Sarah is a gem of a human being, and an incredible hairstylist on top of it. She has a remarkable talent for cut, color, styling, perm, all of it. And her pricing reflects the humble and honest person she is (more than fair). She is so sweet and easy to talk with...and actually listens to what your hair goals are (whereas most stylists will end up doing what they want to do/think looks best half the time). I have very fine, straight, lackluster, short hair which I never loved...until the day I met Sarah. She gave me the confidence and joy I always prayed for. Firstly, there is no incentive for this post, I just felt this hidden gem is so good, I had to share! A few points: 1. Sarah is the kindest hairdresser I have ever had (I have gone to at least 5 others in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach), she is the most professional, no garbage language or profanities (found in most salons). She is a classy lady and and treats her clients with the utmost care (no ego like most hairdressers have). 2. The last two hairdressers continually messed up my hair and told me the look I was wanting to achieve couldn't be done, but Sarah DID it! She put in the time and effort needed to accomplish the look I wanted, not the look she felt I should have like most (hair dressers). 3. She is fair and true to her prices, no bait and switch like most salons. 4. She has the cutest salon mascot In this yelp world we can run here to complain but I wanted to share my great experience. I've been going to Stephanie for my hair extensions for three years now, and she is the BEST. She's very easy to book appointments with and she always does an awesome job on my extensions. I've gone to other people in the past for tightenings, and they don't seem to last as long or will come undone. After hearing the great reviews from many of my friends who got their hair done by Sarah, I decided to go to Sarah for hair color and Brazilian blowout. Sarah, the owner of the shop, transformed my dull and damaged hair to look naturally healthy and shiny. Many of her regular clients have gone to her for 8 to 10 years. This shows how skilled she is. She was very knowledgeable and gave me many tips on how to style my hair. I was also amazed to see the nice coffee bar and was especially pleased with the kids room in this salon. My daughter had a blast playing with toys and watching a movie while I got to do both hair toning and Brazilian blowout. This was by far the the best salon experience I had in years! Sarah is AMAZING! I used to go from salon to salon looking for a hair stylist that could keep it consistent with my hair color or to change up my hair the way I like it. However, it's not the easiest to find someone that could keep me satisfied or happy every time. One day I went with my gut and spontaneously walked in and had Sarah cut my hair short. It went from long hair to my waist up to hair to my shoulders. I was extremely nervous about doing it for years but she assured me that it'll look great. She even colored it in a way that there would be different shades showing when I curled my hair. And omg I LOVE IT! I've been going to her since. Another time I she colored my hair to a beautiful lavender grey. I've always had dark hair until I told her to surprise me one day and she gave me this great platinum color. Never did I think I'd have this hair color but I absolutely love it. I feel as though I'm always nervous about changing my hair drastically but I'm always safe in her hands and my hair always comes out perfect! I haven't had a good haircut in a long time but I found my new stylist is Sarah at On Hair. I am extremely satisfied with my haircut and color by Sarah.
