I've been going for a while here now and honestly best service I have ever gotten. They do my nails exactly how I ask for and the nail ladies are so friendly. I always feel comfortable there. They always ask me if I'm ok if I'm comfortable and the quality and work is very clean. The salon itself is kept very hygienic which is a big deal for me. I found this gem on Yelp when my original nail tech was unavailable, taking a huge risk... because I'm stubborn and picky when it comes to nails. Immediately they booked me for an availability that day, and I had the pleasure of meeting Sue (I call her the Surgeon, because she did the best pedi EVER). I was so pleased, I booked an appointment for my mom for that week. The place is gorgeous, and the vibe is positive which is really huge because I've had times where I didn't return to nail salons because of the cattiness and low energy. Overall, Salon de Manucure is a lovely shop. Anna runs a tight ship and is in top of appointments and walk-ins. I received a mani/pedi and the older female nail technician cut my BIG toe removing cuticle. She used lots of antiseptic, however, did not apologize in any way. The rest of the pedi went well and I loved the graphics of the different nail shapes. The mani was great. The polish selection is on point. Today was my first Salon De Manucure experience, but it certainly will not be my last. It was a wonderful surprise. I was greeted by the owner, Miriam. Very welcoming, gracious & professional. I was taken aback by the beautiful, very tasteful decor & comfort. The salon is spotlessly clean. The two young ladies doing my nails, Goga & Mara gave me the best mani/pedi ever. They were extremely gentle & considerate. Asking me if I was happy with their work & if everything was okay, along the way. Everyone there was so friendly & pleasant. The pedicure was really good, he did an amazing job, the management however, did not. I arrived 2 min past my appointment time and was told they were behind 15 min (next time you guys should call people if you are behind and let them know) I then wait 40 min for them to be ready for me (if they had called I would have just came when they were ready and wouldn't have had to wait there for so long) they seem VERY unorganized and should hire more people if they are that busy. $10 extra for the callus remover seems expensive when it's just a grater thing (nothing special warrants the extra $$$) overall, it was definitely overpriced and I probably won't be back there are so many nail salons in the area that do just a good of a job and more fairly priced. I've been to Salon De Manucure twice before and both times I've had a good experience but today wrecked it. I haven't had time to get a manicure in awhile and was really looking forward to "cleaning up." The salon was not busy but I still had to wait 15 minutes to be seen, even though I had an appointment. I did not get the name of the woman who finally came over to give me a manicure. She did not introduce herself. I always look at the manicurists nails to kind of gauge what I'm going to get and this did not look promising. Her nails were dirty and she had one long, broken thumbnail that kept jabbing into my skin. She was really rough and was working too fast and ended up cutting me while she was doing my cuticles. OW! It started bleeding immediately but I had to keep asking her to stop her work and get me a band aid. She poured alcohol on the cut and tried to keep working. I kept stopping her and then she put neosporin on the cut , which I am allergic to and still tried to keep working. I grabbed a kleenex to wrap around my cut and she asked me if I wanted a bandaid (?) but could not find one. I got up to leave and she had gotten up to the desk before me. She and the receptionist had pulled out the first aid box and finally gave me a bandaid and told me I owed $22.00. Then the receptionist asked me, "other than this (the cut) was everything ok?" I asked her if she was "seriously asking me that!?" She replied, "were you happy with your service?" Ummm...NO! She finally told me that she would give me a 10 percent discount. I really think her reply should have been "I'm so sorry this happened. Of course, we won't charge you for this. Please come back for a free service." E--gads! I'm just so mad because I thought I had finally found a nice, clean shop that wasn't blasting loud music or a T.V. If you have natural nails, I would avoid this salon. I'm praying I don't get a fungus infection. And, my nails look like crap. read more

Anna is extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. Every nail tech has been professional and willing to adjust if needed. Also if you are a germaphobe- their location is and has been very clean every time I've ever gone. If I had to give one negative, well more like the potential for a negative, it's the parking. I've been looking for a good nail salon since I moved into Sherman oaks/ Van Nuys area. I had been to one other nail salon before finding this one and I was just pleasantly surprised at the great customer service every employee at this place gave in comparison to other nail salons I've been to. They were all so nice & attentive. My partner and I called the morning of to see if they had any same day availability and they managed to get us in. We met one of the owners, Anna, who was super helpful and engaging the whole time. And I love that the inside looks so beautiful, they also have a wide selection of colors and they offered us bottled water. Highly recommend checking this place out. Tiffany did a great job at pedicures and Aiden did an excellent job at my manicure. Lastly, there's on site parking so you don't have to spend time looking for a meter, so that was a plus! read more

Only thing that could improve is the handling of the cuticle removals - it was done quite roughly and quickly and I kept flinching cos it almost felt like I could bleed and it burned with the alcohol.
