I came to SDW with friends after attending a Yelp event a couple of months back. Since it was a weeknight, it wasn't terribly busy. By the time we arrived, it appeared that they were out of some of their beers. I was hoping to get Crank That AC as I had that one at the original location and really enjoyed it. I went with Persnickety which I've had before. It's a citrus wheat and it's pretty good. They also rotate guest taps from other Texas breweries. If you want to order a SDW beer, look for the star next to the number on the menu board. I love that they serve food and was pleasantly surprised to see that the kitchen was open pretty late. I didn't order any food, but some of my friends had chicken tenders and fries which looked really good. They also offer items like burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and quesadillas. They just started doing happy hour M-F from 3p-5p. They're also on Door Dash! Who would have thought? I don't know if they have weekly events like trivia night, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's in the works.

The service was great! The bartender recommended stuff for us. I don't like beer haha and the cider he gave me was delicious! We also tried the pretzel which was cooked perfectly the mustard and queso were yum. We also tried the brisket tacos, the jerk chicken sandwhich and the fries and onion rings! Everything was delicious! A cool local brewery!

Great beer and friendly service. Not the best place to watch a sports game but nice that it is not too crowded (Texans playoff game). And apparently they have one of the world's largest pretzels!

I love my local craft beers and breweries. Saloon Door in Webster was my first introduction to their beer and brewery. They put out a very solid product. When I heard they were taking over this location and opening up shop in my neck of the woods, I was beyond ecstatic. My drive just got cut in half. Size wise, it's a little bit smaller, but at the same time plenty big. Customer service here was great from start to finish as well. If you don't know what to get, just ask and they will let you sample before committing to a beer. My friends and I came here to kill some time before an event. We liked it so much, we decided to come back later in the evening with a bunch more people so they could see how great this place is. My favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It s a chocolate and peanut butter stout that is so delicious. Like everything else I've had, it's easy drinking but packed with some of my favorite flavor profiles. Don't sleep on the Coffee Amber though. If you love coffee as much as I do, you will like this one too. If you want something that packs a little more punch, get the Brewster Cogburn which has a 9.6 ABV. This vanilla cream ale is amazing. If you're a little hungry, they do have a kitchen with hot food. I ordered the chicken tenders thinking it was going to be a small platter, but it came out in a large tray, filled high with seasoned waffle fries and two large pieces of chicken that smelled like it came straight from one of the popular fast food chicken spots. I shared and everyone loved it. I imagine the other food has to be good too. Overall, I hope the trend of new breweries in Pearland continues. Saloon Door will definitely be visited by me again and frequently!

Simple question: should you visit Saloon Door West? The answer is Absolutely Yes! The Saloon Door team put their heart and soul into creating this new venue that not only serves their selection of beers, but a nice selection of guest taps from other breweries. I've already been up there three times on opening week. I like a wide range of beer styles, and SDW has done a fantastic job of putting a range of styles on tap to suit a beer snob's palette (like me). They are family & pet friendly (hopefully both are well behaved), and the staff has been incredibly welcoming. The indoor seating is nice, and I look forward to patio weather again to better enjoy the spacious outdoor seating. They are still in their "soft open" phase as I write this review, but even with that, you can clearly see the passion and commitment to this venue from the owners and staff. They literally respond to any feedback (both positive and constructive recommendations) on social media. So if you love beer, good times, and hanging out with good people, give Saloon Door West a try. I know I for one will be a regular customer there, so say howdy if you see me (and buy me a beer if this review helped make your decision to come by).

Food was good and fresh, the service was quick and the server was very kind and answered all our questions about the menu. He even brought out a complimentary appetizer because we couldn't decide between two which was a very nice gesture. The tacos were by far my favorite and you could tell everything was fresh and made in house. Not a huge beer drinker, but the pineapple cider was delicious and refreshing. The outside seating is perfect for a hot day and large gathering with the large picnic tables and covered area. We will be back for sure!

