    Vallenson's merch

It's a shame I took so long to come to one of Pearland's only breweries. I've heard how great it is, but always find myself in Houston checking places out over there since most of my friends live in town. I just happened to have some friends in my neck of the woods for lunch and we decided to have a few brews after. They open at 2 on Saturday and we got their shortly after they opened. The place was already busy and I can totally see why. What I really like about this place is how family friendly it is. They have a large outside patio area that all the families were congregated at. Inside was nice and cozy with plenty of seating. They also have projectors playing the games which is a big plus for me. Browsing the menu, I saw they had a few sours which I am a sucker for. I was full from lunch and knew I was good for one drink, so I made that one drink count. I went with the Tangerine Sour. It had a orange juice look and consistency to it. The flavor was true to it's name and was very good. Not overly sweet with just the right about of tartness. Everyone in my group liked whatever they had as well. Though they don't sell food, they did have a food truck post up outside. They brought around QR codes to scan and order from your seat, and then it would notify you when you food was ready. I thought that was a great thing to have as an option if you made a day out of hanging out here. They also allow outside food and there is a few fast food options within walking distance. My friend's and I have already determined we are going to put this in our regular rotation of hang out spots!

I'm kicking myself for taking so long to go back to Vallenson's. This was my second visit. My first was a few years ago before they expanded their taproom. I think that may have been one reason why I didn't stop by more, prior to the expansion. The inside was small and the majority of the property was outdoors. With this new taproom, it's very large! There's cool murals on the walls, tons of seating, an awesome playlist, multiple TVs to watch sports, and super cool bartenders. The outside is more fenced in, but they have tons of picnic tables. The patio is dog friendly and the brewery is family friendly. There were lots of kids playing outside and they all seemed to be well behaved (thank goodness)! I can't remember which beers I sampled, but I ended up getting the Christmas Ale. I was surprised they still had a Christmas Ale at the end of January, so I had to take advantage. The bartender told me they were almost out. It was really good and had a lot of flavor. I chatted with one of the bartenders and he explained that they had to pivot during the pandemic. They offered to go orders as well as food to comply with the 51% TABC rule. I'm so glad they've been able to survive since they are the only brewery left in Pearland. They did have a food truck parked out front. The owner of the food truck brought around little slips of paper with the menu QR code. I believe they text you when your order is ready. You can bring outside food if you would like. I remember on my first visit, lots of people walked to the Wendy's next door and brought over food. This is such a cool place to hang, grab a beer, and enjoy the company of friends and family. I will definitely be frequenting this place more often because 1. It's awesome, 2. It's in my hood, and 3. We need to continue to support small local businesses!

What a great place to hang after enjoying a delicious burger! The service was great. Bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed their Peanut Butter Blonde Ale that wasn't at all sweet and had a nice smell and hinted taste of peanut butter. It was light and refreshing, not at all heavy. Clean bathrooms. Clean establishment overall. We sat at the perfect spot, a table inside that was just on the edge of the patio. We had the warmth of the indoors but the cool breeze and sunshine of the outside. It was perfect. The patio is very spacious and a great place to get some fresh air and/or to let your kids and/or dogs run around and play. Well maybe your kids, probably best to have the dogs sit/stay. I look forward to returning.

Great outdoor bar that kinda feels like sipping craft brews on the farm. Their selection is varied and original - I really appreciate it being more than just a bunch of IPAs. Some top beers here for us have been the St Patty's Stout, which tastes like chocolate not mint; the Tropical Sour which tastes like a green apple jolly rancher; the Dilly, a fun pickle beer. Lots of space for kids to run around and play if you need to keep your kids busy while you have a night out. One note, they have a permanent food truck called Texasiana they don't really mention on their website or other media very well, so you can't bring outside food in at all, and if you're hungry it's worth looking up their kinda Cajun style menu.

We LOVED this brewery! Very open inside with a lot of outdoor space as well. Very kid friendly so just go in expecting a lot of kids - there were when we went. The beer selection is VERY impressive and we didn't find anything that we didn't like. We particularly enjoyed the Amberzon Imperial Amber, Peanut Butter Blonde and Irish Red. The food truck provided delicious seafood inspired dishes! The owners are very nice & down to Earth and the staff were SO friendly & helpful!

