King Crab Avocado Roll, Oshinko Roll, Bomb Roll(fried lobster, kani wrapped cucumber)
    Amanda W.

New sushi place on bay street by the top tomato plaza. Clean bathroom and good amount of indoor dine in tables. King crab avocado was disappointing, it was just reg crab meat. ($8) Bomb roll ($14) is fire, love the freshness of cucumber wrap. Tempura lobster is good and crunchy. The sauce it comes with is amazing. Blend of spicy mayo and Some dark sauce u gotta mix. Oshinko roll is crunchy good regular. (4$) Looking forward to trying more of their rolls (spicy shrimp avo shrimp tempura etc).

Any 3 Rolls Lunch Special: Philadelphia Roll, Eel Avocado Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll

Delicious and fresh sushi that comes in good portions! We ordered the lunch special 3 rolls that come with both the miso soup and salad. The spicy salmon, eel avocado, and Philadelphia roll was so delicious!! The tempura bento box came with a variety of tempura pieces (shrimp, sweet potato etc), dumplings, California roll, and rice. They give you tempura sauce. The chicken pad Thai was good, I wish we had more sauce. Affordable! 3 items were $36.69 after tax (lunch special/pick up). The highlight would be the sushi! Kind staff and beautiful decor. Credit and cash accepted. Free delivery minimum $15.

Awesome place to get sushi on the island! Large fresh pieces, not too much rice. If you order from Monday- Saturday 12-4PM they have a lunch roll special for any three rolls for $12-14 (depending on where you get it, I usually use UberEats). And it comes with a soup AND salad. Greatttt deal, I order from here at least a couple times a month on my day off. They also have bubble tea, the classic with the pudding is my favorite. Ubereats does a BOGO for some of their stuff like the California Roll and Dragon Roll, and it makes it really worth it. Give this place a try! Havent had a bad experience yet.

I order from Salmon Sushi at least once a week. In the past week, I ordered delivery twice. Today sat down like a lady to eat alone. Sooo good and fresh! A+ service.

Intimate seating, as per usual omakase dining experiences, with only ten seats. Ambiance is quiet,…read morenot super formal but we felt we had to keep our voices down. Cocktails were a reasonable price, they do not offer wine, and many sake options. Most are quite pricey, but the warmed sake was $28 for a carafe. We got two and split it between the three of us. They warm it in the microwave, which I thought was slightly awkward, as the microwave was in the main dining area, near where some of the alcohol was stored. Our dining experience started off with three appetizers. They were interesting but not quite that flavorful in my opinion. The sushi coming out after we're much nicer. I especially liked the pickled vegetables on top of a few of the pieces. I mentioned in my reservation that I was a pescatarian and as they only asked for food allergies before they began and not preferences/dietary restrictions, I did not mention it. I wasn't offered anything instead of the wagyu piece so I ended up giving it to my friend. They were, however, very mindful of my friend's shrimp allergy. Bill ended up being $136 for the 16 courses plus the drinks, tax and tip.

He made sure throughout that we are good. The staff never stops refilling my tea. We were about 10 mins late due to traffic and the chef waited for us to start!! Thank god there was meter parking next to the restaurant. All the pieces and starters were super fresh. My favorite was the Hokkaido scallop, Wagyu, and striped jack. The soup with scallop, seaweed, and mushroom really warmed me up and was perfect before we started with our pieces. We ended with coconut panna cotta with red bean paste hand roll for additional price ($22). Overall, what a great experience and delicious meal. Definitely coming back again!!

Solo Brunch Experience: Clean Atmosphere, Mixed Flavors…read more I visited Sakura for brunch recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the restaurant was exceptionally clean and spacious with plenty of seating. Since I visited during brunch, it was quite empty, which made for a quiet meal, though it did feel a bit pricey for a solo diner. The Food: Chicken Winng-ers! The were the winners, here. Chicken wings: were easily the highlight of the meal. They arrived crispy and super hot, as if they had just come straight from the kitchen. Sushi: The sushi was okay--decent enough, but not particularly memorable. Disappointments: Unfortunately, several other dishes didn't quite hit the mark. The lobster was far too salty to eat, the ribs were dry and lacked flavor, and the fried scallops were very greasy. Service: I found the staff to be not the friendliest during my visit, which added to the overall "blah" feeling of the food. While this specific meal wasn't for me given the price point (around $28.99 for the buffet), I appreciated the cleanliness of the space. I'm always happy to support local spots, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more consistency in the food quality. Lobster & Ribs: "I struggled with the ribs being dry and the lobster being too salty to eat. For those who visit often, is this a common issue, or did I just catch them on an off day?"

Not a bad deal for $29 during holidays, they have ginger scallion lobster. The place is roomy but…read morevery limited on their food selections. Surprisingly the sushi was very limited as well with a lot of rice. Their sashimi was not fresh so I would opt out of it. Cold appetizers were not bad and I was surprised they didn't have a regular salad bar like most buffet would. This one also does not have a hibachi station compared to its competitors on the island. Parking is challenging but they do offer 2 hours free parking at the lot if you have 4 or more people and only during dinner time. The lobster was not fresh and the meat was mushy. Snow crab legs were good. Overall, I think they have to work through their selections and frequency on refilling their food as there is a few options on the island with an abundance of options.
