From the moment you step into the restaurant until you leave you are provided a nice dining experience. The service staff were friendly and helpful, explaining dishes with enthusiasm and truly enjoying themselves as well. So much attention to detail every step of the way. We tried several appetizers, pasta dishes and desserts! Everything was delicious! We are looking forward to returning! Also, I encourage everyone to get the specials of the evening-- those dishes were the standouts for our table!

You get another chance Tuesday through Sunday at noon to snag a cancellation, which is easier in my opinion. The pasta bar isn't the typical bar you'd imagine. You're seated at the place they actually make the pasta looking at a wall with pasta making tools. You do sit side-by-side, but we found it spacious and quaint. The service there is phenomenal. They're courteous, friendly, and helpful at explaining and answering any questions. The peppadew peppers were recommended to us, but we did not enjoy it. They ended up removing it from our bill, which we thought was nice. We didn't ask for it or request it, but our waitress felt guilty since she recommended it to us. The fried squash blossoms have a very light tempura style frying with a ricotta mixture inside. It was a bit too much cheese for us, but it was still good. The tagliatelle was good, but the vegetables in it were a bit strange. You don't really expect a crunch with your pasta. What I really didn't like about the dish was the black pepper. I'd randomly bite into a black pepper and it was overpowering. The lemon panna cota was tasty with the strawberries and cookies. The highlight was the Nutella cream puff pastries. It was delicious and light. Highly recommended! It was a wonderful experience, but the food was just good, not knock your socks off amazing. It's great to see how fresh everything is, just wasn't our taste.

I feel like service could've been a little better. My refill was quite slow but overall service was decent-good. Food... was great but missing a little element here and there (personal opinion). Man, I love the calamari here but it just needs a little seasoning. For the Wagyu, the steak wasn't rest long enough before it was cut (not a big deal) and I personal find potatoes to not complement the steaks well due to both item was quite greasy and oily. I think the steak would've pair better with perhaps mashed potatoes? They nailed the tiramisu (nothing to say about that). Again, food was great. those nick pick just my opinion what would take what I had tonight to a next level. Overall, really nice place for hangout, date. Great food and great people! I will be back to try others dishes.

We came here with a couple of friends on a Sat night…read more TDLR: would definitely recommend this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food tasted great, and our server Tania was terrific. I think we may have had an off-night on how they handled our reservation. If it weren't for that, I'd give them a 5! Food: I got the Pappardelle, my wife got the fettucine. Both were among the best we've tasted in Dallas, even compared to our current favorite Roman Cucina. We've been told to also order the brick oven half chicken and the duck, which we'll come back for. Drinks: well presented. The old fashioned had the spherical big cube, and was on the sweet side. My wife had the passion fruit juice, which had very strong flavor (preferred...you can always water it down if you need to). Ambience: beautiful & posh inside. Elegant casual outside. Once you're in, it's hard to remember that you're in a shopping center - everything from the entrance to the restrooms have a beautiful aesthetic. Service: We had a reservation indoors, but when we got there (on-time), we were told there was a 15-20 min wait unless we were willing to sit outside. It was a little bit before prime time, so we were a little surprised. We ended up taking the outdoor seating, and the weather got a little too chilly after sundown. On another day, this would have been perfectly fine (or maybe preferred)...but we figured the point of a reservation was to have the seat we wanted if we showed up on time. That said, Tania (our waitress) was great - humorous, attentive, open with her feedback on the dishes (it was our first time). All in all, a solid recommend for Italian food in N Dallas!

On the way, we were looking at the places we were passing and saw Bella Vita. We passed by but decided to turn around and take a look. What a great decision! This is a fantastic find, great Italian food in a place you might not expect to find it. We were greeted warmly and were seated promptly. It was not a loud place - you could talk across a table with no problem. Sammy (Sammie?) was our server and was very attentive to our questions and requests. She brought out some warm home-made garlic topped rolls that could have made a meal - they were wonderful! We started with a mixed drink that was very good, then had fried calamari that was very well done and delicious. We had a nice large salad that was served on a chilled plate. Next, our entrees arrived. While they have a lot of choices, we both picked the Tony's Special, which has shrimp, spaghetti, spinach, marinara sauce, wine and mushrooms in it. It was also incredible but was too much to eat - we could have split the plate and been full. No problem - we just got a travel box and decided we'd have the rest for lunch the next day (we did have it after the fishing trip and it was still great). With that decision made, we ordered dessert. My wife had tiramisu and I had cheesecake. Both were very good and the cheesecake was so creamy and perfect I couldn't believe I was in Kingston, OK. Sammy checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. We had a great experience at Bella Vita and highly recommend this restaurant. It will be our go-to place for all trips near Kingston.

We walked in expecting a simple Italian meal, but the aroma of fresh garlic filling the dining room told a completely different story. This wasn't frozen, reheated Italian food. This was a kitchen putting love on every plate. The homemade garlic knots arrived first, and they were massive, pillowy, buttery, and loaded with fresh garlic. The kind of appetizer that makes you rethink your entire order because you're already impressed. Then came the chicken parmesan. Crispy, perfectly cooked chicken smothered in a rich, robust marinara and blanketed with melted cheese that stretched with every bite. Pure comfort food done right. The fettuccine Alfredo was silky, rich, and balanced. Every forkful tasted fresh, handcrafted, and packed with flavor. Then our server, Hailey, brought out the Tony Special, and that's where things got serious. Perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and a depth that kept pulling us back for another bite. Some dishes are good. This one was unforgettable. And dessert? The tiramisu was light, creamy, coffee-kissed perfection. The New York cheesecake finished tableside was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Bella Vita isn't just a hidden gem. It's one of Oklahoma's best Italian restaurants that somehow nobody is talking about. Trust me, this drive is worth every mile.
