It was a cold night and after color was applied, my hair was not dried, except for the very ends. So far, it was acceptable because I needed my hair done. Got to the front desk, they charged me, I assumed it was going to be the regular price. It was closing time, and everyone was in a hurry, so I handed her my credit card. When I got home and was able to go online with my screen reader to read the charge, I was shocked to see that Pam had added charges for services that were specifically not requested. I talked to Jeff and he told me he would remove the excessive charges and it wouldn't be a problem. However, I had an appointment yesterday and called Jeff before going in, he was extremely rude and told me he wasn't going to do anything about it. I will never visit his shop again and would suggest people who go there who are sighted be very careful and examine their bills because Jeff will not take any kind of recourse. The price listed on the website was different from the amount I was charged. I received my regular haircut, the same service from the same stylist, Angela Noel, whom I have visited many times before. I have always paid the same amount and left a generous tip. However, this time I was charged nearly double for the exact same service, with no additional services provided and no clear explanation for the price difference. After my appointment, I received a link inviting me to leave a review. I shared my experience honestly and respectfully. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, my review was removed from the website. I was then contacted through a voicemail and told that they would make things right during my next visit. Based on that assurance, I booked another appointment with Angela Noel a couple of months later. My appointment was confirmed through both text message and email several days in advance. However, just 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I suddenly received multiple messages stating that my appointment had been canceled. I was also informed that I was no longer welcome at the salon and that any future appointments, whether booked online or by phone, would also be canceled. If the apology and offer to make things right were sincere, why was I encouraged to return for another visit in the first place? Why was my appointment confirmed and then canceled in such an unprofessional manner at the last minute? This situation makes me question whether the intention was truly to resolve the issue and correct the mistake, or simply to manage the situation temporarily and prevent me from returning afterward. The only reason I can see for this treatment is that I left an honest review about being charged significantly more than the advertised price and the price I had consistently paid in the past. It is disappointing that a loyal customer would be treated this way simply for sharing a truthful experience. No customer should feel punished for providing honest feedback. I am deeply disappointed by how this situation was handled and by the way I was treated.

About 50% of the time I've been offered a beverage. I wish it were closer to 100% of the time - even when I'm spending $90+ on a pedicure. I did not receive an armrest nor a greeting, and my water was cold. She wasn't the friendliest either. I could tell the level of attention and detail that Anita provided for my husband was totally different from what I was receiving. However, my husband wished the buff on his nails was a bit brighter. It was dull and didn't really show a major difference. We also did not get a chance to select our manicure preference, as we were told the nail technicians would provide this information to us. Since it was a Friday and we were walk-ins, we plan to try them again on a different day and make reservations to see if the service will be better.
