This place has potential...I didn't really enjoy my build your own bowl, but since it was my first time there, I think I just ordered wrong. I got the shawarma chicken bowl and it was very dry. Make sure you add dressings and sauces to keep it from being a dry experience. Also, I've had the real deal in the Middle East, so that could mess with my expectations. The line was super long, so obviously people love it! It does seem tedious to get through the ordering process...would have been nice to have some menus we could look at. I popped in to grab dinner after shopping, and the service was very quick and attentive! It appeared clean when I went in and looked like every other CAVA. I got my usual order, and I can say this location did not disappoint! Everything tasted fresh and delicious; I was very happy with my food. The man taking my order was so kind, he allowed customers who hadn't yet tried the drinks to get one for free! I got the lemonade and it was so good! I'm never the guy to leave a bad review at any spots but this cava is my go to after meal gym 3-4 times a week. Foods great but the service is very very poor lately , not sure if they changed mangers , but they're always short staffed , the chips are super cold , they always run out of meat , and when they make you wait 20-30 mins for meat and you finally ask if they can get any substitute meat they charge you extra. I love how much you can customize their bowls. There is something for vegans, vegetarians, and the carnivores! If you are keto, or paleo, or gluten free, there is an option here for you. The service is quick, even with it being a pretty busy lunch spot. It's always clean and uncluttered inside. The signature drinks are delicious and so is the food. I love this place! The employees are always so kind, helpful, and friendly. The food is amazing and by building my own Pita or Bowl, I can make lots of healthy delicious choices. I introduced my friends to Cava and they love it too. We eat there at least twice a week and never leave hungry. Self serve drinks and and lemonade. My favorite combination so far is a bowl with half spinach and half romaine as the base, traditional hummus, tzatziki, and roasted eggplant dip, grilled chicken, roasted corn, persian cucumbers, and balsamic date vinaigrette. I also like getting an order of pita chips and getting some garlic sauce to dip them in. They are seriously addictive! My husband's favorite bowl is half splendid greens, half basmatic rice, red pepper and traditional hummus, grilled chicken, roasted vegetables (double protein), cabbage, olives, romaine lettuce, and hot harissa vinaigrette and lemon herb tahini sauce on top. The ingredients were tasty, I got a few of all so it was very flavorful. The portioning was pretty good too, I wasn't able to finish it and will be taking it home for later tonight. Payed like $12 for it which is very reasonable for a bowl. The place was clean and the staff was super nice too. They gave me some pita bread and hummus on the house! I have visited a number of locations for Cava and generally have a good experience. I think it's nice that they offer suggestions of bowls you can put together but also allow you to customize your bowl/ pita like Chipotle. I love that you can customize your bowl to be as filling and healthy (or unhealthy) as you want. Every time I've gone, I always order the same thing... a build your own lamb bowl. The ingredients are always fresh and the lamb seems to always be cooked perfectly. Plus, lamb is not a protein source I often find at restaurants so it's a nice change of pace. The only thing with this location is that it can become very crowded and have long wait times (a problem with many good business) and the staff can be friendly/ very unfriendly depending on the day. Some of the employees are very happy to help and make you feel welcome while others act like every ingredient is a huge ask and you're bothering them. Overall, this place is worth a visit and definitely a place I'll be returning to! read more

Visited 2 weeks ago in the late afternoon & my friend & I had 2 Protein Bowls. I tried the Harissa Avocado Bowl as I didn't want the standard grilled chicken. I asked the tall, Afro haired young server with glasses if it was spicy & he shook his head & answered "Oh no....it's not that spicy!" So I decided to try it. It comes with Includes "SuperGreens", Basmati Rice, Crazy Feta, Hummus, Harissa Honey Chicken, Fire-Roasted Corn, Avocado, Pickled Onions, Cucumber, Feta and our Hot Harissa Vinaigrette. I asked for the Tzatziki Sauce on the side to try. When you build your bowl you can replace or add items to customize it. My bowl is pretty much a standard protein bowl with avocado added. When I took a couple bites I noticed the Harissa Chicken was hot!! So did my friend as she got the same but added lamb meatballs. I kept trying to drink iced water & eat the rice & avocado as it was too spicy for me. The Super Greens were more Brussel sprouts & cabbage or Kale vs. maybe Spinach & leafy Super Food leafy Greens. I was disappointed. And the Harissa dressing was hot as well!! Crew seemed new esp. tall gentleman who took my order. And they ran out of pita chips for my friend's order so they said they'd bring it to our table but never did so my friend had to get up & request it. She had ordered a kids meal so they gave a large order of Pita Chips which were crispy & delicious. The Cucumber Mint Lime drink was refreshing. Super Slow service. Waited 1/2 an hour in line with like 7 people in front of me. Only two people at the front, one of them multitask between providing the toppings and cashiering. There's like a good 4-5 people in the back which i think could have helped out at the front. I got a customized bowl with pita, got home they they forgot the pita in the bag. So sad. Food wise, the food at this location doesn't look as good as the other location by trader joes. The toppings look like they're not refilled in time. Mine was limited until they started to bring out more. I brought my bowl back for them pits crisp! Overall food is 3/5, harissa vinaigrette is okay, i wouldn't get it again. read more

My 1st. Dinner 6 pm. Food is OK. $11.01 for a Grains Bowl. Protein rice is served cold. Meat is hot but not hot enough to taste like a hot meal. Pita chips as topping are really shreds. Nice variety of fountain drinks. Water dispensed from soda fountain is carbonated water. Three employees prepping food in kitchen and only one employee servicing customers and he was unfriendly (think Soup Kitchen from Seinfeld). Tables outside are iron-weaved and dirty: wanted a tablecloth. It's like Subway with Mediterranean food. One and done for me. read more

First time here. They recently opened here at the RIM. I ordered the spicy lamb meatball pita but replaced the meat with lamb. A bit more money but totally worth it. My wife had the lentil avocado falafel bowl. Both of us agreed it was a lot of food, healthy selections and great flavors. The picketed onions and pickles added bread blend of sweetness to the food. We will come back again. But the staff needs to do a better job of cleaning the dining room. Every one of the tables were dirty the entire time we were eating.
