I found Erron at Salon Blissful about a year and half ago now. She completely changed the way I felt about my hair and gave me a whole new confidence. Since I have been seeing her my hair has never been so healthy and pretty. Not only is she very talented, she make all of her guests feel like they are her favorite guest. She never double books her guests. She spends time with them getting to know them and understanding who they are as person not just head of hair. I've been unbelievably happy and blessed to have met Erron. I recently got married this passed November, and I wanted nothing more than for Erron to do my hair. Problem was my wedding was taking place in Virginia. I was so nervous to ask her, but I figured a better ask anyway just in case she may want to travel to do my hair. Sure enough, I asked, and she was so excited to come do my hair. I knew exactly what I wanted to I didn't think anyone in my home town could do what she does for my hair. Erron flew to Virginia to do my hair and the wedding parties hair. She was unbelievably professional and so efficient. I hear about all these girls that have to get up at 6am to start doing hair. Erron is so fast that we were able to sleep in a little and leisurely move through each person's hair. She is such an awesome person and fit right in with everyone. She just gets in there and is one of the girls. Erron did my hair last, and it was absolutely stunning. She did exactly what I wanted. She couldn't have done a better job. She made my wedding hair dreams come true. During the first look and all the photos, Erron was right there. She had her hair spray and bobby pins ready to go tackling all the fly away hairs. She made sure my hair was perfect. She even did touch up on all the bridesmaids and flower girls right before the ceremony. It was great. Everyone's hair looked so good. I was so happy I decided to ask her to come for my wedding because she did an amazing job. Erron is still doing my hair and still being amazing. I went in about a week ago and threw her a curve ball. I was told her I randomly wanted a hint of red in my hair. I am the worst at explaining what I want, but somehow she new exactly what I wanted. Its like she reads my mind. I think its due to the fact that she learns her guests and their personalities. She knows exactly what they want and brings it to life. I have truly found my stylist for life. She absolutely amazing as a stylist and a person. You'll be thankful you chose her. read more

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. I showed my stylist 4 pictures and told her I didn't want it super dark. I wanted it natural looking with blonde front pieces. What I got was a dark auburn with no highlights unlike the pictures I showed and the blonde "money pieces" can hardly been seen. Not to mention I told her I part my hair down the middle and she bleached the front pieces as if it was a side part so now you can't see the blonde on one side of my head which is not what I wanted at all. I felt like I wasn't listened to all. I'm disappointed to say the least. I hoping it lightens up but I don't think it will. read more

I think I finally found my permanent salon. I was very surprised how quick I was able to get in for the first visit. I scheduled online Thursday and had an appt Friday. I was greeted from the moment I walked in, Heather S was my stylist she is great. I am sure I was not making it easy for her but I am super picky about my hair and as I explained what happened and what i was looking for she cut perfect , she explained what was possibly going on with my hair and it makes sense. I live in California and all our salons closed down a week before my appt. I was coming into town that weekend to visit my son and booked an emergency appt here, they got me in days before and they were so nice, so clean and sanitary and my stylist and haircut was amazing, I actually made another appt for next month as I don't see our salons opening back up and gives me more excuses to see come in town to see my son. Friendly, helpful staff! I went in for full single color to cover grays and even out my color; as close to my natural hair color as possible which is an ashy brown. My first visit it was warmer than I liked and they graciously offered to fixed it. The results are a bit darker than my natural color but my hair tends to fade a lot in the sun so I'm happy with it and love the ashy color! I would recommend this salon if you live in East Mesa. read more

I was eager to have something different done with my hair. I call and was able to get a next day appointment with Rachel. I was originally wanting a Caramel balayage done, however due to previous red color deposits my hair lifted slightly pink. Rachel did a GREAT job improvising recommending a red violet tone to hide the pink shade. I came out with something completely different than I expected but I absolutely love it! Update: I was offered to come in sooner but I unfortunately worked therefore had to wait a week. I received an Olaplex treatment and my hair does feel better however, I think my curls are gone, RIP. Grace was amazing! I absolutely love how my hair turned out! She was attentive and taught me a lot on how to treat my curly hair!

