I've driven past this restaurant for months as it's right next to my gym but was never in this area during their hours. The restaurant has a very fresh and clean appearance and atmosphere from the minute you enter along with the professional and clean graphic design and marketing you expect from a chain restaurant. The menu was a little overwhelming at first with all the options, so I opted to go with one of their premise options. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Mediterranean Wrap with a side of their Greek Vinaigrette, an iced tea, and chips. I was very tempted to buy one of their 12+ soup options but held off. The wrap was hefty and filling and they didn't skimp on the chicken which was nice. When it was being made, the woman making my order made sure to verify that all the ingredients were ok by me, and let me customize the amount of dressing she put on it. I opted for light dressing (Garlic Oil Vinaigrette) because i wanted to put some on each bite like a burrito. Their Greek vinaigrette was loaded with cheese and delicious. After my meal I was pretty full but I couldn't stop thinking about the soup so I went back and got a small Italian Wedding Soup after consulting the man at the counter about his opinions on the soups he had had. He was open and honest and even responded to questions about how they were made (they come from a company that makes them fresh in a kitchen and freezes them and they are reheated in the oven) The Italian wedding soup was very good with nice meatballs that weren't too mushy and you could tell were from real meat and handmade, nothing like preproduced canned soups. If I was served this soup in a sit down Italian restaurant, I probably wouldn't give it the best review ever but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed, and it was far more than I expected from a chain salad restaurant like this. While a minor part overall, their iced tea was also exceptionally good and not too strong or too weak and definitely not old (a big thing for me because I'm an iced tea fanatic) Jonah and Alise (Alice?) were exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful and knew about the chains history and such (I wasn't sure if this was a chain or not to being with). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and really hope to see this chain expand into the west coast more. It is unlike any other restaurant currently in our market and if this was by my work I could easily see myself spending way too much money eating this everyday instead of bringing my own lunch! read more

I am so stoked to have a new salad bar in town. I eat a lot of salads and could not wait to get in here and try this place out. I was not disappointed at all. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a very welcoming gentleman who right away just made you feel good to be there. I noticed everyone was practicing the social distancing and everything looked very clean. Walking up to the salad bar a very energetic friendly young man explained how to order. I chose the create your own salad and I got to choose 3 base choices which I chose the super green mix and then I got to choose 5 toppings. There was a huge selection of toppings so I chose , mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, avocado, and tofu mixed with a balsamic dressing. The young man even asked how much dressing I wanted and mixed it all up so nicely. At the checkout they even offer complimentary dinner rolls which were just as delicious and went perfect with my salad. If you don't want a salad they have other choices like several soups, wraps, and panini's. The restraunt is in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking and in a safe area. I also love the way they stay open until 8 pm. If you download the app you can order ahead and rack up points too. This is the best salad bar I have been to and am so happy they chose to open here in Reno. So get out and give this place a try. You wont be disappointed. This is going to be my new favorite place to eat and the prices are very reasonable as well. read more

Delicious, healthy and VEGAN FRIENDLY!! Not only are there many healthy fresh options available and build your own salads and wraps, but you can also substitute non vegan or vegetarian items on one of their menu optional salads with a preferred item suitable for your diet. For example I had the avocado cob, but I substituted their chicken, bacon, and egg on the orginal with tofu and mushrooms! You get to watch the workers make your salad or wrap during the whole process and everything was so clean. I am so excited about this restaurant! I love big salads and the idea of salad bars. This is the perfect combination in today's environment. I've been there twice in the 3 days they've been open and have been incredibly happy both times! The first visit I had their Buffalo Bleu salad and this time I created my own. They have the standard salad options along with some less common options! They also have some great sounding soups and sandwiches. The best part is how friendly and welcoming the staff is! Hate writing reviews like this, but they keep