This is my wife's favorite spot for Chinese food in Fort Collins! I must admit, it is really good. Don't be fooled by the gas station facade. We have been coming here for a while now, even before people started it figure out that it was the place to come. I thoroughly enjoy the General Tso chicken! It has a little bit of kick and the flavor is awesome! They are always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. The only complaint that I might have is that the tables are sometimes a little dirty, but it's usually because they are so busy and can't get out to wipe them off. The convenient store makes it easy to get a drink and then sit down for some quality Chinese food. We have often picked up to go, but sitting down for lunch is the best. Giving the 4 stars solely for the food. It is really good. Especially the fried chicken wings!!!! Had to deduct 2 stars because of the great lack of customer service and lack of cleanliness. Fantastic Chinese food! Fort Collins doesn't exactly have the best options as far as Chinese food goes, but this place knocks it out of the park. Don't be swayed by the fact that it is in a gas station - this place is amazing. We got delivery, and ordered orange chicken, cashew chicken, "something different", and eggplant with chinese delicacies with chicken. We were all very satisfied with our food. We have also tried the hot chicken with crispy spinach and the avocado ginger shrimp fried rice, and both of those are delicious as well. They deliver for free within a 5 mile radius, and add a delivery charge of $3 for anything further. It's difficult to find their menu online, but they are very helpful over the phone. The delivery was super speedy! Definitely give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Welp, checked one off my bucket list today: Eat Chinese food from a gas station. Must say, the prices were appetizing! We ordered off the lunch menu and got the Broccoli Garlic sauce and the Fried Bean Curd with Eggplant. $14 total. Good deal! First off, we were a bit thrown by the location but were up to the challenge. Chinese is our comfort food, and while you may not find comfort sitting inside, there are picnic tables out the side door. The food came quick and hot with friendly service. The portions were very generous and came with a spring roll and hot & sour soup. Both of which were delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the tofu was so juicy inside. The sauces were incredible and complimented the veggies perfectly. We opted to sit outside. Quiet with minimal traffic and no lingering smell of coffee from the gas station convenience store beside. All in all, wonderful value, very delicious food. Seasoned well and the flavor was out of the world. This is the type of Chinese food I wish I could find in Arizona. Good quality American style Chinese food. I ordered Singapore noodles with curry and chicken, it was made just the way I wanted it, with lots of curry powder on the noodles. Good sweet and sour chicken, typical preparation. Kung pao was really good, sauce was addictive. Cream cheese wontons delish. Fried gyoza was a favorite, my significant other claims they were some of the best he's had so there's that lol. I don't know why it took me so long to jump on the Sally's Kitchen bandwagon ... I mean, having grown up in the Bay Area hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurants really are my jam. However, for whatever reason I wasn't ever inspired to give Sally's a chance until I found out that the owners of Sally's were also involved with Taipan, which was one of my favorite pan-Asian spots (oddly, also in a weird location -- in the same "building" as one of the downtown parking garages, but a much more upscale experience than Sally's). I have since visited Sally's 3 times, and have to say that of all of the Chinese restaurants in Ft. Collins, Sally's reminds me most of the Bay Area style. I've tried some of my favorite dishes -- chow fun and eggplant in garlic sauce -- and found them to be up to my expectations. I'm a little sad that there isn't a house special chow fun, but I got it with beef and it was pretty darn good -- the beef was tender, just enough sauce (not goopy at all), and not too oily. The eggplant dish included nice big pieces, tender but not disintegrating into mush. I had crispy tofu with the eggplant -- all the better to sop up the garlic sauce. I've also tried the ginger avocado fried rice -- not something I've ever seen in a restaurant, but reminiscent of the way my mom would make "clean out the refrigerator" fried rice with whatever odds and ends she had around. That's probably not the most enticing description, but trust me it's good! I kind of feel like pricing is a little high, but I'm probably comparing it to my hole-in-the-wall expectations from 20 years ago. The good news is that portions are generous, so it's still a good value. I will definitely continue to work my way through the menu here. read more

Loved it. Was a little apprehensive when it was inside a gas station but glad I gave it a try! The food was fresh and the egg drop soup was on point. NO JOKE. Sally's Kitchen is literally the best Chinese food place in the Loveland/Fort Collins area. Everything I've ever ordered from here (at least a minimum of 20 times) has been made perfectly. Deep fried items are crunchy and don't feel mushy or full of bread filler. The sauces and flavors are always on point! I love their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and sour chicken, generals chicken and orange chicken. Sally always takes my order and she is super nice. Also the other lady who's taken my order was also very cheery and nice. I think they like working there. No one ever has the look of "when is my shift over." lol This place may be connected to a gross looking gas station but their food shines! Also if you look closely at the kitchen their cooking in you can tell they keep it clean and up to code. I love their Sesame Chicken! Its so tasty! read more
