Our 20 year old backyard water future developed a major leak recently. We called Antonio & asked if he could come out immediately to determine if he could repair it quickly. He came by that same afternoon & after a short discussion, we gave him the job. He thought it could be done in a day or so, and gave us a quote based on that. Unfortunately, the leak was caused by unseen intruding roots from nearby plants which poked multiple holes in the liner over time. This became a very difficult operation requiring a complete tear-down, stone removal, much digging & eventually installation of two liners. I would guess Antonio & his crew spent an extra two or more days working on it to make sure it was done right! When it was all over, he only asked to be paid what he originally quoted, but we gave him extra as we felt he & his crew earned it. He and his employees were all reliable, professional, courteous & timely. We subsequently hired them to replace river rock in a landscape "dry river" we had originally installed with the water feature. Our previous landscaping company barely started the sod and sprinkler project and made excuses for the delay. After I provided a down payment he immediately came the following business day and got it completed in less than 24 hours. His crew was very efficient and after they were done, they cleaned the area of mud and debris and left a great looking lawn and repaired sprinkler system. Our yard was quite overgrown so we asked Salinas Landscape to do a spring yard cleanup. They pruned trees away from the house, removed a dead tree, cut down a volunteer sapling, and pruned bushes. They also weeded flower beds, a garden space, and walkways. They cleaned up and removed all the brush. They actually did more than I expected, mowing, edging, and blowing away remaining fall leaves. The crew worked a full day. When they realized some sprinklers had been broken while they were working, they immediately fixed them. My project consisted of removing 1500 sq ft of lawn sod, hauling it away, delivery, preparation and leveling new top soil, followed by new sod installation. A Salinas crew arrived last week and we are thrilled with the results. They tackled everything on our list: removing gravel from the beds, weeding, pruning many shrubs, transplanting 3 shrubs to new locations, planting several new shrubs (including 2 large evergreens) and mulching the beds. They also removed 2 large shrubs that had become a major problem (wrong plant/wrong place!) which required digging up lots of sucker growth. I would hire these guys again in an instant. They were professional, fast, and were able to help with additional tasks related to getting the garden setup. They moved nearly 60 cubic yards of mulch and compost over the course of 2 days (11 hours in total).
