All was delicious except they should have served the salsa verde sauce warm instead of cold. It was still a delicious dish. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. It was served with a side of green beans, puréed potatoes with a foie gras gravy. They have a descent drink menu. The contrast of sweet, salty, and savory was excellent and I loved the flavor of the rosemary! It came with focaccia bread. Deviled Eggs - The flavor this month is dill pickle. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... The food came out quick and was piping hot. The staff were very friendly. Apparently I must have come in on "regulars" day because the waitress knew everyone by name. I love this. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating and the decor includes "history." I wish I didn't live so far. I will definitely look for a reason to visit again.
