I meet the requirements for the rider to cover the meds. I have spoken to member services and Optima RX, the billing company, that confirmed I am supposed to be covered. Yet the pharmacy won't bill them and still insist I need to pay $730. No one in pharmacy or appeals is retuning my messages. I only get rude emails saying that it's not covered. I will continue to take it- but I want someone to explain to me how some managers say it is covered and some pharmacists say it's not! Why do I pay for insurance if Kaiser won't honor it?

I can see the issues with hold times and some waiting times in the actual office, but it hasn't been too unreasonable and I am hopeful I don't experience those issues going forward. It only took one appointment at Salem Health and Dr. Card and I was diagnosed on the spot with a prescription for treatment within an hour! Dr. Henry is amazing and currently works with both my husband and I. She is stright forward about things and has a kind way about her. She is quick to reply on mychart and place orders and is very knowledgeable. There have been times under her care in wich we needed to outsourse to a separate clinic and the transition has always been smooth. The office itself is close to my house and the front desk and security staff are super nice and helpful!!

I was in a complete autistic shutdown/burnout and they had not a clue. So, I walked about 10 feet and nearly fell but stumbled back to my bed. They need to do better though, even though -- yes I am alive.

They recently moved away from the more universal Mychart and implemented their own version. What a nightmare that has been. They lost records and I can't even work with them. I decided to start using a private lab because they offer substantialy more tests for significantly less money. Why should I be forced to use their lab? I assume they didn't like this because they absolutely refuse to load the results into their version of Mychart, despite me calling many times and providing them the results twice. I mailed them and delivered in person because they refused to accept them electronically or download them from the lab. Last visit they told me at least three times they are a business and eventually refused to see me as a patient. Keep in mind I owe them nothing so it is not a billing or payment issue. Go anywhere else if you can. They are horrible.

I moved to Oregon after I retired and was sorely disappointed to have to wait so incredibly long to see a physician. I do want to say that the physicians I have seen are great, but inaccessible. They also have a lot of gate keeping by staff. I went to urgent care at the Lancaster location and waited five hours to see a doctor. Even though I have cost effective benefits as a KP retiree I'm seriously considering switching to another healthcare agency when open enrollment begins. I do not recommend Kaiser in the Salem area.

They then sent the pre-authorization for the wrong imaging center so I had a referral for one clinic and a pre-authorization for a different one. I'm still having issues getting them to bill my insurance correctly as I have not received an EOB yet for services done in July. I went in for a blood draw and the medical assistant hadn't prepped supplies before drawing my blood so I sat there holding pressure with a piece of the sterile prep surface while they searched for a cotton ball in a supply closet. Lastly I go to review information and no one had seen or even verified they had access to my MRI they ordered and I had to pull up the results in my phone. They then proceeded to blame the inflammation I'm experiencing on my HRT but with no information other than, "it can do that." I'm just shocked at how bad my experience was. Nothing went right. I was even told I would get a call back from the corporate group regarding issuing a complaint but they have not reached out and every time I call they're in a meeting and unable to discuss. Edit: ten months ago I was told that my bill was being waived due to my experiences with this office. Now a year later they are sending me a bill. Better, since it's over a year since my first date of service it would not be possible to submit to insurance if I wanted to. Every single stage of dealing with this office has been mishandled.
