Easily my favorite restaurant of all time. Great food, great service. I get the Kids Baked Potato with cheese and butter on the side. Normally it comes with bacon bits as well but that's not my style. But the best part? The pickles. Don't get the sandwich pickles at the salad bar, get the pickle spears that they keep in the back. Those are the best pickles you'll ever have. Sometimes they have the bagged pickles spears, which are alright but nothing to write home about. You also get complimentary soft serve ice cream which has a chocolate sauce topping. My little hack is to put some of the chocolate mousse (which has chocolate chips) at the bottom of the cup, then layer the ice cream on top. No better way to end a meal. Aside from that, the service here today was great. The people were friendly and the manager was going up to people asking how their meal was. There's lot of seating, including tables, booths, and some counter space. There's also an upstairs level with an outdoor space which is only opened sometimes. The parking is in a garage right next door. How it works is that you pay to park and after you've completed the transaction you validate it and get your money back. It's good for 2 hours. read more

My first time at Jason's deli on lavista Rd., the food was great, fresh, plentiful. The staff was amazing. This is a special place to chill with great food, great varieties of tea and free ice cream. Now this is the place to go if you want a KILLER SALAD BAR! I like to do the take -out salad bar because I get two and a half full meals for the price of one! I build my salad upside-down, which helps preserve it for next day. I start by placing my most sturdy veggie choices down first- broccoli, celery, radish, etc. Then I add other veggies like shrooms, keeping everything in sort of little piles. I add any messy things like pasta salad into either the separated parts of the container, or in the dressing ramekins they provide. Finally, salad greens go on top! I also try to use the ramekins for crunchy things- to keep them crunchy! I use my own dressing from my fridge at home, so that I utilize the (I wanna say, 3 or 4?) different ramekins they provide for keeping other ingredients fresh. Showing up on a Saturday afternoon, there were only a few other patrons in the relatively large space. There used to be outdoor sets but now it's strictly inside. I got their Chipotle Chicken & Avocado Panini while my aunt got their Wild Salmon-wich Regular. We were both with our choices and our sides of fruit and their cream cheese based yogurt dip. Sandwiches came out quick and were pretty filling especially for their reasonable price. Quality was not out of the world but the staff were really nice and it located in a walk-friendly area. This location is in downtown. If there is a lot, we didn't see it. There is street parking. Downtown is a lot more crowded with many people walking around and night life compared to last time we visited. The near by businesses were very loud and crowded on Sun at about 7-8 PM. Jason's itself had moderate business and was relatively quiet. The order takers and servers were polite and efficient. We got the manager's special with CA Club sandwich, respectively jambalaya and tomato basil soup, and fruit side. There is no Jason's near us at home, so we haven't been here for a while. However, the food was great as we remembered. We forgot they give you marshmallow sauce with the fruit. It makes a great dessert, but we really only like it with the strawberries. Still a great place to go. Definitely recommend trying them for soup, sandwich, pasta, or salad bar--bar comes with soft serve. read more

