Not really impressed as I've been sitting here waiting, but waiting nearly 1/2 hour. Called numerous times and to no avail has anyone answered or tended the front counter during any of that time. There are packages that have been delivered with no receptionist and if one had a mask on could easily have come in and taken said packages. I understand the dynamics of this facility being everyone rents their own room, but when you have questions and there isn't anyone at the reception desk to greet, guide, answer your call or anything for that matter.. it leaves one wondering. Where are they?!? Is it clean.. seems so. Service.. not the shops, but the reception : horrible! Decor, supposing individually tended to bin space. Either way not really impressed. read more

Stephanie Plascencia has been doing my hair for several years. I met her when she first started out. I had a Groupon and told her that I wanted my naturally dark brown hair to be platinum without frying it. She accepted the challenge and researched ways to bleach my hair while keeping it healthy. She got it right, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. Over the years, not only have I watched her grow professionally but in life as well. Since I've known her, she got engaged, married, and recently had her first baby - a gorgeous girl. Needless to say, we've become friends. She also does my mom's hair and sometimes mom & I will get our hair done together. I absolutely love what Stephanie does with my color. Sometimes we experiment with different tones or colors. (I've had pink hair and blue). When it comes to cuts, I tell her to do something that compliments my facial structure and am always happy with the results. Stephanie is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and is always researching the latest techniques and trends. She also specializes in Brazilian Blowouts. During the pandemic she left the salon where she started to branch out on her own. Of course I followed her! She now has her own space in Salon Republic Pasadena. Her private studio is suite #208. I was staying at a nearby hotel for a big wedding and needed a shampoo/blow out/style super last minute. Salon Republic was within walking distance from my hotel and I found Carrie Ann's information through their website directory. I sent her a text and was relieved when she responded immediately and was able to work with my last minute schedule. My hair is a little difficult to work with but she did a phenomenal job. She spent a lot of time tending to small details (doing a second pass through with a straightener at my roots to make sure they were smooth and straight after the blow out; using particular products and tools for definition, volume, and shine) that really made a difference. My hair lasted not only through a night of dancing, but looked great for several days afterwards! She was truly so so sweet and great to talk to, I was kind of sad when my appointment with her was done lol. I would 100% recommend her for your hair and trust that her haircuts and colors are just as good (she's really good at communicating and taking your thoughts into consideration). But for me specifically, she heard my struggles with my hair and my needs and made my hair come back to life with the cut and colors! I saw Jessica to get my hair done. Because of past experiences I was super nervous. My last appointment with someone else she gave me a terrible cut I didn't ask for. I also had curtain bangs that were growing out awkwardly, AND my hair had an orange tinge to it. Yea, I know. I was for sure not as easy case. BUT Jessica (Ms. JC Beauty) did AMAZING! She did a beautifully blended blonde balayage, toned so I wasn't orange, and fixed my curtain bangs so that they blended into my hair better, AND gave me the exact cut I was wanting. Went I called the automated call forwarded me to the Manager and she was very rude and short on the phone with me since we began talking and all I had was a quick question about a hair product. I called back about 10 min after because I forgot one question and she never answered again after knowing my phone number. Hair Artistry by Caitlin Ashjian™ just moves into #304 and I have nothing but the highest praise for her. I've been seeing Caitlin since 2014 (and have followed her to every location since then). She is an amazing colorist and knows how to work with every type of hair. Her expertise is in balayage. What I love most about her is that she works with each client before a color or cut. This review is specifically for Camille @ Suite 102 - Moore Barbershop. I've been a client of Camille for a while now and her work is consistently the best I've encountered. Although clearly if you have a double chin 1 treatment is not enough but for the price tag you'd think I'd see a result. I haven't done my eyebrows in months and they were a mess. I've been looking for someone to do my eyebrows for awhile and I couldn't find anyone. My cousin recommended Darius in unit #507 and spoke very highly of him. Before he started to do my eyebrows he gave me a very detailed explanation of what he was gonna do. He took his time doing my eyebrows and wasn't rushing whatsoever. He is very sociable, we had a nice conversation with each other that was full of jokes. When he finished my eyebrows looked better than ever. I highly recommend Darius as he does an amazing job and makes you feel welcomed. read more