Really cool neighborhood nanobrewery with lots of outdoor seating! Open Thursday - Sunday. Beer: Really flavorful with excellent stouts and sours. Enjoyed the doppelbock and their prize-winning stout. Good prices between $5-$7 in general for a pint. Ambiance: Interior is a bit dark with a game playing but the outdoors is lovely on a nice day with a large lot of lawn and lots of picnic blankets. Kiddos/Doggos: Kid friendly and dog friendly! People brought picnic blankets for the kids to hang out on, and kids were playing ball and running around. Very family friendly! There are a lot of dogs here (all on leashes) but if your puppers is shy around other dogs keep that in mind. Parking: Private lot in front of the brewery. If it gets full there's another lot next door that we parked without any problem.

Loved this local brewery! My husband and I went with another couple on a Friday night and had a blast here. A few of us ordered a beer flight and they had drink specials where you could pay for a glass and get beer the rest of the night at a discount. There was live music and the environment was family friendly. There were kids and dogs around. We didn't bring either but enjoyed the atmosphere there. The owner came and talked to our table and gave us some background on the brewery history. We will be back!

Wow, I was so impressed with this Brewery. They have inside seating & outside if you want to enjoy the nice breeze. They have an outside patio where you can bring your kids & pets. It's a lot of space for them to run around while you're enjoying your beers. I decided to order one of their IPA's, I got the HAAS west coast IPA & I ordered the Tangerine sour. I was expecting for the HAAS to be stronger far as the percentage but it was only 7 percent. It still had that IPA taste though. The tangerine sour had a unique sharp acidic taste to it. Visually it looks like a mimosa but it taste way better. If you're a fan of sour beer then this drink is for you. Overall, great beers & the bartenders were so cool & helpful. I also thought the drinks are at a reasonable price, $6 for a tangerine sour is cheap to me. They don't have food at the brewery but their is a food truck outside & you can place an order through a QR code. Once it's ready you can pick it up from the truck. Will I come back? Heck yeah.

It's an amazing brewery with a variety of great tasting beers, fun atmosphere and a fantastic staff. We frequent Vallenson's regularly and are so grateful to have such an awesome brewery right here in Pearland.

Still love their beers but I have to admit, I don't love the look of the expansion. The interior is so dark and drab.

We stopped by for Trivia Night on a weekday and the parking lot was completely full. I ended up parking on the street a few minutes away by foot. Ambiance (3/5): Rob Ray's is a casual, no frills, open air taproom. Most of the seating is at picnic-style tables. After a while, I grabbed a chair to have some back support. There's also no A/C so I imagine it can get pretty toasty when it's hot outside. The walls are covered with flags of different colleges. I found my alma mater, the University of Michigan, which was pretty awesome! Service (4.5/5): You order at the bar. The service is friendly and even Rob Ray was there. He introduced himself and asked if it was my first time. There was a bit of a line at some points but it moved quickly. Food (N/A): While they don't serve food, they do allow you to bring food. There's a taco joint across the street and they have a menu at Rob Ray's. You can call in and pick up your order. Drinks (4/5): Now this is what we're here for! They have a nice selection of beers on tap and bottled beer. I'm all about the variety and trying new beers so that's what I did. Every single beer I tried was one I had never had before. They also have some seltzers. If you're looking for a deal, you can buy tokens at a flat rate. They also allow you to make donations with your purchase to firefighters, nurses, police officers, etc. which is a really nice touch. It makes giving back easy if you'd like to do so! Overall: While I wish they had A/C and the seating was a little more comfortable, I would definitely return to try out some more of their beers. Trivia was a good time too. They had prizes for first and second place. While my team didn't win, we fought valiantly until the end!

