So I've been coming to this Salata location for almost a year and each time I visit, I become more inclined to visit others in the area. I went by last night (1/8/19) and it was complete chaos! There were 5 people working and no organization. It took almost 15 minutes to make my salad and there were only 3 people in line!! Ahh so good! I recently attended a Yelp Elite experience at Salata (like literally last week) And I've been craving the freshness ever since! This location is gorgeous, with huge windows that over look the golf course. I really enjoyed a "me date" with my delicious salad and the view. Today I opted for the salata mix with kale, tons of fresh veggies including cucumber, tomatoes, chickpeas, kidney beans, bean sprouts, beets. I added some mozzarella cheese and some sun-dried tomatoes and topped it off with some walnuts and croutons. I went for the herb vinaigrette again as that is my favorite dressing and make sure to ask for the dressing in a side container just Incase I had leftovers (which I didn't!). I've always been a huge fan of Salata. I was so excited to hear about the quarry location as it's close to work. This is by far the location with the coolest view as it overlooks the quarry golf course. During my first visit, I dined alone and was able to sit at a table facing the golf course and keep to myself. This time around, I ordered online and picked up my food as I only had a few minutes for lunch. I didn't have to wait long (5 minutes tops) and my food was ready when I got to the front of the line. This is great considering the line to sit down was SUPER long. The options for food are great. You can choose from a variety of toppings including black beans, carrots, apples, pumpkin seeds, and much more. My only complaint about Salata is that the portion sizes are never enough. I always want extra veggies or seeds. This could also be a case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach because I always leave Salata stuffed to the gills. We were excited to try this place after one of my coworkers raved about the one by North Star. At first the price did not seem too bad $8 for a large salad, but that does not include any real protein. It ends up being $10-$12 if you add chicken or seafood. If you want avocado that is another dollar and artichokes are one more dollar. You could potentially pay $14 for a salad. The soup and drinks are also not included. It ended up costing $48 for 3 of us. I will say it was a really good salad. Everything was very fresh. It was all cut to the perfect size. It tasted great. They seemed to very short staffed. The tables all needed to be wiped off. The view was really nice. We found the cleanest spot at the counter against the window and had a great view of the golf course. read more

I loved this place! It is conveniently located in the Quarry and parking is plentiful. There are options to choose from for your salad so you can customize it and make it your own from veggies, proteins, toppings, you name it. The assembly line is much like the one at other restaurants like Chipotle. They also have different breads and soups to add on as well. The cost of the salad can add up depending on how many things you can add in, but there is a military discount as well which is nice. There is a great view of the gold course in the seating area as well. I'll definitely be back! read more

