Horrible rude service & crappy corporate response. February 8th incident. The corporate office never called me only a thank you for your feedback and we'll look into it. Well I'll take my money elsewhere & no intention to go to any other Salad & Go. My complaint to their corporate office below: I was going to do an order. Person came on speaker what's the name on the order? I state I need to place an order. "Uh what do you want?" Excuse me I state. In a very snotty tone "What can I get for you?" I've done retail and the tone behavior bad. I go to window young African Ameriican worker comes over from the walk up window to the drive thru window, I ask for the manager. The worker states one moment I'll check. I hear them asking then this worker comes up saying she's the manager and nobody knew. So, a young girl comes up saying I'm a manager ok so if you are the manager summer why did I hear the young lady ask you for the manager? Then change the story and say I'm a shift lead. Not sure but that voice sounds same for Summer if that is her name. I asked what was the name of the person who was on the speaker and your GM's name plus contact information. "I'm not giving you her name and she sounded fine to me." Based on your behavior, I'm sure she sounded fine being your customer service is as bad as hers. I'm contacting your corporate office. I placed my first order for Salad and Go today after downloading their app. The app installed easily on my phone and was easy to use. I ordered their Autumn salad with Thai dressing (I really wanted to replace the Balsamic which comes with it, but didn't see how. I'll look more next time). After ordering I drove to the restaurant. I told them I ordered with the app, they asked me my name and then repeated my order back to me. The whole ordering and pick up experience was smooth and easy. The salad itself was delicious! My wife and I plan to start coming here, instead of Chick-fil-a when we want a salad. All in all, a great experience. read more

1 hr in the drive-thru, probably 15-20 cars wrapped around at all times. Cars even blocking the parking lot entrance to Indian School. Drive-thru got so long people started parking and walking to window, only to find another line. Make no mistake, it didn't take 1 hr due to so many customers. There was a clear 2-3 car gap between the order speaker and the driver through window. The line started at the speaker and went all the way back. That means you guys weren't taking the orders fast enough and handing them off to customers fast enough at the window. Finally made it to the speaker to order, I was asked to wait, which took another 5-7 mins. Asked a question about a menu items, which the employee did not know. So I skipped and ordered as quickly as possible as I felt bad for those behind me. The food is delicious, no complaints there. My question is, were you guys adequately staffed this morning? You have had long lines before but we fly through. No apology at the window for the wait, and I wasn't even handed a receipt with my food. Probably because there's a survey link at the bottom? I could have went to a grocery store, bought veggies, came home, and made my own salad for the amount of time this order took. Had your drive through been designed so cars can change their mind and drive off, I would have. Anyway, staff properly. Apologize to customers for the wait when they, it goes a long way. This SaG location can be easily missed; for me as I turned right I did not initially see it tucked away but GPS did not steer me wrong. It shares the lot with the laundromat. When it gets busy the line will wrap around the building with just enough room to get by. As much as I love SaG's menu, sometimes it's nice to try something new! I decided to try the new Brussels Caesar salad with chicken ($5.74). At first I wasn't sure the Brussels, golden raisins, Parmesan crisps, and balsamic onions were going to work- that's a lot of different textures and tastes! But trust me- it works! Not only does it work, it's delicious!! The balsamic onions and golden raisins added some nice sweetness to the robust taste of the roasted Brussel sprouts. My only minor gripe would be that the brussels weren't even in size- they were either small or very hearty. Try the new Brussels Sprouts caesar while you can- it's my new favorite!! read more

