Tried Original ChopShop in the South Main District for the first time and had a great experience. The space is bright, modern, and has a chill vibe that would be perfect for lunch with friends. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken + Hummus with pita chips. The hummus was good, but the chips weren't really my favorite. I also tried the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl through Uber Eats and it was amazing! I'm already thinking that'll be my go-to order next time I visit.

    Undercooked bacon

Visiting from out of town and did not enjoy. Food is very pricy for what you get. Left hungry and unsatisfied. Pretty audacious to ask for a tip when you order off a screen and clear your food yourself. Limited selection of drinks and condiments. I ordered the "cheat day wrap" and the bacon was undercooked + rice was a weird texture. Disappointing and we won't be returning.

My late grandmother was a superb country cook and her name was Maggie. Good omen! We got there about 11:45 and got a table right away. Our server was Devin and she was terrific. We split the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The portion that they brought out was gigantic....plenty for two average appetites. What I really liked about it was - it was not over-breaded and it was fork-tender. (in my humble opinion, too many places are giving you a lot more breading that doesn't have meat under it. Yes, it's a first-world problem.) The mashed potatoes were also quite good, along with the cream gravy. I'm not a huge green bean fan, but my wife really liked them. This place has a cool vibe and we plan to return sometime soon. It's one of the top 3 CFS's we've had in Fort Worth / mid-cities.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso. We ate maybe a quarter of it and decided we needed to leave before things got worse. Six hours later, we received an unannounced encore performance in the bathroom. I would avoid this place like a plague outbreak--unless you have an upcoming colonoscopy and want to skip the bowel prep.

Based on some reviews, I heard the line to order can get pretty long and I'm glad I did, because the place was packed. My order was ready at the pickup time and was well packed. There is some searing inside, but you would need to get there early to grab a table. My sister and decided to split 2 wraps so we could try more items from the menu. We ordered the mexcrunch wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap. I like how the salads can be made into wraps, which provides more options. I think we both preferred the mexcrunch, simply due to the crunchy texture. I think both wraps would have been better if we could've had the sauce on the side, because the wraps got soggy pretty quickly. The side pasta salad was surprisingly really good, and I see why they serve it. Overall, I'd definitely go back here for a healthy lunch option.

Pineapple lemonade mixed with regular lemonade. 10/10... it was good but I added water to it because it was too sweet. Sweetness is a preference and I am not really a sweets person. Coco shrimp: 8/10 the only reason why this is 7/10 is because we have all had coconut shrimp. Spicy shrimp: 10/10.. out of the bunch this was my favorite. Perfectly sauced, perfectly seasoned and enjoyably spicy. It is not fried A must try. Sweet & spicy shrimp: 10/10.. this was good too. This shrimp is fried and sauced. Perfect crunch, taste, and texture. P.S.. had the best rice of my life. They put the butter garlic sauce in it, the same sauce you can get for the shrimp and I wish I would have got it.. because if it tastes like the rice....... Mmmmaaaannnnn.. I wanted to go back for seconds on the shrimp and on the rice.