My stomach is in knots whenever I look in the mirror. I wish the result looked better. I went to the salon about a month ago to get my gray roots colored. I expressed to the stylist that my hair turns darker after coloring and whatever she is thinking is the right color, she should go one or tow level lighter. I explained about my previous experiences and emphasized multiple times that she should pick a lighter shade. Unfortunately she didn't take it serious and went with the color she had in mind, thinking I don't know s**t. Of course my hair turned darker at the roots than the rest and looks awful. I worked so hard to get it right and even had a color correction, and now much effort and money is wasted. After she washed my hair she was surprised/shock herself but kept mentioning that it will lighten up after a few washes. I knew that was not going to the case, after all I lived with this hair all my life, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited a month before I wrote this review. I've washed my hair multiple times since and there is still a major difference between the top two inches and the rest. It aches my heart but can't do anything about it except to get another color correction which is expensive. Sigh... Dear stylists please LISTEN to your customers, we are not as dumb as you think :( ***My favorite part of the visit: The salon is clean, the front office was professional and polite, they discuss the pricing in details before they do the work so there is not surprises. read more

But listen carefully, I have never had a stylist that not only is she an expert with color, she knows how to cut hair too! My stylist is Nicole. I absolutely love, love, love her! I went to her for blonde highlights, and my hair came out better than it ever has ever looked in my entire life! Nicole is sweet, she listens to what you want, she makes suggestions that are beneficial for healthy hair, and honestly, she is a Master Stylist! And why salon owners feel fine charging HIGH prices for mediocre work, I do not get. Until about a year ago, I never really cared about what my hair looked like - it grew, I got it trimmed, and that was really all there was to it. My roommate however, had been seeing Rochelle (who I can say, without exaggerating, is the most talented stylist I've ever met) for a while, and had started recommending her to my friends - after watching about three or four different people come away from this place with absolutely phenomenal haircuts, I had to try it out for myself. ...Needless to say, I was blown away. In the year or so that I've been frequenting Salon Blissful, my hair is the best it's ever looked. ANYTHING BUT "BLISSFUL" - DO NOT HAVE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME HAPPEN TO YOU!! Ti did my hair in March with highlights. I would have ranted and raved about the salon. Unfortunately, my roots were coming in and I needed to get my hair re-highlighted. I went back to Salon Blissful today, driving all the way from Goodyear. Clearly, passing numerous other hair salons on the one hour drive. Well, to my dismay, I should have just went closer to home. The grueling 8 hours of me being there resulted in the bottom pictures. I am still crying over this. I don't understand. The top of my head was all one color. The highlights were not even put all the way through. I do not understand what TI was thinking. I was told there was a misunderstanding in consultation. Well, as a professional, shouldn't you be aware of what your client wants? She was telling me what she was doing step by step and it was whag I wanted. Re-highlighting my hair. Apparently, she had her own agenda, considering I later found out she didn't use the same colors from the previous time in March!!! They don't write this down?? I was also ostracized by the two other girls that work there. Krystin had the audacity to talk about me on her cellphone behind the wall, while I was STILL in the establishment. Along with saying to Ti "take a picture, color correction" and proceeding to laugh about it. After calling Krystin out on this, to which she openly admitted talking about me (the salon's client), while still there, on the phone. She could have at least waited until I left, like she did with her last client. She clearly proceeded to trash talk her last client and a former employee while I was getting my hair washed for the first of many times. Lindsay at one point then decided to say I was being ridiculous. Ridiculous, is sitting 8 hours in a Salon and wasting my day. Ridiculous, is how I was treated. Ridiculous is how I now look because of my hair. Ridiculous is me having to now go back to what my hair was and losing all the progress that I achieved lightening it up for a year. Women get their hair done as a luxury and to feel beautiful, my time spent at Salon Blissful was not luxurious and I certainly do not feel beautiful from this horrendous color job I was given. Maybe if this was their hair or their children's or family members hair, they would have treated me better. I do hope the stylists take necessary classes to ensure color success so something like this doesn't happen in the future and perhaps a few professionalism classes wouldn't hurt either. Considering both times I went, the stylist and owner had their little kids running around, maybe it should become a daycare not a hair salon. read more
