I hesitate to write this because I'm not want to complain about nails or beauty services however I had a very disappointing experience today. I had broken a toenail so I went to get extensions on my front toe as I have an event this weekend and I called beforehand to confirm they would be able to handle it. However, after the extensions were put on the first two toes I realize that they were a lot longer than they should be so I asked them to file them. Again, they were still very long and would've banged into shoes so I asked again kindly if she could please file them shorter to be below the skin. Still, they were too long and uncomfortable so I showed her a picture of what I wanted them to look like and ask that she filed them down once again. It fell as though she was trying to rush because she never once asked are these a good length she just kept proceeding to the next step and I had to stop for each time and ask her to file them down more. By the third time, I realize that I was not going to get what I wanted and it would be better if I just left them as they were and filed them down myself at home I asked her if she could just stop the pedicure without painting or doing anything further she very quickly agreed instead of asking me what the issue was so she could fix it which I also found interesting. I am not one to do something like this, as I have never walked out of an appointment in my life. I really wanted to have nice nails for my event as I rarely treat myself to getting my nails done. However, this experience was not great and I was still charged the full amount of $50, even though my nails were not even painted. I asked twice if that was a correct price and the woman confirmed that it was. I was expecting to at least be charged a little bit less since I did not get them painted or finish the service. Of course, i still tipped as I felt weird about the situation. I called later on to confirm with a manager, but I was told the manager was not in and then I could come back later. Honestly, the only reason I keep coming back is because they don't charge extra for gel. However, the past several times I've gone, I've been unhappy with my nail tech - they assign the same one every time I come in. The past few times, she's been pretty unprofessional doing my nails - she makes fun of the color choice, made 4 of my nails bleed last time I went, and my nails only ever last 2 weeks MAX which realistically, they should be lasting 3 weeks with gel. This time, I left the salon with my right hand nails being shorter than my left and the shape was horrible. I also specifically asked for one layer of my gel color and she left two layers on my right foot instead of removing the extra layer when I asked. She then proceeded to upcharge me (I assume for asking her to take off the extra coat that she mistakenly put on AFTER I had already asked for one coat) and I know this because I get the same treatment every time I go in (gel pedicure with hard gel manicure) and this time it was $15 more expensive. And I don't believe they've raised their prices in the last 3 weeks since I've been in...anyways, good for the price not for the service read more

I love going to this spot during my lunch breaks for a manicure or pedicure. Usually, it's for a pedicure since it is a nice way to relax in the middle of the day before heading back to work. And it's always done in less than an hour and that's including with an Aloe Vera mini-scrub. I don't think it's expensive at all since it's in Manhattan. The price for a pedicure is about $26. The staff is very nice and they have snacks and wine for customers. I'm such a regular that even the owner recognizes me and always makes sure to say hi. read more

I would say this is a hit or miss, really depending on who you get. Sometimes I'm in and out with a dip manicure and spa pedicure in 1.5 hours and it lasts for 3-4 weeks. This past time I was there, I was there for 2.5 hours for the same service and I had a nail break the following day, and two break later that week. It's well priced and really clean, so I'll probably continue to go there and just avoid that one nail tech unless this becomes a trend. read more

The first time I came here to get a set of SNS nails, it was decent. They make you soak your entire hand in acetone instead of using a drill bit to take them off which I do not appreciate since the acetone is severely drying and the woman filed my nails wonky, but they stayed on longer than two weeks and that was good enough for me. Second time I came, the woman doing them forgot to use white powder base coat. So by the end of the second day wearing them, they were chipping everywhere! Came here last Wednesday to get a gel mani and normal pedicure before leaving for a week vacation on that Saturday. By Friday morning, one of my gel nails had already fully came off and the rest were starting to chip. I went back that afternoon and they added a coat to each nail (which I should have realized was a red flag from the beginning instead of redoing the whole nail to begin with). By Saturday the same nail had chipped again! And now it's Thursday and 4 nails are chipping. My pedicure is completely done as well! Of course this was ripping my nails off and hurt pretty badly. When I asked if she could do this the normal way a professional salon should remove nails she put up a fight and was arguing this is the way it's done. Finally after arguing and almost leaving the salon half way through, she put the foils on my other hand and PROPERLY removed the gel manicure. Will never return. If I could give this place no stars I would.. I know people tend to say that often but this place was horrible! I went with my friend this past Friday after work and got the green tea spa mani-pedi with is a bit more expensive than a regular priced mani-pedi. They didn't take the time to really buff our feet at all, it was a two second scrub down, so we asked if they can scrub off more of the dead skin but got an attitude instead. They were trying to rush through the whole thing. When it was time for our manicures they did a really bad job at shaping and taking the cuticles off. My nails now have dents in them and my cuticles look bad. The polish looks like a kindergartener did them. I didn't say anything cause I just don't like conflict, but definitely told myself I wasn't going back! While we were drying our nails most of the workers started sweeping the floors right behinds up, garbage bags flying around, the place stared smelling like bleach and they made us feel like we were bothering them for being there. They close at 9:00pm and we were done way before 8:30pm. My lady practically rushed my mani so that she can stand by the wall and fix the order of all the nail polishes. If you want a relaxing experience I would definitely not recommend you coming here. read more