We popped in during Pride to use the restroom and I decided to refuel. I admit freely that Jason's Deli has never been on my radar but I've been aware of them. It's a clean place with a lot of space and an enticing menu. The staff were nice and they'll bring your meal to your table and clean up after you. The manager, Amanda, does not have good customer service, and maintaining basic standards like food quality and the cleanliness of the restaurant, apparently isn't her priority. Tammy, who is one of my son's most-favorite persons in the world, gave me a hug last time we were in for our Sunday visit because her manager showed her my review and kind words about her. because you shared my thoughts with Tammy, it touched her, and in return it made us all feel good! I've given some very harsh, deservedly so, reviews in the past few months that, in beforetimes, would've caused front-of-the-house managers to reach out and have a discussion. no shade to anyone but we need to get back to keeping those connections alive. I have had the Muffaletta Turkey a lot, BUT not like this. The sandwich is usually tasty, BUT not like this. It didn't even look usual. It was like a puzzle to me, the way the cheese just SAT there. However upon opening the box with my avocado toast, I was surprised to see this is what was given to me after paying almost 8 dollars. This was really a slap in the face. I was expecting it to be like the picture but this is ridiculous. There's more feta than anything, and the avocado is barely there. It looks like a knife was being cleaned on the bread instead of there being a spread. The location we ordered from was. Another coworker had the same meal and hers looks the same. This eatery is one of the most consistent businesses I have eaten in since I moved back to Atlanta. The croissant sandwich with steamed veggies, that I used to get many years ago, is still delicious and exactly the same. The customer service is always friendly and the inside is very clean and inviting. The one thing that the establishment cannot control is the homeless harassing it's customers who eat outside on the patio, which I have witnessed three out of the four times I have been in. I was so pleased when I learned I could order Jason's Deli salad bar using DoorDash! They make a great delivery salad. You get to choose all your favorite ingredients just like you're in person but it's delivered to your front door. Everything is sooooo fresh!! I can't think of anything that's missing. Jordan, the manager, gave me a full refund for the pastrami Reuben wrap (manager's special) because the meat was dry and the cost was 2 bucks more than indicated on the menu. He explained, with the interception of the cashier, that the sandwich cost more because it was special and corporate raised the price. The gumbo soup was also a bit too salty, but I didn't bother to complain. I detest lousy food. To make the wrap edible, I had to get thousand island dressing from the salad bar and dip it with every bite. Even then, I felt jipped. Complaining made matters worse for me since it's a low vibration. Jordan offered to remake the wrap but I didn't have time to wait, plus I didn't want to take a chance on the food making me sick, from me being so full. I really hate paying for food that isn't good because it's harmful to my digestive system and detrimental to my overall health. I wouldn't even want it if it were free. Thanks to Jordan, however, he compensated me fairly and because of his sincere apology, I will remain a Jason's Deli customer. Trust me, if Jordan hadn't handled the situation as a professional, Jason's Deli would have lost me as a customer, permanently. This location (like most Jason's locations I've been to) is always great. The location is excellent (parking is sometimes a challenge but it's close to Marta, and in a great are, right next to Piedmont park in Midtown. Inside is clean and spacious with an upstairs for extra seating. Salad bar items are always fresh and plentiful, with all the condiments to be desired. I usually order the "Chicago club" , which for some reason is no longer on the menu but every location still serves it if you ask. It's a Turkey BLT on this delicious focaccia, which is made perfectly, with spinach, tomato,Turkey, bacon, and some special spicy mayo based sauce, absolutely delicious. Never let's me down. It comes with chips of your choice. I usually get the sandwich with chips and small drink, for under $10. You also get complimentary soft serve ice cream. This particular location has great employees, everyone is always friendly, professional and extremely efficient. (I didn't get my servers name but he was an awesome guy, I attached a pic of the sandwich and the check so maybe the manager can give him kudos, or maybe he is the manager). I have been eating at Jason's deli for about 15 to 20 years in multiple states including Arizona and Georgia. I normally get the "big chef"which is a salad and my wife normally gets a sandwich. I have on occasion gotten a Reuben sandwich which they stacked that corn beef about an inch and a half high and it is a great sandwich. Prices always go up and I expect that. I think the size of the salad has decreased the last few visits. Other than that, it is a go to place for salads and sandwiches. read more

I have attempted to place an order at this location twice, Customer Service was absent on both occasions. I originally placed an order on 7/11/2022, for a group order we waited 1 hour and a half before we called the location for them to say they were unable to located our order which resulted in us eating Chick-fil-A at 3:30 PM. I then on good faith tried to order a group order again on 7/12/2022 which the order was placed for delivery at 12:38, only for someone to call be back and inform me that they are unable to deliver but I could pick up the group order which is 20 minutes away from my location. DISAPPOINTING OVERALL!!!! I called the restaurant back to inquire why my order could not be delivered from the Manager( Tamorn or Cameron) he stated they are booked, I explained both circumstances and still no resolution, from there I requested to get a corporate number...... and I'm waiting for a follow-up. My new favorite dessert from Jason's Deli is the Strawberry Shortcake. Made up of two thick slices of poundcake, whip cream and strawberries. The strawberries are cut into slices and intricately arranged on each slice of pound cake. The presentation is A+ you almost don't want to eat it. The only thing I would suggest is that you add some type of syrup or juice from the strawberries to it because they cake is very dense. Other than that I loved it read more