So gooooodddd. I already want another salad! This was my first time ever coming to Salata. I have seen the reviews, pictures, & in passing. It's always intrigued me, but for some reason I just never tried it... until today. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. I decided to skim over everything they had available & at this point I was excited to get my salad on. I told the lady who helped me that it was my first time & she promptly walked me through the service. She even explained that I could try anything before I put it in my salad. Which was great for me, because I can be quite picky at times. I got two types of lettuce which were romaine & the Salata mix, I added alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, tomatoes, mixed cheese, egg, bacon, croutons, & the pesto chicken. (The chicken was AMAZING. Highly recommend that choice.) I asked for my dressing on the side since I was taking it to go & didn't want it to get soggy. They mixed my salad & places it in a to go box & I was ready to be on my way. Right before I grabbed my box to go the lady offered me me a cup to sample their lemonades. I was shocked by her hospitality & was very excited since they have a bunch of lemonades to choose. I ended up getting the peach lemonade & it was so refreshing! On a warmish -humid AF- day, consuming all the vegis seemed like the right thing to do. Salata came highly recommend. The space was really clean and organized with loads of seating. LOVE that. The gentleman behind the counter was super helpful and walked me through my selections. I opted for a wrap and he literally went through every single option of additions...and believe me, there are plenty. We stopped at the radishes where he informed that he had never tried one before. "Try one now", I suggested, which to my surprise he did! I thought that was a pretty fun exchange, and then I realized he didn't change his glove after picking up the radish and putting it into his mouth. If this place hadn't already been so put together and sanitary, I may have said something, but I didn't want to cause a fuss. Slightly grossed out, but committed to experience, I moved on from the moment and kept on adding. My wrap was loaded with vegis, their herbed chicken and I did a mix and match with a couple different sauces. I added avocado, because AVOCADO and went with the spinach wrap to, literally, seal the deal. From the moment I walked into this establishment to the moment I left I had this very unsettling feeling in my gut. The employee I worked with directly was rude as hell. I wasn't sure where the line started and he automatically said "It's on the wall look up and read." Okay. Sure. First blow. Then I proceed to order and his rudeness doesn't stop. It gets worse. I've never felt like such a burden to someone in my life. I was so ready to leave the restaurant because he made me so uncomfortable. I go to salata very frequently but this was my first time coming to this specific location. The first downfall was their parking, horrible, I had to park in a parking garage and walk about 5 minutes to get to the restaurant. I guess parking isnt something they can really control so thats not my biggest problem. The food was good as always but my problem came with the manager. As I was ordering at the counter the manager was being extremely rude to all the employees behind the counter. It seems that they had missed the dressing on a to go order and he made all of them stop what they were doing and he started to basically yell at them for missing the dressing. He started waving the ticket in the girls face that was standing in front of me and then continued to toss the salad on the counter behind him and just said to her "you need to pay attention to this stuff". He was so frantic and running back and forward behind the counter yelling at all the employees and it got extremely frustrating. There was an upset guest next to me and instead of the manager stepping in when the employee was getting yelled at he just stood there and watched it happen. All of the employees seemed like they hated being there and it was honestly so saddening. He continued to snap at one of the girls because she was putting the toppings around the side of the bowl instead of piling them in the middle, the salad gets tossed so I dont get what the concern is since its all getting mixed at the end. Its frustrating seeing management be disrespectful to their employees when they already get treated negatively by their guests. You can very much coach them to do better without having to embarrass them in front of a customer. Will definitely not be coming back to this location just because of that. read more

I came here with a lady friend on a Thursday around 4ish. The place was empty and the gentleman who was assisting me was very kind. I don't know what it is with Salata's but the employees are extraordinarily kind/respectful. It's the same service you'd get at a Chick-Fil-A, with the whole,'my pleasure, sir.' I enjoy coming here as you can create your own salad and they have an abundance of options to choose from. I would recommend coming to this place if you are looking for a healthy meal or are in a hurry to get some quality quick food. The restrooms were clean and so was the dining area which is always a good sign. P.S if you're looking to eat something like a wrap, they also have that available and it's healthy. You can't beat these places. I highly recommend you try the mango dressing as it's not overly sweet but just right. They offer proteins to add into your salads/wraps but they're about $3. When adding your ingredients (veggies/fruit) they use their hands with gloves of course... but they use a dare I say conservative approach. Perhaps I'm just a natural eater and would be the one to fill my entire hand up with ingredients but you can ask them to add more of whatever it is you choose. Cheers! read more

The food was really good, but a little a pricey. Don't get the large, though it is way to much to eat in one sitting for one person. The parking was a little bad, but I went at lunch time so that seems like it's usually at it's busiest. They charge extra for the proteins so be prepared for that. I've been to this restaurant so many times and had a wonderful experience but tonight was by far the worse I've had and I'm just at awe..... so I went in at 8pm granted they close at 9 but still it's still open and the Business should still be running accordingly I ordered a regular veggie salad I walked in I seen the worker wipe down the counter she said hello and proceeded to walk towards me usually they have utensils to put everything you want on a salad she continue by using her hands with the gloves that she had just finished wiping down the counter I looked at her oddly and she still continue to make the salad she got a little frustrated with me when I told her that I wanted extra chopped eggs nonetheless she put them on there and continue making the salad I didn't want to cause a scene so I pay for the salad and walked out as I'm walking out I see her go wash her hands change her gloves wash your hands change your gloves and help the next customer so I called and I asked about the utensils and I let her know you made my whole salad with the same gloves that you wipe down the counter with and that was very unsanitary she gave me all types of excuses on why she didn't change her gloves and why they were no Utensils out I let her know how I felt and she didn't seem apologetic I won't be returning read more
