Just horrible of this Company!!! This company is taking advantage of the covid 19 pandemic and not allowing returns on items they recommend! Example: I purchased an item their personal recommended and have been using it for 4weeeks, my hair has thinned extremely and is falling out! Unbelievable! They said sorry your hair is falling out BUT due to covid 19 we're not accepting returns. What?!? This isn't a grocery store and I didn't over buy on shampoo, it's 1 bottle of junk that has caused me to lose my hair! The employees don't even understand their own specials? Saw a sign at the front of the store about an Ion bundle with choose your own hair color. I grabbed the color and asked the employee at the register to confirm everything in the bundle. She told me the hair color was additional, despite what the sign said. I even said, are you sure, that's not what the sign says? She's been there forever and should know. She didn't even offer to double check. I went on the website at home and the very first web page has the bundle which clearly says the hair color is included. I don't have time for this. read more

Customer service is really bad here. I wasn't even greeted hi. The first thing I heard was that if you don't have a mask, you have to leave. So unpleasant not friendly at all. They take this mask thing way too far. Soon, they'll be out of business because of their attitude; they will not be any customers. I will definitely let friends know not to go there. read more

Just a recommendation, NEVER order anything online from Sally's Beauty Supply. Amazingly, every order I get is missing the one thing needed for all the other products, and at that point, they charge the shipping rate because the order doesn't qualify for free shipping due to that one item not being available with NO notification. It's amazing though that the missing item becomes available when you have to reorder it separately and pay shipping once again. This has happened the last three times when the $35 minimum had already been met. They then send the other items to you anyway and just charge the shipping with no approval. Why would you want any items if the one thing needed for them all isn't "available?" I've been a loyal customer for over a decade. I will order directly from the manufacturer at this point. read more

CAN I GIVE LESS THAN A STAR! Where do I begin. I have been going to this Sally's for a super long time, like at least 10 plus years and the Same lady still working in there too. This is probably one of the only places I've seen in Yucaipa (of all places) that require a mask still, which is funny because any other time I have been in there recently, it's never been required. Anyways, the lady told me that I needed a mask, and for a place that is going to "require " them, should have them accessible yo their customers. She told me they didn't have any but that I was the only person in there shopping so I needed to hurry up and get what I needed and get out!!!! THENNN as I was checking out, she has the nerve to question where I work and she told me "that I of all people should KNOW that I NEED to be wearing one". Absolutely disrespectful and way out of line for her to be making comments like that. THEN two girls came in and she asked if they had a mask and they said no, so she literally Said "well you guys need to have one because I am trying to chase this one (me) out right now because she doesn't have one". Like I said, the disrespect is beyond me and the audacity to even make such unprofessional comments.... We've stumbled upon this place a few months ago. The service was great. There's alot i didn't know and the staff was very polite and knowlegeable. She showed me the deal they were having, and what to add to my hair without frying it for touch-ups. There was two staff members there.The lady that rang us out, suggested things we forgot (gloves). Which was very kind of her, she saved me from running around with purple hands. So thank you very much! ;) It was very clean, neat, and organized. I give this store 3 stars because they have what I need. Except the woman that I always encounter there is rude every single time I go in. The last time I went in for example: my name differs from my husband's and I was using his card to buy some products, the woman informed me that the name on my ID had to match the card. That understandable so I showed her my military spouse ID which has both our names on it. She still refuses to use my card saying "How do I know you and your husband aren't going through a nasty divorce and you're spending his money" seriously!! Wtf! Who says that?! A simple It's against store policy would have done. Needless to say I won't go back to this particular Sallys. read more

Have not been back in 8 months and will never again be back .Norma is a joke who works there . unprofessional is a under statement...long story short I went in with my 5 year old and friend . she continued to interrupt in my convo ,after telling her to mind her business more then once she proceeded to tell me in a yelling form she was gonna fight me right there in the store in front of my child and other customers whom were unsure if they should call cops or not. I've been in the area for several months now and didn't even know Sally was in this shopping center as there isn't a sign street side like Vons and Staples have. The manager(?) helped me locate the Orly Bonder that was right in front of my face. Oops. She was really friendly and helpful and the store was neat and organized. Terrible customer service at this Sally's. The workers including older lady that sounds like she might be the manager can't even greet customers as they walk in. They were all too busy gossiping about other employees and a late co-worker and how she lies on her time.... Yes I got all of that plus more because even in back of store you can hear everything. Very unprofessional... I grabbed what I needed and even at the register neither ladies said a thing except total. Nothing ... not even a good day or thank you... Very awkward store. Just went there last night to get some pomade and shimmer lights shampoo for my new pixie cut. There were only two sales people there, and I was helped as soon as I walked through the door. The associate helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and she seemed very knowledgable, which was great because I had no idea about anything! She also recommended their generic shimmer lights, saying it was just the same as the higher end brand, which I thought was pretty cool. I will definitely go again for future beauty needs. read more

I would give them negative stars if I could. Very rude and unprofessional employees. Paula and Betty are rude as @&$*. We always get treated good by every other employee except these two. They should learn from Lexi, what good customer service is. Lexi should train them on how to act like human beings. I Don't know what their problem is but they have one. Paula is the worst, she is bitter and her life sucks and maybe that's why she reflects that kind of attitude towards people. She needs to find a different job.
