I needed my long hair cut into a "lob". I watched all kinds of YouTube videos about how to cut this style so I knew if my stylist was asking the right questions and knew what they were doing. My experience in the past with a short stacked bob was that not many stylists can do this cut well. I've actually had more than one stylist tell me that they don't do them well and to find someone else. That's why I was so happy to come upon Salon Dushons. I should thank my son who went there first and inquired about a stylist for me. His stylist actually recommended Emily, another stylist. I booked the appointment and got Emily. I knew I was in the right place when she actually did a thorough consultation with me. She was conscientious and took my likes and dislikes into consideration. She listened and even asked for a picture of what I had in mind. Of course I had saved a number of them! She took care to make sure that my cut was clean, neat, she even did some things that I had seen in those expert videos. I ended up with the exact cut I wanted. I have had a fear about getting a new stylist due to having some really bad haircuts. I was even more nervous to getting bangs for the first time by a new stylist but Ms Lang did an amazing job and walk me through the whole process and told me about my face shape and how they would look and how to the style my bangs. Fran is a miracle worker. After another saloon had destroyed my blonde colour, I didn't think that much could be done without all my hair falling out but Fran worked her magic. I left the saloon looking like nothing had happened and my hair looking beautiful. Finally I've found a stylist now that can do my hair. I went into this salon not knowing anything. The lady that I got name was Beverly. She was a nice lady and I enjoyed everything about the experience ; except i wish she would of done more highlights in my hair. she only did a partial highlight but there was not enough for what i was hoping for. the rest was awsome. the shampoo was out of this world. yes i will go back there again , but i just wish she would of listened a little more carefully. I am hoping to go back and get more highlights ; I have been reading almost all the reviews and some are not so good, so i understand that i'm not the only person feeling like they did not completely listen to my request. all in all the whole visit was refreshing though. read more
