Well they gave me a $20 refund.... apparently leaving the salon in tears is part of the experience package... asking them to reconsider for a full refund & Will update here if they do the right thing. Very frustrated.. I'm now noticing how the way she tried to "fix it" (texturizing it) made it so much worse. It has increased their volume, so when I wake up, they stick nearly straight up. It takes a LOT of ironing them to get them to stick down & then they rise back up after an hour or so. If an artist does this to you there DO NOT LET THEM SAY THEY CAN FIX IT! Just let it grow out for a few weeks. Now I have to wear a headband because they're unfixable. They had said it would get better in 2 weeks (I have now had the haircut over 3 weeks ago...) but it's still incredibly bad lol. I'm estimating it will take perhaps 3 months to grow enough & flatten out. Absolutely horrible salon. Everyone just do yourself a favor and do NOT go here. I won't say the hairstylist name cuz it feels disrespectful so just avoid the salon as a whole read more

This was my first time coming to this salon and the only reason I came was because I used the Yelp system to reached out to multiple places at once and they reached out the quickest. They went over pricing, goal hair, and availability during that conversation and I was able to get an appointment the next day. When I came in with 0 expectations and we had a bit of a miscommunication on what I wanted for my hair. I had virgin black hair that reached past my shoulder blades and wanted to cut into a shoulder length bob with a silver peek-a-boo. However they expected a short bob with an overall brown color due to the type of photos I sent through Yelp. This turned the 1-2 hour appointment to a 5-6 hour process. Even after this issue, they were VERY accommodating and we luckily were able to lift my hair light enough for my perfect shade! They even offered snacks to me twice during my stay. Everyone there were on their feet working and I pretty much had 3 different people working on my hair and felt that they were very attentive. I have never had salon dyed hair before and they gave very helpful information on caring for my hair and the proper steps to keep my color vibrant. The only downside sides were that they had me lay in the hair wash bowl for a while due to my hair having not lift evenly at the time and it was kind of uncomfortable. They tried to make it more bearable by putting towels near my neck/head but wished I just sat in the chair. OVERALL, I got my dream hair that I have always wished for within one session and my only regret was that I never got the names of the women who worked on my hair and gave my helpful advice. (One had full pink hair, one had a little bit of blue hair, and one had blonde hair and glasses). read more

She took her time and very informative. She informed me what is the next step and discussed/recommend color and style. Which I appreciated a lot. Will not come back because 120 dollars for a disappointing haircut felt like a punch in the gut. Don't come if you have Asian hair. This is a DEFINITELY recommend! My blonde roots were too long and needed some TLC for the holidays. This is a dark reserve balayage and Jeanne did and amazing job with her sidekick Jaime. I've been going to the salon for many years. I have tried several different artists. Just because I am a procrastinator and usually wait last minute. But nonetheless, everyone has been really nice to me. Very grateful. I especially love my hair today. It is beautiful. You can see the before and after I'm a businesswoman, so this will go along ways in my professional career. This is why I go to them because they are one of the best in the area. On Saturday I realized I needed a hair trim, so I searched for a salon open on Sundays. The high Yelp rating brought me to Salon ONE 9 and I was not disappointed. The salon was a little hard to find because there's no signage on the building, but it's next to the Kumon. The receptionist offered water, coffee, or tea while I waited for my stylist Elicia. Once she was ready, I showed her pictures of what I was looking for - bangs and texture - and she confirmed what I wanted before getting started. She communicated with me and made sure I was satisfied with my bangs before trimming the rest of my hair. She also explained how to achieve texture at home as she dried it. I Never thought I would have a bad experience here, but today was the day. From waiting 40 minutes past my appt time for my stylist, who is the owner, to my hair coming out so horribly. My hair looks terrible!! I've been coming here for years so this is a very disappointing. All I asked for was face framing highlights (I already have some highlights from 4 months ago) and if it couldn't have been done to have the highlights one color then that should have been said from the get go. Instead she went from giving me half orange half blonde highlights And when I complained about the orange she put toner making all my other highlights dark brown with bronze/orange face frame. When I told her I didn't want to go all dark she proceeded to making my highlights super blonde and orange in between. This was the worst experience I've ever had with this salon. This was the owner who messed me up! To top it off she smirked at the end and said there now you have multiple colors. To top that off I fell over her foot rests and hurt my shoulder and wrist. Needless to say I will never be going back! So disappointed read more
