He doesn't run a walk-in shop like some other PC repair places. Therefore you have to call and make an appointment, or text him to communicate. He does take credit card payments online. He's fairly knowledgeable about PCs and repairing, so you can count on his expertise. If you need to replace any of the parts, keep in mind that there are additional costs to order and install the parts (as expected), so you need to consider the value of repairing the machine as opposed to buying something new. Since my machine ended up being old, the cost of repair wasn't worth it. It was however, a benefit for the peace of mind that nothing else could be worked on so I didn't have to waste any further time. Overall, I do recommend Richard for his services.

Inside, there were large screens posting info about their vast services (don't judge them about the extra "L" in the word "follow"--they're going to fix it. It's not nearly as noticeable as when a Chinese menu has the word "shrimps" on it.) I was greeted by Charles, who looked very smart--and not just because he was wearing glasses. I told him about my dilemma--my new Hans Solo in carbonite case didn't protect my phone from a fall and phone back itself cracked. I attribute it to the fact that Hans was in carbonite. If his hands and legs were free, I'm sure Hans would have been able to shoulder-roll onto the floor. After some entertaining banter, I left Hans in good hands with Charles. I was given an initial quote and an ETA. He even called me partway through to tell me that he tested my phone parts in other phones and other parts into my phone to see if he could isolate the issue. Awesome. I was just thinking he would see the part was broken and replace it--but he went above and beyond at no initial cost. When he called later, he sounded apologetically grim: My motherboard was damaged. The motherboardin' motherboard. A death sentence to something replaceable like an iPhone. Apple had told me that my phone could be upgraded for $150 (but I'm waiting for the Fiiiiiiiiiive!) so I'm going to wait until I can't tolerate not talking on the phone. This may be a good time for me to work on my ESP skills anyways. Even more amazing, my final bill was less than HALF the original quote that I was given. And it wasn't the lower bill that blew me away, it was the goodwill behind it. I felt the love *fist pump* So in conclusion, this is the place to be. Looked them up here on yelp, read the reviews, and called them to make sure they seemed normal. I dropped off my iPhone, picked it up a couple of hours later, and it was perfect!