It's an easy place for all kinds of gatherings, especially ones with big groups and a thirsty penchant for beer. In a place like Webster where chains rule and suburban life is abundant, Saloon Door stands out as an excellent local option. It may not look like much from the outside and even the interior is minimal, but that somehow doesn't matter when groups of people are enjoying their brews together. They host all sorts of events and also allow for private use of dare venue space. Any first timer should absolutely indulge in a beer flight with some kind. The brewmasters are kind enough to let folks sample to their heart's content. Not everybody is beer savvy (#1) but they do a good job of recommending the right ones for any given palate. I appreciate their selection of stouts, ales, light brews, and IPAs. I have a fondness for their peanut butter milk stout, as well as dar dildo pickle gose. The tasty AF is also a good one, as is the lava imperial hot rock beer. The ladder has an ABV of 11%, so it is the most potent one in their lineup that I know of. Most breweries like this aren't always known for food, but there are some nice deals to be had here. Their taco Tuesday nights are popular since board games and happy hour beers are apparently a thing. The Friday deal for $15 inlcudes a burger, fries, and a beer would is very affordable in these times. Thursday nights they activate their projection screen and do a " a retro video game" night with plenty of multiplayer and beer specials. I always look forward to coming here. They have quite a respectable assortment of beers to choose from. They have light beers, malty beers, stouts, IPAs, and seasonal beers. I would suggest a flight if you want to try a few different things. I am not a big IPA guy, but Saloon Door has some that are pretty tasty. My favorites here at their stouts. They are heavy, but easy to sip on. Their stouts have flavor profiles that I love. My all time favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It is a peanut butter and chocolate milk stout. How can you go wrong with that flavor combination. It's like drinking a dessert. Some breweries name their beers with flavors but don't deliver on said flavor. Here, their beers are true to their names. Don't sleep on their other offering though! As far as food, they have rotating food trucks that you can order from. Back when Pearland was still a food desert with a bunch of chain restaurants sprinkled with a few mom and pop places. It was nice to have a new pizza option and support local. This location was their first location and since then, they have expanded quite a bit. For a traditional, non chain pizza, Center Court is the best pizza in Pearland. Now we have other styles around town, but that's neither here nor there. This location is not super spacious, but I've never seen it overflowing with people. They have bar that always seems to have regulars sitting there. They also have a small patio outside. Parking is plentiful. I have never dined in so I can't really speak on the customer service. There's been a few times where I had to wait a bit longer than expected, but I always come on their specials day. As long as I've been a customer, I have only ordered take out on Mondays here. They have one of the best Monday deals in town. Anything pizza on their menu is 12 bucks. It's a great way to beat those Monday blues. As far as pizza goes, I've had quite a few of their creations. My personal favorites are the Touchdown and Ninja Turtle. They have all your regular topping pizzas which are good, but they also have cool pizzas like chicken pesto pizza, honey BBQ, or Greek. What sets them over the top is this seasoning they put on the crust. It's basically an oregano based seasoning. It might throw you off at first glance if you don't know about it, but trust me, it's delicious. Their menu doesn't stop at pizza. They also have appetizers, pizza rolls, loaded fries and tots, pasta, salads, burgers and sandwiches, calzones and desserts. I highly recommend their pepperoni rolls. It's always a crowd pleaser at all gatherings. Their wings also should not be slept on. My favorite kind of wing is a breaded wing, and that is an option here. These things are big too and you will get full after having a few. They have a bunch of sauces and dry rubs flavors to choose from as well. Rolls, pizza and wings. That's what you must get here. For all the Pearland locals, if you haven't tried Center Court, do yourself a favor and check them out. I will be back!

The smoked wings come with sauce on the side as they kind of dont need the sauce . they were so good and fell off the bone. I also had some tots and chicken snitzel..not bad at all.. I was told the burger was good along with the spinach dip, which i didnt try... they did have a specialty drink menu The outdoor patio was nice because the weather was behaved, the inside is a good size as well. Tuesday night is trivia night also.

Horrible service. Food is fine. Ambiance is okay. Server was horrible though. We got seated…read moreimmediately but it took our server 15 minutes just to come out to take our drink orders. It took another 10 mins for 2 salads to come out and another 10 or so minutes for another meal to come out. Not only did she NEVER check up on us in the hour that we've just been sitting here and have a dead and annoyed attitude, she forgot an entire order! (Probably because she was half ignoring us taking our order and never came back.) I understand there were 2 of the same orders, but if she had just relayed an overview of the table's orders (standard practice in ALL restaurants) we wouldn't have come to this point. She would never let us say anything either as she would just plop the food back on the table and immediately leave to hide in the back without a word. Honestly the most frustrating service experience ever. As a service worker, I feel for getting tired after long days and such, but it comes to a point where if you cannot bring yourself to interact with customers properly, then there is no reason to show up and act like this. It only brings down the whole experience of the franchise. Please do better. PSA to any people reading this: Regardless of having a horrible experience, please do NOT stiff your servers. Be kind and leave a tip, your server will end up paying out of pocket if you stiff them. I might not have enjoyed the service, but always leave some sort of tip for them.