We were also informed that they stop serving food at 9:30, so pretty much to order soon. Needless to say I was so disappointed and ready to leave. But it being so late, sucked it up. Came here for the sword fish that apparently they no longer serve as their menu had changed. After ordering, I did voice my concerns about the loud music and thankfully they changed it. I was able to enjoy my late night dinner with my husband. We ordered the Kataifi shrimp as an appetizer. They were medium sized served with a spicy tangy sauce. They were very delicious. For my main course I ordered the American red snapper which was also a unique dish as it was served on a corn husk with rice and beans. 3 whole crawfish, a corn and cold salsa verde sauce on the side of the dish. All was delicious except they should have served the salsa verde sauce warm instead of cold. It was still a delicious dish. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which was also delicious. It was served with a side of green beans, puréed potatoes with a foie gras gravy. They have a descent drink menu. I ordered the Friendswood 75 which was a little too sweet for my liking and my husband ordered the Gin and tonic. They didn't have Sapphire so he opted for the Tanqueray. Overall, our meal was delicious and our server Sandy was nice.

Paired with a nice red wine from South Africa. The boards were good but favored the bold flavors of the Manhattan more. Wine was great and at $33 for a bottle a decent price. I was immediately intrigued, especially since they're located in Pearland. It took a few months after HRW before I was finally able to try them out. Take Out: I've done take out a few times. The first time, I ordered at the restaurant. It took about 20-30 minutes for the food to be prepared. Miranda was so nice and offered me water while I waited. She was very friendly and personable. The next two times, I ordered online. My order was ready when I arrived both times, however the second time I arrived, service was extremely slow. I was in a hurry and didn't feel well so I left a little annoyed. Food: Cucumber Shooters - Really tasty! I enjoyed the walnuts and cream cheese. Deviled Eggs - The flavor changes monthly. The first time I had it, the flavor was olive and I didn't care for it. Nutella Board - I ordered a catering size for a party and it was a hit with the party goers. Smoked Salmon - I loved it! It came with an everything bagel, cream cheese, and an assortment of veggies. I had enough food for three days. Dine In: We were the only patrons in the restaurant. It's not a large place, but it was a little awkward because our server could hear our entire conversation. There was a music playlist going, but the volume was low. Our server Cassundra was very nice. She made great suggestions on food and wine and assured us that the amount of food we ordered would be plenty. Wine: We ordered a bottle of Pratello Catulliano. This was our first time trying Lugana wine. You could taste the lime and apple, and it was on the drier side. Cassundra told us that they did a wine and Girl Scout cookie pairing and the Pratello Catulliano paired nicely with the Shortbread cookie. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying a bottle to go. We also had a glass of the house white wine which we enjoyed. Food: Butter Board - This was extremely tasty! It's whipped butter with hot honey, garlic cloves, rosemary, and sea salt. The contrast of sweet, salty, and savory was excellent and I loved the flavor of the rosemary! It came with focaccia bread. Deviled Eggs - The flavor this month is dill pickle. They were much better than the olive ones I had a few months prior and I would definitely order this flavor again! The Pearland - This charcuterie board is one of their most popular. There was a nice assortment of meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit. I actually liked the beet crackers with the salami and sharp cheddar. TBTBTCBM never seems to be busy when I visit. It is hidden in the same shopping strip as the discount movie theater. Part of me likes that it's sort of a secret, but I want this business to do well. It's nice to have a wine bar in town and not have to drive to Friendswood, Houston, or Missouri City.

They had a very comprehensive wine menu and a nice list of cocktails. I got an old-fashioned and the wife got a Coke zero and they were brought fast. I chose the regular old-fashioned over the smoked and it was fantastic; a little on the sweet side for my taste but still very good. We ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer, and it came really quickly and was excellent. Wife ordered the ribeye with mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes. She said it was fantastic cooked just the way she liked it and at a reasonable price. I ordered a bowl of the lobster bisque and a side order of the brussels sprouts. The bisque was a little thin, but loaded with lobster and full flavored. Now the brussels sprouts were fantastic. Seasoned really well lots of bacon slightly crisp. I would go back there just for the brussels sprouts. I also ordered the focaccia bread and it was great for dipping in the lobster bisque. The BLT was disappointing, with too-thick bread and very little salmon (maybe 1/4" thick where present at all) and maybe two slices of bacon -- overall it was quite bland, dominated by bread. She described the fish tacos (grilled) as "perfectly adequate" but that the fish had an off flavor like it had been soaked in some preservative.
