The outdoor sale sign is just bait - don't fall for it…read more I went there during the afternoon on a weekday because I was impressed by the outdoor sale sign showing mani plus pedi for $38 Monday through Thursday before 3 pm. The service was good but their business practices are atrocious. It's clear that they have no intention of sticking to the sale. As soon as I entered they were upselling. Warning: if you say yes to anything they offer, you opt out of the sale and they charge you the menu prices. This is what they want. They want few customers to actually get the sale. So I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. They should have charged the sale price for the regular pedicure or make it clear (aka verbalize) that I would be opting out by adding gel to my manicure. I expected to pay the difference for the gel manicure but still pay the sale price for the regular pedicure. And when I asked about it, the manager started speaking so loudly in an attempt to embarrass me by getting everyone in the salon to turn and look at me. Rude attitude. I paid them the full price (and tipped because the nail tech was good) but I won't be going back.

I had broken a toenail so I went to get extensions on my front toe as I have an event this weekend and I called beforehand to confirm they would be able to handle it. However, after the extensions were put on the first two toes I realize that they were a lot longer than they should be so I asked them to file them. Again, they were still very long and would've banged into shoes so I asked again kindly if she could please file them shorter to be below the skin. Still, they were too long and uncomfortable so I showed her a picture of what I wanted them to look like and ask that she filed them down once again. It fell as though she was trying to rush because she never once asked are these a good length she just kept proceeding to the next step and I had to stop for each time and ask her to file them down more. By the third time, I realize that I was not going to get what I wanted and it would be better if I just left them as they were and filed them down myself at home I asked her if she could just stop the pedicure without painting or doing anything further she very quickly agreed instead of asking me what the issue was so she could fix it which I also found interesting. I am not one to do something like this, as I have never walked out of an appointment in my life. I really wanted to have nice nails for my event as I rarely treat myself to getting my nails done. However, this experience was not great and I was still charged the full amount of $50, even though my nails were not even painted. I asked twice if that was a correct price and the woman confirmed that it was. I was expecting to at least be charged a little bit less since I did not get them painted or finish the service. Of course, i still tipped as I felt weird about the situation. I called later on to confirm with a manager, but I was told the manager was not in and then I could come back later. Highly disappointed, and wish they wouldve said they werent comfortable doing this service if it wasnt something they often did. Now Im out $50 and will have to do my toes myself.

My usual nail tech is Emily, and she is wonderful! She's very patient, attentive, and always takes the time to make sure I get exactly what I want. I absolutely love how my Gel-X extensions turn out! they always look clean, elegant, and beautifully done. The owner is also very friendly and makes you feel welcome.
