The store is small and doesn't have a great selection of products. I asked about two items that are very popular right now--"Morroccan Oil" (that's the name of the brand) and "It's a 10"--and for both of these items I heard the "we don't have that, but we have our own brand which is similar." I don't care about your brand--I want the one that has reviews on it from people who are pleased with it. But this isn't even why they get a one-star review. It's because every time I enter the store, the customer service is abysmal with the exception of ONE employee, who I'll mention in a minute. There's a girl with long hair in several colors. Each time I visit, she asks if she can help me, and then when I tell her "yes, here's the product I'm looking for," she then acts pained and uninterested in actually helping find it. For example, I asked specifically for a nail polish that's a base coat that will deliberately peel off in order to make it easy to remove a glitter polish that you put over that. Despite my describing this very clearly, giving the name of the polish, she took me over to OPI's nail polish FOR peeling nails. What? I had to reiterate what the purpose of the polish was and why I wanted it, and again she directed me to the polish for peeling nails. Another annoyance is that there's always at least one employee singing whatever song is going through her head. She's not just humming--she's belting it out. In the meantime, you have other employees who are stocking things and acting like you're in the way. If a customer is looking at a product, quit trying to bump them out of the way so you can put your stupid flat iron or hairspray or whatever on the shelf! There are always boxes all over the floor. I really have to wonder where management of this store is and is aware that his/her employees are acting so unprofessional and the store is a mess just waiting for someone to trip over all of the boxes. There is one exception to the whole employees-are-lousy thing here, and that is a guy whose name starts with F. I can't remember his name, only that it started with an F, and I think he's the only guy there. He helped me several times, and I sought him out a few times with questions. He never acted pained to help me, and he actually LISTENED to what I asked and did his best to help me find the things I wanted. When he said that if he were not around, any of the others could help me, I said something to the effect of, "You're the only one who acts like you want to help me," and he replied quietly that he had been there a long time, and that's why. Nah, he's just a guy who understands that we customers are the reason the company is in business and the employees get a paycheck. Management, if you're reading, seriously clean house with these people, keep the guy, promote him and give him a say in who gets hired because I hate coming to your store and probably wouldn't if it weren't for this ONE helpful employee who cares. read more

Love love love the customer service here! I came in wanting to try something different other than target box dyes so I was so clueless when I came in. I didn't catch the girls name but she was blonde, and had glasses on was SO nice and helpful! She was so knowledgeable on all the products and didn't pressure me into buying anything it really seemed like the genuinely wanted to help bc of how clueless I was! I was skeptical of the products only because I'm so new to it ( I wanted to achieve a very red hair but not so fake looking) and the colors she recommended were PERFECT! (original visit date: sometime in June) Long time yelper, very rare reviewer. And I must say that this is the go to place for me from now on. I've been here a couple times in the past but ever since Fermin helped me out, I know this is the sally's I want to go to from now on! He helped me out first thing I came in when normally it takes at least 15 minutes for someone from other sally's places (even this one that I went to a while ago). Most of the girls that would help me out just showed me a product and then leave and not really would engage in conversation. But for Fermin, he went further to explain certain products I was confused about and not only that, but he was really friendly. I have a Sally 5 minutes from my house but I drive 17 minutes just to go to this location just for everyone's service here. After being a blonde for a whole year of suffering to getting the products that I need to stay consistent, let me just say it's been a huge struggle for me to stay blonde. I've tried going red in the middle of being blonde and when I went to a few other Sally's they did not understand what type of red I wanted. First time trying I ended up with a very hot red and I hated it. After the red faced back to blonde and I felt like I needed to try again, going to this Sally's right off Yorba Linda Blvd one of the workers named Ashley, first off she is fucken beautiful and I loved her personality. As soon as I walked in she asked if I needed help and as my anxiety was kicking in, she helped with her positive and outgoing attitude which really helped me explain to her more of what type of red I wanted. She even explain different brands to me on what will help with my sensitive scalp and allergies. I knew deep down me that this is going to work and get to what I really wanted. I honestly can't stand how amazing their customer service is at this Sally's. As Ashley finished explaining to me what I needed, another worker named Allie made my experience so much better by being her beautiful bubbly self! She has such a beautiful personality. These girls work so hard and deserve to be known out here. If you go to this Sally's I recommend going to one of them. Oh, Did I forgot to mention how AMAZING my hair turned out? I've been meaning to write this for awhile! I went in a few days after dying my hair darker I was pretty shocked and wanted to get rid of it immediately. There were two ladies working there that helped me (I'm so sorry I can't remember their names!) one had greenish ends in her hair with glasses and the other had reddish hair. Let me tell you something these girls were SOOOO sweet!! They were so personable and talked me off the ledge from damaging my hair. They told me to try a few at home remedies first before using any chemicals and if I still wasn't happy to come back in a week. If you need to go to a Sally's, make sure you go to this one. The one in Orange pales in comparison to this one. My mom happens to live around the corner from the Orange location and she has frequently left that store upset (she goes more often than I do) so when I found myself needing to go yesterday, I was apprehensive about it after hearing her horror stories. There was no reason to be since I came to this location. The girls here are super friendly, super helpful, fun, and informative. I will definitely be coming strictly to this store and won't hesitate to go to a Sally's now. I've already told my mom to travel this way and go to this location instead. Even if it is out of the way for her, she was completely on board with the suggestion. That must tell you something about the difference in customer service seeing as to how she can literally walk to the other one. Normally when I go to Sally's Beauty I try to rush in and rush out, but after bleaching my hair a few times and not getting the tone I wanted, I went into this Sallys. Immediately I was greeted by Kathleen and she knew exactly what I was talking about when I told her about my hair issues. Today I went into Sally's Beauty Supply for the first time to look for some hair care products. I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for but when I entered the store I was greeted by Ashley. She asked if she could help me find anything & I told her that I'd like to look around a bit. I walked though out the store finding all kinds of great deals, things I hadn't planned in buying but the sales were just too good to pass up. I did end up asking Ashley for help with some hair conditioners and she suggested several products. When I was checking out Ashley suggested a few other items I may be interested in (which I was) and then asked if I'd like to join the Sally's Beauty Club? I absolutely joined because I was so happy with all the items I had found and the amazing prices that I will definitely be back!
