i am a frequent flyer back and forth to southern California from Orlando FL. i fly so much i don't have a stable hair stylist! on 2 of my most current flights out to Cali, i came across Salon Gabriel Anthony. fell inlove with it. love the atmosphere, great customer service, and last but not least, the best hairstylist in the world.... Gina!!!!!!!!!!!! i was a walk-in client. as soon as i requested i needed a cut and color, Gina was available at hand!!!! she made me feel so comfortable and very trustworthy of her. she asked me questions as to what kind or job i have, what do i do on a daily basis, how do i do my hair when i have a day off and i just want to be comfortable, etc.. when i told her what kind of look i wanted, she knew exactly what i was talking about, instead of having 20 minutes to explain to another clueless stylist!!!! during my transformation, Gina was very gentle and patient. she did not rush me or her work. throughout the whole time she was doing my hair, we were having conversations only my friends and i would have. when she was finished, she killed it! exactly what i wanted and a thousand times better!!!! from now on, whenever i need my hair done, I AM and WILL fly to California to Gina! she is the BEST....... and i highly recommend her!! she truly makes hairstyling an art, not a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have been to Salon Gabirel Anthony on two occasions. Once for a hair color and another for a cut. Both with Gina, a talented and fun stylist there. Both times have been an great experience. I have been going to the same salon for years however moved and needed a new gal. As many of you know, this can be a bit scary. Gina was there and made the experience end not only with great results, but fun. I would recommend this salon and Gina to anyone. The salon service was professional and very customer service focused. The 5 stars should say it all! I am completely taken with Salon Gabriel Anthony. The salon has such an edge to it, reflecting on it's owner, my hair dresser " Gabriel Anthony". He keeps up with the latest color lines, products and styles which is important to me. Gabe is also my 17 year old daughters hairstylist. She REFUSES to let anyone else touch her hair. I came to this awesome salon with my friend Shahlo. Gabriel did a great job. I was very pleased with my curls. They stayed until next morning. Gabriel is very knowledgeable and helpful and obviously knows his stuff. The price was reasonable. The salon is also a nice and relaxed friendly environment in a great location. Unfortunately I realized this after it was too late. If I could give this place one star I would. So many red flags!!! I called and booked an appointment for 3pm. The stylist on the phone sounded as though he were too busy to be on the phone and handed it off with out telling the other person why I was calling. I arrived to my appointment 5 mins early. One stylist had someone in their chair, while the other just sat someone down. Don't understand why a salon would book an appointment if they're not going to honor it? I decided to wait anyway. When I sat in the chair the stylist asked what I wanted and I showed him a picture. He asked why I didn't get a Brazilian Blowout. I told him it's because I like my hair. It's naturally curly. He pointed out that it's frizzy. I explained it was frizzy because I took a shower right before my appointment and I didn't wash my hair because I thought they would. The mist from the shower caused it to frizz. The barbacide jar was less than half full and the combs inside were only partially immersed. Also the stylist didn't appear to know how to cut hair properly. He just pulled my hair all the way down and cut it straight across. I wanted some layers in my hair and he didn't put them in. Instead he said I still had layers. Those were layers that were outgrown from a haircut I got 4 months ago. I had to ask him to do a little more because it was still thick at the bottom. I should have listened to my instinct and just paid $80 like I normally do at a higher end salon. I'm going to have to go get my hair fixed now because the stylist messed it up and it looks nothing like The picture I asked for. See attached photos.
