They're wrapped in a sort of banana leaf, rather than corn husk, and well-seasoned and almost gelatinous. The tacos were obviously great, as well as an extremely generous-portioned sope. They had chicharrones and yucca as a special, which was reasonably priced and very good. Also, the beef soup is extremely flavorful, tender, and well-balanced. You can easily get a filling meal here for $10. Many times we came, the place was full, and mostly by Spanish-speaking patrons (always a very good sign). I drive 35 minutes to come here when I'm craving Mexican food, and everyone I've introduced to this place also comes back. I love this restaurant, and am very impressed with the food (and prices!). I told them that they next time they came to visit me, they had to stop on the way and bring food from here. It was awesome!
