Looking for just a trim on my long hair, called and set up a appointment, set it up then got called saying they accidentally over booked the stylist. I asked if anyone else could cut my hair they said just come in and she can make time So arriving the front desk said the sytlist left. I was early and he called her, he said she was not able to now cut my hair but he could. I haven't been so thought for the price he could t be bad. I hate to bad mouth people and he was really really nice but I got butchered. I specifically asked for no more than an inch and long layers. Half my head has different length and the layers are so short it doesn't blend at all. He dried my hair and didn't play iron or make it look presentable and I am just disappointed because I do t usually spend that much but wanted to treat myself. read more

I honestly was super excited to go get my hair done. Had heard amazing things about Michelle. Went in and showed her what I wanted, I had light brown hair with a blonde balayage. She said great, we'll add some caramel and auburn like the pictures you're showing me. And next thing I know I'm walking out of the salon with black hair....like what the heck happened? What can I say? Christian is the best stylist I've ever had. From the moment you walk in to the salon, he'll treat you just as a person deserves to be treated at a salon. You'll never feel as though you're just another client with him. Christian is serious about his craft, yet incredibly warm and engaging. So many other salon "professionals" will not hold back on overwhelming you with their personal life. Or sometimes worse, awkwardly say nothing at all. He knows exactly how to read my mood and engage me accordingly. He gets it... he knows that his customers are not only there to come out looking great, but feeling great as well. I came in to see Christian about two weeks ago, and wanted him to do a little more extensive coloring on my hair. We both agreed that Balayage would be the perfect effect I was shooting for during these summer months. Balayage is a French hair coloring technique. It's a freehand technique where the hair color is applied by hand sweeping for a more natural effect. Needless to say, he blew me away! My hair looked absolutely gorgeous! Honestly, it's better than any Balayage I've seen... even in photos. Note, I'm naturally a dark brunette. Also the great thing about Christian is that he's incredibly intuitive. It's not about him. He sincerely cares about, not only what you want... but also about what you need. He's masterful at picking up on the subtle nuances of my conversations with him. He really listens. Great Salon on Del Mar street in downtown San Clemente near shops and with convenient parking. My stylist was Lou. I was a walk in and she was so warm and friendly and fit me into her busy schedule. She did an amazing job of blowing out my hair and suggested adding loose waves to the blow out to make it pop even more. I was really happy with the twist on my previous blow outs.