getting our pick-up orders wrong. We have tried this 6-7 times in the last year. Hopefully the owners can properly train staff to LISTEN to patrons. Due to dietary restrictions, we order everything without cheeses, sauces or dressings. Our sandwich was bathing in sauce, so we couldn't eat it at all. Our cobb salad had blue cheese on it but NO bacon and NO chicken. So after removing all the cheese, we were left with romaine, tomatoes and just a small amount of avocado and hard boiled egg. Saladworks! Where have you been all my life?! I have been homesick for the Soup Plantation, down in Southern California and though this is not that, it fills the void quite nicely. My husband and I are on doctors orders to clean up our diet so we decided to give this place a try. It's like Subway for salads, only with a bazillion and one options! I seriously stood there in a stupor for a full minute, my brain on overload...literally forgetting what I ordinarily put on my salads, because there were SOOOOO many choices! I chose the build your own salad with crispy chicken, which comes with 5 extra ingredients. And we're not talking a rinky dink salad here. It comes in a big bowl. And that was for the HALF salad HALF sandwich option, as well as chips. For my half sandwich I chose the grilled bacon, tomato panini. I scarfed the entire meal, minus the nibbles my husband snagged. He ordered what I can only describe as a salad wrap. It was pretty dry, but a side of dressing fixed him right up. I can't remember the name of his soup but the flavors were so layered & scrumptious I'm already planning a return visit. I also have to try the drink that claims it's the most delicious drink ever created on the face of the planet. Truly. They weren't shy about advertising all over the store that this drink was the end all be all. That remains to be seen. As for the service, the ladies behind the counter were friendly & exceedingly patient, as they waited for me to put my tongue back in my mouth long enough to order. Note: if you're dealing with the similar dilemma of locating a dining option to satisfy your vegan family member w/o sacrificing your own menu requirements, Saladworks would be a good choice. Literally my new favorite place. The salad bar concept is something we definitely don't have enough of and I am so happy that we finally have saladworks! Although it being in the northwest is slightly inconvenient for my sparks residency, I still make it a point to come here fairly often. Their ingesting are super fresh, they have a ton of different options, and their pricing is so affordable. I like that they give you the option to choose from some of their curated menu items or to create your own. Their pick 2 menu is such a great deal and a really good size portion of food. Most of the staff is super friendly and helpful, although every once in a while you catch someone when they're busy and distracted. But 9 times out of 10 you get great service! We loved Saladworks in person... we do not recommend it to go. This is the second time we ordered something through Grubhub and were disappointed with what we got. This time I ordered a warm bowl and got a salad. Also, what my husband ordered did not show up as we ordered. In store they are amazing; however, when I called to tell them how they messed up the girl who answered the phone was like "oops" and wanted us to come down and order again because they were so busy. She also verified that they messed up because of how busy it was. At this point we will never order them again and I will work to give our money to places that seem to respect their orders. Went here twice, on our way through and back about a week apart. Both times the staff were very friendly and efficient and did a good job cleaning the facility when there was downtime. Really great staff. Salads were excellent both times. The first time the rolls were hot and shockingly good, we were talking about them the next day. The second time they were cold and rock hard. So delicious. Great flavors! We loved all of the variety of salads and sandwiches. All of the veggies were fresh and at their peak- no soggy greens here! The soup is amazing too- two flavors- chicken noodle and broccoli cheese. We ordered a mix of soups, sandwiches and salads after a crazy day of youth sports combined with working parents. We're so burnt out on cooking and takeout after this past year. Our food from Saladworks was fresh, delicious and just felt healthy. I will add that we ordered it through a delivery platform (that will remain unnamed) and getting our order took longer. But while the delivery apps make you believe their driver is sitting there waiting and it's the restaurant that isn't ready, that's just NOT true. Saladworks had our order ready (I only happen to know that because of a slight change to our order) and the driver was delayed. Wish we had this restaurant where we live. We ate here two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much. We chose the make your own option, but they have a nice selection of salads which are recommended if you want to go that route. The salads also come with a roll and butter.
