Oh shit friends this is good asian/chinese food, I did have to wait 25 minutes to get my order but they were really busy so it was understandable. There was such a shit ton of food, I ordered way too much food but in my defense I had no idea it would come in such great quantities but hey it was my first time there. There is somewhat of a language barrier there because they're all asian folks that work in there plus the stupid ass masks dont help but they saved everything with the tastiness. The placement of the restaurant is so misleading, they have hands down some of the best Chinese delivery for anyone living near Harmony road. It was very okay, nothing too special. But that doesn't mean the food was nasty, it was good in an okay average sort of way. The chicken had a bit too much breading so it kinda had a doughy chicken taste. The sauce they used was pretty good, I wish it stuck on more. Fried rice, super good! Best thing about here. I've ordered the Chinese American classics like the general tsos chicken & sweet and sour chicken but they also serve up some really interesting Cantonese styled ones too like the garlic eggplant dish. The techniques they use to make the food is what sets them apart from a mediocre takeout restaurant. The food tastes great because they follow solid cooking techniques and they have amazing recipes. The ginger avocado fried rice was A-MAZ-ING!!! Thank you fellow yelpers for talking about that entree. This dish is the kind of food you eat very slowly in small forkfuls because you don't want to reach the last bite. Flavorful, unique, absolutely delicious. Hubby commented that the food at Sally's seems fresher than his usual go to Chinese take out. We shared the above mentioned fried rice and an order of spicy chicken and shrimp. The kiddos ordered set and sour chicken and general tso's chicken. We were all happy. Pricier meal for my family a five, especially when u add on spring rolls but we all had leftovers to enjoy the next day, so not so bad overall. Bottom line: come, you'll be glad u did. P. S. My starving teenage son was impatient with the wait for his food. It was longer than at the place he's used to. This is why I love Yelp. I wouldn't have found Sally's without them. Excellent food. We had hot and sour soup with our to lunch specials. The soup was delicious and it was both hot and sour, something that most restaurants forget. The soup was slightly pureed with nice bits of tofu and veggies floating in it - not as chunky as many versions. The lunch specials we ordered were the beef chow fun and the eggplant with beef. The eggplant was my favorite by far, but the chow fun was delicious. Fried rice that came with the eggplant, made me think I was on Iron Chef Japan. I wanted to use the words gentle and soft and homey. It was a superior version to what is served at many take Chinese restaurants. The Shanghai spring rolls that came with a meal looked like the pallid cylinders you often see at third rate Chinese restaurants. But no, that was not true in this case. They had a nice flavor. True, they were not the spring rolls you find at a great dim sum emporium. But they had integrity. I hope to come here again. The menu has many exciting things to try. read more

This instantly became our favorite place for very casual asian cuisine. It's inside a gas station store so you may not even notice it. The furnishings are simple and the atmosphere is like a sub shop. You definitely don't need to worry about dressing up to go there. The menu is surprisingly complete with all of the favorites from sweet and sour soup to moo shu pork. I have never had such tender meat from an Asian restaurant. Everything we tried rated from good to great. They have a great selection of lunch specials that include soup and a spring roll for a very reasonable price. So far there we haven't encountered long wait times at lunch but dinner can take a while to be served due to the high volume of take-out business. The entrees are cooked to order so it's hot and fresh when it arrives. Portion size is just right for a hungry man-sized appetite so bring your appetite or bring a friend.
