Their sandwiches like the French dip and the turkey, roast beef and ham sandwiches are good and their sweet tea gives Bill Miller's a big run for their money. I ordered through the app, as per usual. Today, I tried something I've never ordered before: a bowl of potato soup. It looked so good and hearty online; I just had to have it with the cooler weather. However, it is nothing like photos! It dawned on me a little too late to take a photo, but posted one for you to see. I will not be finishing this bowl. It does not come topped with cheddar, bacon, and green onions like the pictures show. The soup broth is thin, as you can see in the photo. The consistency is about the same as milk. What prompted me to leave a review was the potato chunks - about half of them are not thoroughly cooked (raw in the middle). McAlister's, you're slipping; big time! Please get back to the good quality and freshness that I've come to know and love. The reason I gave the review 2 stars (instead of the 1 the soup deserves) is because their tea is still outstanding. Savannah answered every question we had about the menu, AJ offered us refills when barely half way done with our drink and Michael had our table spotless before we sat down. One and done. First time here, Friday evening 5-6pm-ish, $65+ order, family of 5. Messed up my order literally every way it could be. Asked for ham, got turkey. Didn't ask for tomatoes, got tomatoes (sandwich doesn't come with tomatoes), asked to add bacon, no bacon. Ordered pretzel dogs, never came but not charged either. Kid's cold turkey and cheese sandwich was grilled for some reason (did not ask for that - kid hates melted cheese). The breaking point was my older son biting into his sandwich and right into a 2"x2" square of wax paper from the cheese slices. See image. Employee apologized seems like a million times, remade my son's sandwich with the wax paper, and remade my totally backwards sandwich so effort was made to make things right. However, this many misses in a single visit is, to me, unforgivable. Restaurant was beautiful, very clean (it's brand new so I would hope so), and staff was friendly though painfully inexperienced, undertrained, and/or poorly managed. This location has the same issue as the other locations. It's either hit or miss. Sometimes, they get the order correct. Sometimes, they get it wrong. We stopped ordering from here for a while because we were turned off from the frequent mistakes. It's super frustrating when you are looking forward to enjoying your meal only to realize that your order isn't correct. The most common mistake is when they give us wheat bread when we specifically ordered (on the app) white bread. We had to learn the hard way to ALWAYS check the other before driving away. One of the most aggravating incidents that resulted in a long break from ordering food from here occurred when an employee accidentally gave away my entire order to someone else while I was waiting at the restaurant for my order. Someone was supposed to bring it out to my car since they were short staffed and trying to get caught up with the orders. No problem, right? After waiting between 20 and 30 minutes passed the original pick-up time with two impatient small children, one being a baby, I had to call to see what the hold up was. It turned out that they gave away my order!!! I had to speak to a manager because the employee insisted that my order was given to me. They ended up giving me two vouchers for complimentary orders and remade my order. I'm still a bit disgruntled about it! Why do we eventually find our way back despite our negative experiences? Well, the food is really good and that famous McAlister's tea is absolutely amazing. It's really awesome when they get everything right. It is a bit on the pricey side, so that's another drawback. I have had two bad experiences here. The first was when they served me expired chips with my meal. Turns out, all of the chips were expired. Decided to give them another chance since the manager apologized. Came back and our order was wrong. We asked for no Mayo and paid for avocado on one. That sandwich had Mayo and no avocado. Always been a fan of McAlister's. Unfortunately this location was the worst. We went in for dinner about 7PM. I ordered choose 2(half of BLT-A) and a spud and a bowl of broccoli cheddar. They bring my order. I asked for sour cream, they were out. I bit my sandwich, SUPRISE! NO AVOCADO ‍. So I ask the young lady at the counter, she said "oh I can get that for you" then comes back and says "Im sorry we are out of avocado". Customer Service was ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE, food was cold definitely not fresh(not sure how that happened when I was their only 2hrs after opening time) and our order was wrong, trying to even get them to fix it was like pulling teeth. McAlister's is known for their tea, if the restaurant is empty explain to me why you DO NOT HAVE sweet tea. I have only been to this location a few times, every time has been something, I would be very understanding the other times, this time I've had it. This was our first dine in visit at this location. Store appeared mostly clean and well kept. A kitchen employee at the window kept fidgeting with his mask and handling the food at the order window. The problem I experienced was with the avocado. The picture should speak for itself with the brown and dark avo. What you can't see is the hard long pit or peel that was left in. I didn't eat it obviously. That made the sandwich 1/2 smaller. I had a whole lot of bread and a few slices of Turkey. Bummer. read more

As others say this is a very hit or miss place to order from. I was thrown off when I ordered my food online and it wasn't ready. The worker took a while to get mine together. I ended up spending $30+ on it and had to drive to pick it up and when I got home I realized they left off my dressing for my salad. I couldn't eat it because I had none of my own to use. Thus, having me to get back in my car and go pick some up from the store myself. What a waste. What is sad is it never even seems busy inside. Whewwwww!!! Let's talk about TRASHHHHH restaurant! Let's see we had to return one of our sandwiches at LEAST 6 times because they could not seem to comprehend how to make this thing.
