Update: thank you Kim for reaching back to me. But I've actually witnessed a older lady on a bike in drive thru order a meal, pay for it and retrieve it. I was turned around at the drive thru for having a Uhual truck parked in the parking lot and not driving a car. The lady in the drive thru watched me the whole time and did not say anything until I get to the window. She sent me to the next window and when I got to the next window the lady said you can't just order here you have to download the app. Mind you it's 100 degrees. I don't appreciate that at all. They have to do a better job with communicating those things to customers. It was my last day in Arizona so I just wanted to enjoy my last favorite meal at one of my favorite places. read more

Ordered on the app prior. Usually it takes longer so I waited an extra 5 minutes to pick up after said pick up time. I got my order 10 mins after that, so 15 minutes after. Would have had quicker service if I just went through the drive through and waited in line. Not sure why I keep giving my business. Annoying. Edited: just got home with the salads. My salad has avocado remanence all over. I have an allergy to avocado. Now, I can not eat the salad that took forever to make. Kind of comical. read more

I love that this is a healthy, affordable "fast" food option in the area. My two issues are the wait times and that my order always looks different. I went last Friday and was in line for 40 minutes. I don't know if it's staffing or what but 40 minutes is just insane. The line was not even that long but once you're in your stuck. No matter how many cars I would say I am usually in line for 15-20 minutes. It's never very fast. Also the salads seem to always be made differently. The last couple times I didn't have the usual amount of toppings I have grown accustom too. I've had other locations that have been amazing, this one is hit or miss. If they fix the wait times and quality control this will be a 5 star lunch option in tukee. read more

Love salad and go but this is hands down the worst location in Arizona. Takes roughly 20-30 mins to get your order here at the drive through. Last few times I've come I've waited over 20 minutes with 3-4 cars in front of me. There's no explanation for why it takes 5 mins per car when you're not cooking anything. When it takes all that time, there's even less reason the order should be missing anything. Can't beat the price and portion. I just don't like that everytime I order at the window they get my a substitutions wrong. I really don't like the way their chicken tastes, so I ask to sub for avocado...but they still give me chicken. It has happened 3 times in a row. I don't really know how to start this, so I'll start with some context. I used to get Salad and Go seriously three times a day. I would go at the beginning of my day and pick up a breakfast burrito, a cold brew, and a salad for my lunch later that day. I would grab some more on my way home at the end of the day for a little afternoon snack. It was my go-to. On one particularly unfortunate afternoon, I opened up my salad (a kid's salad that day) and began to eat. Once I was about halfway through the salad, I found a ladybug. In my salad. Fast and Fresh. BBQ ranch salad with chicken is yummy. I've never had any issues with small salads or long wait times.

I've been going here for over a year now. They've gotten my order right once. What is the point in paying extra for greens and avocados when it looks just the same without it? I get the point is to be quick but what about the accuracy? I can sympathize with a short staff but I wouldn't care about the wait if my order was correct. Another time I ordered my pico de gallo and tortilla strips in the bag and they weren't even in the bag. I had a time crunch because of work so I didn't have time to look in the bag or go back to the location. I am now more cautious than ever to go back and spend money for something I may not receive. I've had the chicken Caesar salad, Buffalo chicken salad and Santa Fe salad and they're all amazing!! The dressings are also delicious....not the cheap grocery store dressings that come out of the bottle, but fresh and high quality! My friends that live by this location kept saying they hated Salad and Go. I was shocked because every time I have gone to a location elsewhere, it has been quick, pleasant and enjoyable. I started going to this location by their place instead, and now I understand what they meant. I have been 3 times now and every single time has been worse than before. Each time, they have forgotten half of my order. Then re-charge me and then again forget to give me another part of my order. The girl who takes the orders over the intercom is so incredibly impatient and rude. The people they have at the window, don't know what's going on half the time, then get irritated when you request they fulfill your order. This location needs some serious training read more

Not impressed with this location at all. We typically go to the location closer to our house, but this one was on our way home. Won't make that mistake again! Our salads didn't even resemble what we ordered. Unfortunately we got all the way home before we realized it most likely wasn't our order. The guy inside looked at the salads and said nothing. The Salad and Go off Ray Rd in Ahwatukee has gone way down. They are always out of ingredients. They did not make the salad the way I wanted and charged me for a little spoonful of Avocado when they were out of feta that goes on my salad. I get home and the extra dressing I paid for want in the bag. They piled this thing with so much lettuce, I have to pick through it just to get other ingredients. My wife and I love salad and go. We have really appreciated the heathy fast food to go, a category truly underserved. The only thing keeping me from giving a five star review is the fact that they get my order wrong nearly every time. I am usually shorted some of my additional premium ingredients, this time they left off all the bacon! I would not normally use a review to raise these issues, but i haven't found an easier way to contact salad and go. I hope someone with oversight reads this. You need to train for a lot more attention to detail, and probably adjust some systems. A problem this common is almost always a systemic issue, not a people issue. read more

I would like to start off by saying I have been to this location before and had a perfectly find experience but this 1 experience has made it so I will never go back to the location again. I placed an order on my mobile device and it was scheduled to be ready at 1256pm. I arrived at the window right after another customer and gave my name at 1258pm. At that point the staff taking names seemed to acknowledge that my order was there. I was told it would a few minutes and so was the customer ahead of me. Another customer arrived a few minutes later and was told the same thing. I waited, in very limited shade, in 106 degree Phoenix temperatures for 10 minutes with no further acknowledgment from the staff. Finally the customer in front of me received his food at which point I was asked again for my name and this time the staff asked "could that be under any other name?" I said no that is the name it would be under and I received no acknowledgement as far as whether they had my order or not. Finally, now having waited 13 minutes, the customer behind me got fed up and demanded a refund and I asked if they had my order at which point I was told yes and 2 minutes later I was handed my food. It is unacceptable to make people wait 17 minutes past their pick up time standing in the Phoenix heat with no follow up. After all that I interacted with 3 staff member's and never once received an apology or reason for the delay. read more

I got charged for avocado instead of protein and got 1 slice of avocado and chicken when that's not what I asked nor what I wanted. Honestly I love Salad and Go, my normal order is southwest burrito easy on the eggs and a cobb salad with no onion, no egg, with croutons and an Arnold Palmer. I have salad and go maybe once a week, but lately, the lemonade taste like kool-aid, which isn't the usual. The burritos are getting sloppy and the last time I got an Arnold Palmer, it seriously smelled like wet-dog. It was DISGUSTING! I've been having bad luck with fast food lately, so I figured I would try a healthier option, like Salad-n-Go. I give them three stars for moving the drive-thru along fairly quickly, the problem is, out of my three salads ordered, two had green onions, which I stated "no green onions on the app," due to an alergy, intead of blue cheese dressing, we recieved ranch on two Cob salads. Missing the extra tomatoe and black olives we paid for. This location can be a "hit-n-miss" at times. One salad had to be tossed due to the onions, not driving 6 miles back to get another one. My advice to the team would be, go slow and carefully read the customer's order. Usually the salads are pretty good here. read more
