They aren't really able to handle complicated nail designs, but they give a killer mani / pedi. I came here a few weeks ago and I loved the place. Sally's Spa was clean, beautiful and chic, so why not 5 stars? I got a pedicure and everything was going well until the staff accidentally cut my toe when she was trimming the side of my toenail. My toe started bleeding and while I knew it was an accident, it shows that the staff was not experienced. She apologized and said that my nail was difficult to cut, which I accept and understand but I've also done pedicures at other places and was able to leave without a bleeding toe. My friend got a foot massage and while nothing was wrong, he said that it was more of a foot-touching rather than a massage. The price was not worth it and if he wants a foot massage in the future he would not come back here. I wanted to love this place, I really did, but I am now afraid to go get pedicures because this experience was a bit traumatizing for me. Please please practice and be more careful in the future! read more

I always get a dip manicure and it can be hard to find a place in the bay that does them. After searching Yelp I thought I found one close to home, I was wrong. I recommend making an appointment especially if you want to come in on a weekend. The salon itself is gorgeous and clean! All of the technicians were kind. I sat down to remove my dip and when I asked for the colors to choose from they stated they didn't have any colors specifically for dip but they gave me a wheel to choose from. Confused, I went along with it and quickly learned they do NOT do a dip manicure. They used a clear dip base on the bottom and gel on top. No massage, lotion or clean up of acetone/powder was done. They moved me to the pedicure chair and the pedicure was fine but nothing special. The scrub they used on my legs had a long black hair in it. You couldn't miss it in the yellow scrub as it was placed on my leg. I informed the technician and she did nothing about it, I removed it myself. I wasn't offered a callus remover or any other options even though I would've loved it! No massage was given and no lotion was applied. I wasn't offered help putting my sandals back on either. I guess you have to pay an extra $15 for a 10min massage and lotion. I wasn't given that option but that is what I overheard. I paid $95 total for my pedicure and "dip" manicure not including tip. If you want quick, no very frills and just need some color on your nails this place is good. Just make an appointment. I won't be back though. read more

Really pretty, new, and clean spa. I easily made a same day appointment for a pedicure by calling in. Parking is metered. My nail tech did a good job and my toes look great. However, it was one of the quickest pedicures I've ever had. I was in and out of there in half an hour. Other pedicure places I've been to charge a little less but also spend some time massaging your feet or applying paraffin wax. They did a super quick massage and briefly used a hot stone and that was it. On both their website and Yelp it states that the pedicure is $32, however they charged me $35 even after I mentioned that their online price says $32. A $3 difference is not a big deal but it is misleading, so I hope they at least change their online menu and Yelp answer. Overall, the ladies are really nice and the salon is gorgeous, clean, and follows COVID guidelines. But it definitely was not a 'spa' experience and more of a quick stop to get my nails done. read more

Secret charges add for dumb things, they used their electric nail filer to file off small pieces of gel left from my last pedicure, took less than 5 seconds, they charged me 10 dollars. Well, after a year of no manicures (other than the crappy ones I gave myself at home)... I finally ventured out to this spot. So glad I stumbled upon Sally's. Michelle did my nails and did a fantastic job on my gel mani. I have very dry cuticles and always run the risk of bleeding when I get them trimmed but I was in good hands here... no bleeding! Yay! Michelle took her time on my gel mani. I had a really pleasant experience. Given Covid, i appreciate the precautions taken. Temperatures taken at the door. Masks required. Bad mani/pedi. So bad that I removed all the uneven nail polish (no top coat) and had to recut my nails (barely cut and filed half haphazardly) and cuticles (not push back). The women working at the spa don't seem to take there work seriously. No attention to detail, cutting corners, and paying more attention to socializing. There are so many options in the area. Choose another salon, trust me. The owner seems to be really nice, but she's unable to supervise everyone that works there and their work product. I wanted to like the place. The space is really nice and airy, the owner is nice, the workers are also very nice, but the actual mani/pedi subpar and definitely not worth the $55. I could have done a better job at home. Since the pandemic, I have refrained from posting any negative reviews, because I wanted to support business owners, and understand how hard it is to find good personnel. This experience is just so below an acceptable level that I wanted people to know. That way you don't feel ripped off like I do right now. read more

Great service. Fast and efficient. Skip on a hot day. I loved the atmosphere and loved the lady who did my pedicure. She was quick but through and very efficient. They gave me a ring of nail colors and I wasn't really that fond of the selection, so I told her what I wanted and voila, she made it happen. Only downside to my pedicure that day was the HEAT. It was so hot inside the salon, I felt like I was in a sauna. They had some windows and the front door open but no breeze at all. I know this isn't the salon's fault, but they should have at least tried with some fans. Parking was a breeze. They have metered spots out front (don't park in the green spaces, they're only 28 mins) and there is also a paid lot about one block over. It was practically empty when I went around 5pm. The meters in the lot also stop running at 6pm. read more

I came in to get my gel x removed and the people were nice but the service was horrible. The person over filed my nails making them paper thin. My nails have been throbbing ever since, any touch or pressure to the nails is excruciating. During my service, there was a point where I pulled my hand away because of the pain and was reassured it was the gel she was removing. I have never felt that kind of pain in my nails before so I said to leave whatever "gel" was left on my nails in order for her to stop drilling at my nails. She made a comment that my nails were thin which I take to be her doing because the couple nails I asked her to leave are not thin. Later after examining my nails I can confirm that she drilled too deep into my natural nails. When I pulled back my cuticles there was a very apparent dip/ indentation from where my natural nail are to where she over drilled/filed my nails. She also drilled into my skin as you can see on my middle and ring finger in the image. As mentioned before the people were nice but I will never come back. I can only speak for the service I had which was nail removal and would NOT suggest others to get this done here. I get my nails done pretty often (at other places of course) and have never experienced this much pain and sensitivity in my nails. To Sally's Spa: Please train your nail tech better. If other establishments can remove my gel while keeping the integrity of my natural nails then it surly can be done here as well. read more

Came in to pamper my daughter for her birthday and treat her to an acrylic mani-pedi. We were separated during the appointment. This was my daughter's first acrylic treatment and when we were done, they had put acrylic and gel on her hands and my card was charged $132 for her nails. They took a really long time on her nails and when they were done, they had forgotten that she was getting a pedi too and rushed her through. This was our second time here, really enjoyed it the first time and that's why we came back. I wish that they had communicated better on prices. I don't like feeling rushed and my mani-pedi felt that way too. We'll be going elsewhere for next time. read more

Disappointing. Expected such a better experience after seeing the reviews. Sloppy, rushed, and bubbly gel polish. Everyone was nice, but felt rushed and the cuticle pushing process was a little intense. I left with polish on my hands, and acetone on my toes the tech squirted and didn't care to wipe off and said "you're done". The gel has weird grooves and bubbles. This place has potential but it just ain't it. It wasn't busy, so no need to rush. read more
