The girls here have always been nice and helpful. I decided to go red for Mother's Day, they helped me pick a color, we talked about maintaining the color.... I found what I couldn't find at Ulta. I haven't been to a Sally's in forever. Like from back in my Wet-n-Wild wearing days. I came here to look for something and there were a couple of people in front of me in line. I did ask a woman about a product and she helped me to find it. It was weird, because there weren't a lot of people in the store, but the checkout process was longer than expected. But the person helping me was quite nice. She actually went into the computer to find out if they had the item and where it was located. I was worried about purchasing and she told me that I could return the product if not satisfied. I'm satisfied, so that's not an issue. I don't know if I'll be back for anything other than the one product that I purchased. Actually, I'd probably call and ask for a hold or purchase to pick up. I'd hate to get all of the way out there and find out that it was on order or that they don't carry it any more. But for that one product, that I haven't found anywhere else, I'd come here for sure. read more

Meh so disappointed with Sally's beauty supply. I totally get we are living in the middle of a pandemic but I still need hair supplies. I'm not even talking about my clients hair I need supplies to do my own hair. The first disappointment was when they closed the Sally's near my house. Now I have to go out of the way to go to the next location and make an intentional effort to go and get what I need. I don't blame the staff because they are just following orders but even the shelves were empty at both of the nearest locations. I would order online but the online Sally's service sucks. You may pay for expedited shipping but the processing for the orders takes for ever! I guess if I didn't pay for expedited it might take a month to get your items. But the store is clean, organized and easy to shop. The many times I've shopped there, the employees are usually courteous and knowledgeable about the products in the store. Bought some clippers. It had hair in it when I checked it right after purchase. Went back trying to get an exchange , but was denied. Worker was cool, but manager wouldn't accept it. Everyone saw the hair. Wasn't trying to argue just wanted to simply buy my clippers and leave. They claim that it is brand new so what's the issue with swapping it out with the same exact clipper from the back. Didn't have the time or energy to waste on some dam clippers so here I am. I'm going with the consensus on Sally's Beauty Supply. I came in looking for a replacement blade for one of my mom's machines. As I walked in, there was no one on the sales floor. I had to walk each of the isles until I found the associate on duty, which I'm assuming is the manager everyone has mentioned. The associate was restocking an item and once she saw me, she didn't greet me, but kept working on her project and once I approached her, she threw what she was working on into a shopping cart. I'm sorry for being such a bother and wanting to spend money in your store. We headed to the front of the store, where the blade replacements are and I showed her the machine and she was of no assistance. Granted, I did not have all the information of the machine, but her idea of helping me was taking all the blade replacements off the wall and throwing them on to the counter. I pretended to look for the right one, but once I saw the prices I knew I'd be buying from Amazon or another online store. I realize I should of came with more information on my machine, but the real problem was the associate's (manager) attitude. I just watched the employees inside shopping for themselves & hanging out, while ignoring phone calls for "curbside pickup". Wont be coming here again. Guess ill head somewhere else! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! Called this Sally's earlier in the day to find out if they have any Denmans brushes in stock. The girl who answered said they didn't have any and only had big panel brushes. I specially asked her if she knew what I Denman brush was and she with a attitude said yes and they don't carry them. While driving to Target (which is right next door) I decided to stop in and see if they have the brushes. Not only did they have the brushes but they were in the very front of the store with BIG red tags on them and on the first aisle of the store! 7 line, 9 line, denman curl etc. they had almost every style. amazing experience! the website said the store was open but once I got there it was actually closed and only allowed curbside pick up. I was weary to do curbside because I dislike talking on phone but I was super satisfied! there was only one woman working (which may be why she was only doing curbside and not an open store) and she was really nice and kind! I don't know her name but I think she had orange/red hair? I was read a lot of comments on sally's instagram that people weren't able to get through on the phone and now I understand why you may not be able to. she stayed on the line with me the whole time I told her my order up until she handed me my products (so I'd say just keep calling!). From my personal experience, shopping at Sally is similar to shopping at Home Depot - you can't depend on receiving much help or advice from the employees. You either know what you are shopping for or have an idea of what you are looking for. I have been shopping at this Sally's for quite some time and I have been meaning to write a review to acknowledge an employee (Ellie). The few times I shop at this location while Ellie is working; she always greet me along with asking if she can help me find anything or need any assistance. As I mentioned earlier, I don't plan on going to Sally's for help or advice. Although the few times I have exchanged a few words