation and the fact I was not told I don't need it as I have full coverage I want a refund of my $500 + you charged me for insurance I didn't need. They said no. They claimed I needed to know that and it's not their responsibility to inform me that I don't need their coverage. Avoid these scammers !!!! read more

I've been to hundreds of Enterprise locations.. this one is by far the worst enterprise on the face of the Earth, the Torrance one rented me a car with no issue in under ten minutes. Prior to that these guys had me ubering back and forth 3 days straight from their location for their own personal amusement since they have no power outside of this janky enterprise store, they need to flex the little power they have over customers who are renting cars from them by making up their own fake policies and rules that do not exist in the company. Very rude and unprofessional, bad management as well who is a poor leader that is letting the inmates over there run the asylum. The women working there are worse than the ones you'd find on a street corner on skid row. Completely ratchet, no class. read more

Ok so I called this office directly because I live nearby and used them before but a couple years ago without any problems. However, today I call and she transfers me to the national hotline because she said she could not assist me with that. So I speak to the call center rep and he has never heard of this location. Enterprise website lists it both in Carson and Compton. Yelp says Gardena.....smh.... So he finally finds it, books my reservation for a compact car, never offers me a pick up ride to location...i try to pay but was told to do so at location when I get there. I call store location for a ride....they do not have compact cars and must charge me 10 extra per day for intermediate or I can take an Uber to a different location to see if they have compact. Really???? So the call center books me res2 that you won't honor and I gotta get an Uber.... So I ask for a manager.....he is more willing to work with me.....im waiting on my pick up now. He answered my questions and seemed genuinely concerned with my satisfaction. 4 stars instead of 5 because of Enterprises vehicle selection. I would have preferred a Toyota Sienna. This place doesn't even deserve a single star. I reserved a premium SUV for a family trip a week in advance and they didn't even bother to search during that time. They began their search on the day of the SUV pick up. They called me asking if I had a Major Bank credit card, their concern was more for how I was going to pay them before even searching for the SUV I needed. The kid that didn't even try to assist me goes by the name of Luigi and these were the exact words that he told me, " I have other things to do ". In other words he doesn't have time to help his customers or anyone. This is a bad business and this kid really needs to work on his customer service skills. I was very lucky to find a 2022 Chevy Suburban with an LAX rental Company which were much more helpful/ professional and they gave me the keys to the Suburban in less than 10min! I will admit my 1st experience with this Enterprise was not the best. The employees were great but the experience sucked. I won't go into that visit because it wasn't bad enough for me not to return or not recommend them. I totally love the convenience of the office. I had a late pick up so I was expecting to get in and out. I noticed as I was entering the parking lot that I didn't see the vehicle I reserved but I brushed it off and went in ayway. We started the rental process and I realized I left my debit card at home. Not only did they take me to get it but they waited while I snatched a utility bill also and back we went. When paperwork is completed, we walk out to the car and pass what I thought was my vehicle. We get to an SUV that was larger than what I had reserved. Apparently what I requested was not available and I was upgraded to the larger vehicle automatically. When I returned the truck six days later, they even honored a certificate for a free half tank of gas that I had received from my first visit for unsatisfactory service, that was 8 months ago. So I usually like going to the enterprise by the airport but I ended up choosing this location because it was close to my school. This location is so unprofessional!! First off you have employees' phones going off making duck nosies. I guess that job is pretty chill to be laughing and texting before attending to the customer. Made reservations, THEY called me to confirm then offered me several cars to choose from over the phone. Ended up getting the Elantra, get there they didn't have it. Only thing is, they didn't tell me that. They wanted to give me a pick up truck instead && I literally had to ask if she was just joking lol. They upgraded me to a Jeep, had to wait for them to wash it then they came out having me sign stuff they never went over. Make sure yall read it first because there was a whole bunch of charges that I didn't agree to. The employee caught himself getting an attitude probably because I noticed it && called them out on it lol. To have a reservation and still have to wait extra time while other people are getting their car is ridiculous. If you want your time wasted come here, otherwise go to the LAX location where they actually know what quality customer service is read more

I arrive at the local branch at 9:30am to return my vehicle. I was assisted within 5 minutes, not a problem. Customer reps were friendly enough and engaging. @ 10:00am I have an appointment which is 1.8 miles from the Enterprise branch. I request to the branch manager for a ride from "The Company that picks you up". From previous experience drop off pick up is within 2.5 miles. The branch manager hands me back the rental keys and tells me that I have to return the car to a different branch, as my location is "not in our zip code", Rude. Now 9:45am I decide to walk out and walk the 1.8 miles in 90 degree weather, with slacks and a button up shirt, and work shoes, arriving to my appointment 30 minutes late, extremely flustered, sweaty and apologetic. I rely on the "the company that picks you up" motto. Enterprise, and this branch manager in particular, you dropped the ball this time, not satisfied. read more
