I've NEVERRR felt so UNWELCOME at a restaurant in my life. RACISM_Still exists!!!!!!!!!!!! I stopped by this Jersey Mike's Subs location in Chandler to sit on the outdoor patio and charge my phone. I hadn't even gone inside or spoken to anyone. While sitting there, I noticed several of the young employees inside staring at me, talking among themselves, WHITE GIRLS ..... and repeatedly looking in my direction while on the phone. Shortly after, I realized they had locked the restaurant doors even though it wasn't closing time and were letting customers in one by one. I ended up leaving after my phone charged. When I returned the next day, a manager told me I "probably shouldn't come at night because the girls were scared." Scared of what? I was doing nothing but sitting outside. It's hard not to feel like I was treated differently because I'm BLACK!!!!! Locking doors and potentially calling the police on someone who is simply sitting outside charging their phone is unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to people of color if this is how customers are perceived and handled. Management told me they had no reason to call police but I shouldn't come back to restaurant. Racism still exists read more

Ever since I tried another Jersey Mike's and had the Parmesan rosemary bread, I've been craving it off and on. The tuna sub is my go to, though this location had chunks of celery in the mix that was off putting. Usually it is more diced and I don't mind. I ended up not eating all of it as the texture of celery isn't something I enjoy. I ordered via ubereats while at work, but usually the service in these locations is very friendly and a clean store if you decide to dine in. read more

Pretty good service each time we've ordered veggie subs from here. Occasionally the order will be off (they will add peppers when we requested none or they will miss a bag of chips) but they always correct if you bring to their attn. The sandwiches always taste fresh and are very filling. It's extremely busy during the lunch hour so prime time is after 2! read more

I visit the Jersey Mike's on Chandler Blvd in Ahwatukee a couple of times a week, and I have to say that Ashton, the manager, is absolutely outstanding. Every time I come in, he greets customers with a big smile and a positive attitude that really stands out. His customer service is consistently top-notch, and you can tell he truly cares about both the customers and his team. It's always a great experience coming in when Ashton is there--he makes the store feel welcoming and well-run. He suggested a secret menu sub which was fantastic with fresh roast beef pepperoni and if you are a guy like me that grew up in the 80s the "Where's the Beef" did not apply...that sub was LOADED with delicious meat on a yummy, fresh parmigian roll Mike's Way! Service was awful. We waited 25 minutes in line and the employees acted like they didn't know what they were doing. That mixed with a lack of urgency and no one managing was just awful. I love this Jersey Mike's location and it's my to go to lunch spot during the week. I completely understand that during the lunch rush things get crazy but with that in mind, the place can be a little cleaner. The trash is always full, drink station is messy and tables are never wiped down. The staff is great but there are couple of them that could work on their attitude and customer service a bit. Also work on the cleanliness of their appearance. After all, they do work with food. Seeing messy hair hanging on their face where it could fall into the food is not pleasing. read more

It must just be me...I promise. My last review provided feedback on checking the accuracy of your app order before leaving the store and yet again I experienced the same. As you can see from the receipt I shared, both subs I ordered come with bacon, and yet again, the California sub did not have bacon. You'll also notice on the California it says nothing about cheese (I removed that); guess what? There was cheese in it. Luckily for me, VERY bad for their quality control, I stepped to the side, opened the sub in the store, and checked. While the situation was resolved quickly by them adding bacon and removing the cheese (NO THEY DID NOT MAKE ME A NEW SUB, just added and removed their mistakes...VERY SAD), I should not have to do that. I should have the confidence that my order was made right. Please, please owner of this store, train your sandwich makers on what goes into each sub. First of all, I love Jersey Mikes and have been at the Chandler store many times. Today I ordered my usual, made an Arnold Palmer drink with unsweetened iced tea, everything was fine! I refilled my drink to go and instead of unsweetened iced tea, I poured sweetened iced tea with my lemonade only to discover that there was still cleaning fluid in the tank!!!! I swallowed a little and dumped the rest out! Employees didn't seem to care at all when I told them that there was toxic cleaning fluid left over in the iced tea! My mouth is still burning a little and I'm sure I'll be fine, but NEVER trust young kids who don't care about anything and don't know anything about things toxic chemicals! I have been to Jersey Mikes about 5 or 6 times now and I really like this place . I was a little bit hesitatant at first since I have been to eve sub joint and figured it was going to be the same thing as the other places but I figured I'd give it a chance. Six visits later I'm happy to write this review. I am a creachure of habit. Once I like something I get it over and over. I expand my choices but when I like it I get it. I enjoy the Club Supreme on wheat. Today's visit was the same but I wanted to mention that the bread was fabulous. Nice crew, clean, we'll lit inside, but a little dark out front. I was driving back to my friends house that I'm dog sitting for, and saw that they opened a Jersey Mikes here. I've eaten at Jersey Mikes before, just not this location. I really liked this place. They have great hours, are open late and have a nice variety of subs to choose from. They come in a few different sizes, and are made to your liking. The gal that helped me was really friendly and helpful, and was able to carry on a conversation while she placed my order. I ended up going with the famous mikes, which was turkey, roast beef and all the fixings. Quite tasty! I will gladly return! read more
