The salon itself is located in a very convenient right by a bakery, many restaurants, and coffee shops. Despite parking being a bit difficult considering it's right next to the beach, the salon has dedicated spots off 23rd street. Aside from that, I went in for a trim. Although I had just gotten a haircut just this late summer at another salon, it actually wasn't as short as I wanted (my hair grows out really fast). I decided to come here to get it trimmed. Tammy cut my hair while Tracey guided her through the process to make sure every layer and strand are accounted for. I'll definitely be back!

I never got around to posting a review back when I visited in September and I can't believe it's been so long already. Almost two months later and I still cannot stop thinking about this place. The Salon caught my eye with a lot of beautiful decor in the windows and the service menu and prices on the window too! 4 different, all very reasonably priced options from 30-60 minutes and long list of add-ons. As soon as I walked in to see if they had availability I was warmly welcomed by who I think was the owner, making jewelry right there in the shop. I was looking around for the very short wait and chatting with her before her own client got there for her hair appointment. I had time and wanted to try everything so I went with the 60 minute MoonStruck Experience. I decided to treat myself to a feeew add-ons (and they possibly did too!) and got the Scalp Viewing, Scalp Brushing, Detox Foaming Salt Scrub, HydraSoft Glossing Treatment, Blowout, and even a trim! I was treated by Tonya who was the best ever. With all my add-ons I was definitely there longer than 60 minutes and it was the best spent time and the best spa experience. I couldn't recommend this place enough. I don't know when I'll be back in the area, but I cannot wait for my next visit. I will need to make sure Tonya is absolutely there and ask for her again. 13/10!!

Tracey makes hair miracles happen! I was in dire need of hair help while on vacation (with almost 5 months of grow out). Within 2 hours she had my hair looking and feeling lovely - the photos speak for themselves! Tracey is truly an expert and was so kind! The best part is she has multiple salon locations...a beautiful salon in Newport Beach and in Henderson NV ...CANT WAIT FOR MY NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH TRACEY!

My first time at this Salons location; longgggggg time client with Tracey LA. Over 20 years Tracey has been in my life. She does the most precise wet & dry cuts. She takes her time with every client. She's been in the business of owning many salons in several states & has mentored many stylists & it shows. Her expertise in the field is phenomenal. The vibe of this new location is pristine. If all of that wasn't enough...... In Newport Beach of all places, you would think my mop she transformed into this sleek elegant look would cost a couple hundred $$. Not so. Tracey always has competitive prices, all of this: medium hair cut & partial highlights medium was only $150 !! I'm so thankful to have found an amazing hair master as Tracey & consider this a girlfriend telling you to go to her hair lady.

I'm so excited that Tracy has bought this location! Been with her for over 20 years and this spot is the best location. If you're looking for balayage or any kind of color - Tracy is literally the best. She will transform you. Parking lot around the back of the salon! Congratulations on this perfect spot.

I absolutely love Tracey! She completely fixed the blunt, uneven haircut I had from a previous salon visit and really listened when I said I didn't want to go any shorter, since my hair was already cut too short last time. Even before I mentioned it, she could tell my last cut was off--and she knew exactly how to correct it. I asked for layers, and she delivered beautifully! My hair hasn't looked this good in a long time, and I'm so happy I found her. She even gave me a relaxing scalp massage while washing my hair, which was such a nice touch. Tracey is so kind and attentive, she's definitely going to be my go-to stylist from now on!

I went in for a very much needed color and cut and I'm very happy I did! Both Tracey and Tammy were so welcoming. Tammy did my color and cut and I am obsessed!!! She did an amazing job with asking the right questions and executing. I will definitely be back for my future cuts and color.. not to mention the salon was so cute!

    Today's haircut and highlight

Love Tracy! I would never get haircuts at other places and now my teenage son gets haircuts and perms from her too. Her knowledge of coloring hair is amazing. She fixed my hair which was originally dye by myself using box dyes and ended up with patches of different colors. The way she cut my hair made my hair look so elegant without any styling product, I could just wake up and go every morning which I could never get from another stylist.

