This location is poorly run and consistently terrible. Have attempted to bring my business here twice and will not return. The first time, I was told that they were "out of lettuce". Not sure how a restaurant that is premised upon salads runs out of salad midday, but these guys managed to make it happen. The second time I attempted to bring this location my business would be my last. The restaurant closes at 9pm, and I arrived at 8:35pm to place a takeout order. When I walked in, all of the lettuce (which was wilted), was placed in a trash bag. I asked the employee who was actively cleaning and removing items from the salad bar if I could place an order. She told me that they already removed most of the "proteins", so she would serve me if I was "okay with" the few remaining options that weren't already taken away. I asked if they had any more lettuce and was told that it was "in the back". When I asked if she could please go get some, I was told that "the people who cut it already left". Seeing as this was the second time in a row that Salata was out of lettuce, I asked to speak to a manager. Another employee standing by rudely asked why I needed to speak with the manager. When the manager arrived, I explained my frustrations. Meanwhile, multiple other employees stood in the back laughing and acting unprofessional. Got this via uber eats (at twice the price, so can't speak on ambiance, speed or courtesy of employees, etc). Was so gooood! I love that you can add as many toppings as you want for a low price. Everything was super fresh! I got the spicy chicken and it was super flavorful and delicious! I also got the jalapeño avocado dressing and ranch. The ranch was super runny, the avacado dressing was thick, they were the perfect consistency together. My friend got salmon on her salad with the balsamic dressing. The balsamic dressing was also really thick, but she said everything was good on her salad as well. I'll definitely be back when I get the craving for a super salad. read more

Oh man, I didn't want to have to write a review of this place, but it needs to be repeated, because I've read other reviews stating the same issue from months and years prior and yet NOTHING has been done to remedy the situation. The Customer Service is HORRIBLE. I live in the neighborhood and enjoy getting their fresh salads but I dread going in each time because the staff could not me more unfriendly and rude. They act like customers are putting them out when we come in. I'm sure they have a few decent workers but after going about 15 times now, 90% of the times I go in, I met with terrible customer service. Was really looking forward to this place opening and I was not disappointed! I used to go to a very similar salad place when I lived in Chicago and LOVED it. Glad we have one in Atlanta now. The interior is bright and open with some high top seating and some booth seating. Across the back wall is the salad station. It functions very similar to a chipotle wherein you start at the back with your base (greens) and then add on top of that with veggies, protein, toppings, dressings, etc. There are SO many options when it comes to toppings. You really can't go wrong! As a vegan, this place came in CLUTCH! Also good to note, they are gluten-free sensitive! Veggie protein options include baked tofu, falafel, and quinoa. I would like to see more vegan dressings than the balsamic vinaigrette and the lemon vinaigrette (missing my Thai peanut dressing from my Chicago spot), but nonetheless the balsamic got the job done. Another recommendation would be to slice or scoop the avocado out of the shell a little better. I ended up with two big chunks of the half avocado in my salad instead of it being equally distributed. Otherwise, super happy with this place! The portions are hefty and the options are endless! I definitely recommend checking this place out. read more

I had to add an update because I've now eaten at Salata thrice this week and really enjoyed every salad combination I've tried. Today, my service specialist made sure my kale was broken down really well and I sincerely appreciated it. All the toppings are still very fresh and tasty. I know my last review may have come off more critical, but I want to reiterate that Salata is delightful and you'll definitely be satisfied. I think I was more or less trying to note that this is a very healthy salad shop, so you may or may not be "wowed". I also want to give extra kudos because I really feel like a Kardashian when I'm eating these salads. Most times that's a con, but today its a pro! I look forward to trying a wrap soon! read more

I am absolutely disgusted and disturbed. I went to Salata Madison Yards location yesterday afternoon and I ordered a salad. I took my small salad with chicken to-go. I sat in my car and ate more than a few bites, to discover that the chicken was uncooked (raw). After walking back into the establishment, I alerted the staff and they assured me the manager, who was out, would be reaching out to me before end of day to issue me a refund. Well the manager did not only NOT reach out but when I called today the manager was still not in. I am disappointed as I do come to this Salata location often. I got the regular salad with a variety of toppings, herb marinated chicken, and ranch dressing. The amount of food is a lot which is good for the price. However, the quality of the food was missing. Just the look and taste of some of the vegetables, it seemed like they were canned. The chicken also didn't seem very fresh and the tea tasted like an artificial flavor. To the point I feel I need to leave a review On multiple occasions I have ordered pick up through the app, that is a mistake. In an estimated 20 to 30 minute pick up time, it has never been under an hour for me to receive a salad. At least once after 40 minutes, I had to ask if they had gotten the order, where they checked and said oh sorry, and it still took at least 15 more minutes. Like other reviews have mentioned, at 8:30 I was turned away because "they were closing" though it was a Friday and they didn't close until 9. Also, I have never seen a less efficient staff. The manager always looked stressed out, while the other employees just kinda stand around and half assed do a task until they feel compelled to abandon it for another. Even with four employees and only four customers, it will take over 30 minutes for everyone in line to get their food. (Again this is a salad bar) read more

This was the worst to-go experience I've ever had. I got a notification that my order was ready and arrived 5 minutes later. When I went in I was told that they didn't have my order and I'd have to get in line. Then they found my order and said they didn't know how to make a salad listed on their website. Never in a million years would I recommend this place. 1. Terrible customer service: The workers were incredibly rude and impatient with the customers. They weren't even trying to be patient and it definitely showed. This place is extremely unprofessional as the workers were laughing and making faces as they worked 2. I ordered a sweet tea without knowing that it HAD ALCOHOL. Neither me or the person I was with were asked to show our ID and both of us are under 21 years old. When I tried the sweet tea I immediately threw out my drink because both of us tasted the alcohol. While this was going done, none of the workers said a thing. 3. Next, inside they only had 2 trashcans and one of them was turned around to face the wall so that you couldn't throw out your trash. The other trash can was overflowing with trash.