It has gotten even worse! I stopped going here altogether a long time ago, instead meal-prepping my breakfast (which saves time and money, tastes better). Though, on those unfortunate mornings when I am running late for work, I would still go to this location. On FOUR occasions they have L I T E R A L L Y not had food. Let that sink in, fellow consumer. THIS IS A RESTAURANT THAT RARELY HAS FOOD. Like, no salads, no burritos, no sides. Not a morsel of food. In fact, the derelict, terrifying homeless person (read: horrible ambiance) staring at people in the drive-thru line had more food in her hand than this "food" establishment. The service is still unsatisfactory. The line rarely takes less than 15 minutes. One WEEKEND, I was in the drive-thru line for 28 minutes. Staff barely apologized for the situation. There's just no care there at all. When I was refunded they refunded the wrong amount. I really love this place! I've have eaten it everyday for almost 2 weeks before. It's well priced for what you get and very quick! The service is always good also but the last couple visits have not been the best, they have been completely messing up my order and did it 3 times in a row. This last time, I asked for no bacon bits because I do not eat pork and extra cheese and the gave me bacon bites and no cheese. I can honestly say, for a hungry pregnant woman heading to a meeting, I was a bit disappointed and actually cried because I couldn't eat (blame the hormones). The time before the last, I asked if I could pay for the car behind me because I may have cut her off accidentally but wasn't sure (the locations for salad n go are so inconvenient) but the cashier said no, I was confused. Whenever I ask for extra cheese they charge me for it but do not give it to me. Overall, the food is good and the service is also. You just have to be very specific about what you want, know the time to go and possibly get out and order at the window so you don't feel rushed. But with the few bad times, I will still give them a chance because I can only imagine the lunch time pressure and it's so close to my job and better than alternatives. They were awful to me. First of all the girl that took my order said she would have to charge me extra for oil & vinegar. I told her you didn't charge me last time and I'm a new customer. She said okay, I won't charge you and I thanked her. When I got up to the window at 3pm the cashier said it would be $8 and I said but the salads are on $6.42 she said the oil & vinegar are extra. This location has recently gone downhill. I typically order lunch for my staff and it's picked up by someone and brought to our facility as were all in the medical field and my staff frequently doesn't get breaks it's SO frustrating for an online order to be delivered for salads and there NEVER ANY SALAD DRESSING! I don't understand how it's always always on the ticket and yet it's never supplied. The only person who gets any sort of sauce is the individual that gets salsa with his breakfast burrito. Its really ridiculous that a place serving salads won't provide dressing. There is typically always a line to just pick up the online order because there never ready. I eventually had to stop going and send another employee but it's just gotten outta hand. I frequently order a Thai wrap with no protein and no red peppers adding red onions and i have an allergy to the red peppers as to why i remove them. THEY ALWAYS PUT THEM INSIDE. I eat at salad and go two or three times a week. Today though I went to the 7th Ave and Indian School location. I've now been in the drive thru line (locked in a cars behind me) for over 20 minutes and am maybe halfway to the window. Other reviews show this is a common problem at this location. Go to the Bethany location instead or if there are more than five cars in line at this spot, just keep driving. It's weird cause the Bethany location gets super busy too, like cars in the street busy, but I've never had to wait even a fraction of this amount of time. read more

Where else can you get a fresh tasty salad (or wrap or whatever else) insanely fast for a reasonable price? Not many places. I love their Cobb. It's huge and enough for my husband and me to share. I also am partial to getting the protein snack box. Everything here is excellent and always correct even if you ask for a modification. This is by far the most incompetent group of restaurant employees that I've ever seen in my life. On October 3rd, ordered a salad with special modifications (no blue cheese). When I arrived to my destination, I noticed there was tons of blue cheese in my salad. I found the receipt to call the restaurant, and there was NO phone number available. Per customer service, "Our teams don't have direct phone lines to allow our teams to focus on service..." Personally, I'm not sure what service they're focused on, because 8 times out of 10 they mess up the order, in addition, they are very rude to customers. So, exactly what service are they focused on? I had to get online to contact customer service, and Krysta R. responded, requiring that I give details of the order before giving me a credit or moving forward. She assured me that "All feedback is taken very seriously and every complaint we receive is documented and followed up on with the team working." Not even 2 weeks later, here we are again with the same problem. Smh. I went back today, giving them another chance and I was shorted again. We're all human, but to consistently AND carelessly make the same mistakes is unprofessional for a business. And this location consistently misses the mark. How can you mess up something as simple as a salad? Not only that, I was charged extra for salad dressing. Gave me the wrong order, but made sure they charged me extra $. I love salad and go and used to have lunch from there about 3 to 4 times a week but I moved and was so upset that they weren't nearby anymore. I just noticed this location near my house a couple of weeks ago and finally decided to go there and get one of the amazing salads I've been missing. When I got there I saw two employees standing outside the back door on the phone. The car in front of me pulled up to the ordering area and waited for about 10 minutes before they were helped, the cars were lining up behind me and honking. Nobody was being helped I guess? I brushed it off because we never know what's really going on. Ordered and got my salad and came home to eat it and a lot of my lettuce is brown. My avocado is completely whole (not cute up at all) and also brown. I know avocados easily brown so I tasted it anyways, it is disgusting. The tortilla strips are also very stale. Apparently this location isn't big on quality of food or customer service. Bummer. I'll have to make the drive to other locations because I still love salad and go. read more

I like Salad and Go. My favorite is the one on 44th and Oak Street, Phoenix, but I m appalled, disappointed with the awfully-stingy half size being served at the 7th Ave and Indian School location. It seems that the staff there are cutting off the salad to sell it on the side for their own profit. For the 4th time, this particular branch has served me the most pitiful portion.