with Ellie and expressed what I'm shopping for mainly hair color products. Ellie has been very attentive and helpful providing me with color tone suggestions to achieve or work on achieving the desired look/color. Ellie - Thank you for all your help and suggestions! Employees are rude AF not helpful at all!! I felt like I was irritating them with the questions I had about the clip in extensions as they were having a deep personal conversation. My bad bitches wtf are you getting paid for?? After writing this review I received nasty messages from the employees. I know my message wasn't very pleasant however I feel people should take ownership to their part in receiving a bad review. This is the fourth or fifth time here that they have failed to ring up a BOGO item properly, or have been out of an item that you are supposed to get as a freebie with another purchase. It looks like an intentional ripoff, at this point. As a fellow retail drone, I can sympathize with the ladies working here. They are overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated. Howevvvvver, I had a really pleasant experience! Yes, I wasn't greeted the second I walked in, and the customer waiting to be rung up had to wait a minute, but when I asked about exchanging color that I didn't use last time, I was given the green light. I left the product on the counter and continued with my shopping. I browsed around for a bit, and by the time I got back to the counter there was a new cashier. You could tell she was having a rough day, so instead of being like the majority of customers ( thinking the world should bend over backwards for you while kissing your ass) I decided to get her chatting. She was not extremely knowledgable, but super friendly. I did have my pro card on me, so I didn't have to deal with that whole situation. The store is clean, and reasonably stocked for such a small store, and the displays are neat and aesthetically pleasing. It's fine I suppose. If you've been to a Sally's you know what to expect. Alot of products for hair color, hair styling, hair removing, hair extentions, hair curling, hair hair hair... Plus nail supplies and some skin care supplies as well. You won't really find any name brands here, for example instead of biolage you will buy biotech in a familiar looking bottle. There is a table upfront that has deep discount items. My experience is that staff is not really friendly, didn't get greeted when I walked in. I picked up 2 colors from the Ion Brilliance collection and noticed there was a deal - buy one box of color and get a 4oz bottle of developer for free. There weren't any more 20vol 4oz developers left, so I asked someone in the store if I could get 1 bottle of the 8oz developer instead of 2-4ozs since I was buying 2 boxes of color. A very nice young woman with short blue hair (I think her name is Cherise) told me that in order to get the deal, I would need to get the 4oz bottles. I was disappointed, but then she said she would go to the back and see if they had any 20vol 4oz bottles left. They did, thank god! Walked in to buy a replacement blade for my friends 5-star senior razor. I asked the young lady behind the counter which is the correct blade. She handed me one with 3 holes. Apparently they come in 2 hole and 3 hole. Returned the blade with the store manager, and she stated all sales are final. Okay, first of all I think as store manager you should do 2 things: print a damn sign that says that, and also educate your employees to ASK which version I have next time. I wasn't aware there were 2 versions on the market. I understand all sales are final for blade due to hygiene, although mines was sealed. Also don't tell me it's the responsibility for the customer to know which blade is needed. Again this is why I ask. Overpriced anyways, got everything from Amazon. read more

I would give zero stars if could. Don't shop here the manager Christina is super rude. We arrived and waited in line like every other customer and of course we were more then the 4 customer limit which we were okay with not going in all together but she immediately said to split up because we are going to hold up the line. We did not mind waiting and letting others go ahead of us so we can shop in one piece. I was with teenage girls who knew nothing about hair dye and they need assistance which is why we wanted to go in with them to help them quick and be in and out. But no the manager was rude with a very condescending tone and made teenage girls go in alone and wander and end up buying things they did not need. My sister was in the store already so only helped one of our teenage relatives but our other two girls had no assistance. While my sister was in there in line to pay the manager also did not want my sister to even be close to our teenager. She said we can only ring up one person at a time which was obvious because there was only one cashier. They were just standing together in line !!!! Mind you there was no one in line behind them! My sister ended up paying all the items together because she felt so uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there. Our other two teenagers said they felt like they were followed by her around the store which is not appropriate and doesn't follow social distancing. Honestly this could have been handled better. If she would have let my sister in with our 3 teenagers all at once we would have been done shopping in less then 10 minutes. I work at a popular retail store which allows 20 customers in and if there is children with parents who want to go in together we make it work so they can shop all together. Why would the children go in first and then the adults or why would the children wait outside! She also was holding the door while customers go in which again does not follow social distancing because THE DOOR WAY IS SMALL !! No reason customers have to squeeze by her and be so close !!!!