Tracey has been doing my hair for as long as I can remember. Every time I get my hair done, it comes out better than the inspo picture. I recently expressed to Tracey that I wanted to add some color in my hair, and when she finished I was in love! Even now, months after my service, I still get compliments on my hair color. Tracey is great at hair cutting and a master at color. I highly recommend booking an appointment. She is very realistic and perfect for the low maintenance girlies that get their hair done every few months. I loved the vibe at Salon Lunas! The aesthetic is perfect. Great area with a private lot and street parking. I love the retail section they have in front of the salon!

Dropped by Salon Luna to get a cut from one of my favorite barbers! Tracey is such an enjoyable person to be around and puts a lot of time & effort into her haircuts. She will personalize your cut to any style you request and she has a lot of experience cutting men's hair, especially asian men's haircuts. Love the attention to detail whenever she cuts my hair. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance!

My service included a day pass to enjoy the pool area, so I spent some extra time lounging outside afterward. I accidentally forgot to take a picture of the code needed to order food, but the receptionist was very helpful when I called. She provided me with the code and also contacted a server for me since no one had been by the pool area in a while. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five was the slight delay with poolside service, but the staff handled it well once I reached out. Overall, it was a peaceful day of rest, relaxation, and pampering. I'll definitely return.

Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.

They put a lot of effort into recreating the feel of a traditional Korean village in their jjimjilbang and rest area, and it really does make you feel like you've been transported to Korea. The women's soaking pools are also spacious. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was really disappointing. The jjimjilbang rooms were noticeably cooler than I remembered. Most of them were barely warm enough to make me sweat, and even the hottest room didn't feel hot at all. At first, I assumed something was malfunctioning, which I would have completely understood. However, I asked the front desk and was told that these are going to be their regular temperatures moving forward because they had been cited by the health department for the rooms being too hot. I understand that they have to comply with health department requirements, but for someone who specifically comes here for the traditional Korean sauna experience, this completely changes the experience for me. If I'm going to a sauna, I expect to sweat. The LA weather outside honestly feels hotter than some of the sauna rooms now. It's unfortunate because iSpa used to be worth the hour-plus drive for me, and I genuinely loved coming here. The atmosphere is still beautiful and unique, but without the heat I expect from a Korean sauna, I don't think I'll be making the drive back.

A European styled breakfast each morning from 7am to 10am; 5. Wi-fi; 6. Beach chairs and umbrellas. Parking in Laguna Beach is a premium, so parking at the resort was great. The city of Laguna offers a free shuttle with a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. So we parked our car and took the shuttle all over town. The property is a well maintained, quant renovated 26 room Italian style resort. It's clean, charming, and has lots of character. They have a heated swimming pool (83 degrees), a sauna, and a secluded sun bathing lounge area and several other amenities. We especially liked the frittatas, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, and iced cold lemon water. The property is a historic landmark, so it doesn't offer handicap accessibility. So if you or someone in your group is in a wheel chair or uses a walker then this property won't work for you. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely go back again.

We also appreciated the 10% military discount. We stayed in room 23 which was a standard queen bed with garden view and liked that spot because it felt central, private, and quiet. The room is on the smaller side but it was fine. It does not have a fridge but they provide an ice bucket. We ended up putting our bottled waters on top of the AC box and that kept it cool. Being that the inn is beautifully historic, there weren't many outlets inside the room. The bath robes were very plush. Both lamp shade knobs didn't seem to turn properly but we made it work somehow. It could be quite a wait for the trolley as we waited 30 mins. There is a QR code on the sign to track the trolley locations.

Unless we did it at two different times on two different days. Really?! Somewhere between the hotel manager and the spa manager, it's still didn't get figured out and the spa manager, Emma, didn't even care to ask what was going on on our side, just called me up after listening to whatever her employees at the spa told her which was not the true story because I heard it myself when I phoned them back. Then the hotel manager never even called us back to see if it was handled. Keep in mind that this is a Marriott resort now and it kind of reflects it! Sure, they're gonna rebrand to a Saint Regis to help their current image, but that is still a Marriott brand. I could recommend the hotel, but why would I when the spa day is such an important part of everyone's stay, and they screwed it up completely and never cared to fix it. Nick, the hotel manager on the day before we were leaving, did accommodate us by giving us the last night charge credited back because we had no reason to stay. But still, always not a good thing when you have to cut your vacation short.
