So I was on yelp looking for a hair salon to dye my hair professionally. I saw the amazing reviews on here and I was sold. There are amazing reviews on Christian, and I wanted him to color my hair. But....when I called, the guy who was at the front desk and answered the phone was really rude. He insisted on having me come in and I felt pressures so I said yes to making an apt with a different stylist named Alex or whatever. Then I decided I didn't want it cause my whole reason for calling was just to get some information and how to best go about getting my hair the way I wanted. But the guy on the phone was insisting I get and appointment. Then I get a phone call from him and I told him I wanted an appointment with Christian and he all rudely says "Well you should've let me know because now you wasted my stylist's time and mine." (In a very snappy and rude voice) To me that was just rude! I work with customers and you definitely don't want to be rude to a potential customer. She was spot on with my cut/style and really listened to what I wanted, plus gave me a mini scalp massage during my wash-the best. I called in hopeful desperation on a Friday after looking up salons that offer gold well products and finding them listed... the gentleman who answered the phone was polite and concise and understood what I was asking for. I have had every different method there is to offer & the method that's the best is Tape in hair extensions for sure! Christian rocks it!! I had an appointment today to see connie andrews and i was very pleased when i left. my usual stylist recently moved away to canada and i spent alot of time trying to find someone who was capable and affordable and finally did! When i came to see Connie Andrews i had blue and teal green dye on the ends of my hair and it was box color, when i left i had beautiful blonde and caramel color and the best part MY HAIR WAS NOT DAMAGED! i have very long hair so i am not trusting when it comes to new stylists cutting my hair but connie did a great job and kept my length and light trim so it looked healthy but was still long how i wanted it. I have never walked away disappointed. I cut about 4 inches off my hair and was nervous about going so short but not only did Christian make me feel comfortable during the entire process, he exceeded my expectations on the cut. I was wanting to lighten my hair for summer but have always had a hard time lifting my naturally dark brown hair (I pull very VERY brassy). I asked for a balayage/ombre. Not only was she able to lift my hair beautifully BUT I left with my hair feeling so soft and healthy! Thank got for Christian!!! When I came into Salon Incognito I was pretty desperate for someone to fix my hair. I went through about 6 months of just making the wrong decisions for my hair and was at the point that I was crying when I would brush it and wanted to shave it all off. I had never died my hair before and randomly I decided okay I am dying it reddish brown and this is the ... box ... I want. I had natural hair at that point nothing done to it and it was already a dark brown which I loved. So I dyed it. Then dyed it again a month or so later when the red washed out. Then I decided I am now a colorista and will get my own color and my own developer and it will be perfect.... perfectly wrong would be more exact! I looked like a fire hydrant and was beyond mortified. Not at all what I was going for. So the nice lady at the beauty supply store said oh yes this and it will take the color out (remember I had never colored my hair or anything beyond a trim). So I went home and stripped the color out of my hair only to end up looking like a carrot... Then I did exactly what you should never do after stripping your hair.. Panic and dye it again right after... At this point I was on a roll with just completely killing my hair. It stopped taking the dye. I would have to add protein fillers before I dyed my hair to get it to hold. It was slightly green and orange still but mostly brown. Brushing my hair was the most traumatic thing I have experienced in a long time. It would take me close to an hour to brush my hair and I had to spray it with hair extension detangler prior in order to get the brush through my hair... I would literally sit in front of the mirror brushing my hair with tears in my eyes. Then I met this amazing man named Christian. Who oh so nicely told me I made every wrong mistake possible, but good news was he was there to help. He knew everything possible that was needed for my hair. I started with color foam so I didn't look like peas and carrots and deep conditioning for about 6 months since my hair was still super weak and would probably fall out if I tried dying it again. The foam was insanely easy on my hair. Finally the time came to dye my hair... I was so scared, didn't know if I was mentally ready to dye my hair. I told him I want it as close as possible to my natural hair color cause I never want to dye it again, ever ever ever!!!!! Lets just say its been about a year and I haven't dyed it since. You can't tell where the dye starts and the natural hair starts it is so insanely close to my natural color. He didn't want to do anything more than trim my hair but I insisted that we cut it a little shorter to get the dyed old hair off. I went back every 3 months and got a trim and its grown back out better than ever. The best feeling in the world... I don't have to spray any leave in conditioner or detangler in before I brush my hair now. I can brush it out in about a minute no problem. I deep condition at home once a week and use a wet brush on my hair (which is basically a miracle brush) and get a trim whenever I have time. I use the right shampoo and conditioner for my hair and it almost feels like it is all natural once again! Without Christian I probably would of pulled a Brittany and shaved it all of so for him I am eternally grateful! I even got my mom who hasn't had her hair cut in probably five years (besides me trimming it for her cause I am a hair stylist in my dreams hahaha) to go into Christian and get her hair cut, highlighted, colored, low lighted and whatever else it may be. She is probably pickier than I am when it comes to people touching my hair and she would never go anywhere else now! WE LOVE YOU CHRISTIAN! Thank you Salon Incognito for having such an amazing hair stylist master in your salon!!!! Just have to add one more thing! They will give you coffee if you need something to drink. And it is delicious coffee or water or whatever else if you are thirsty. But the coffee is on point! read more

Got my wedding hair done there this weekend. They did a beautiful job with my hair, my mom and both my sister's hair. They were very accommodating, kept us together, gave us room, let us toast the wedding, and took their time to ensure everything was perfect. Very reasonable prices. Had my hair done here for high school dances and was always happy before so I am glad I trusted them with my wedding updo. Had highlights and lowlights put in. For the price I paid it looks fine. But here's where you need to be careful. . . having your car ticketed out front while you are getting your hair done. Yes, a parking ticket because the appointment went over 2 hours. You would think someone in the salon would tell me or that the salon would post somewhere that I should either move my car or not park there or they should keep their appointments at 2 hours. This is not a metered street. Both the city and salon are at fault here. I do not live in San Clemente so had no idea they chalk tires and ticket cars while you are sitting in a salon chair getting your hair blowdried.
