We visited the location on Throckmorton in Ft Worth. This place was recommended by a sales person at a nearby store, and I'm so glad we took her recommendation! I've tried many things, but I always go back to the Asada El Capitán tacos. The buttery tortilla with the cheesy shell and the flavorful steak are truly a match made in heaven. The acidity of the pickled cabbage cuts through the flavors perfectly. Unfortunately, my most recent take-out order of the El Capitán was less than perfect. The tortilla was hard, the cheese was lacking, and most importantly, the steak was unseasoned and tough. In addition, they gave us 1 lime for 4 tacos. I haven't been in about two years and remember the fatty beef taco I had, so I hadn't visited again. Tonight, I will still say that the quality is so-so, but I had a friend suggest to put lime on the burrito. After I did that, I started to really enjoy my food. However, I still paid nearly $9 for a mostly rice burrito. It's sustanance so I'm not going to be too picky, but I would appreciate more meat to rice ratio. I'd pass on the breakfast tacos cause they're pretty basic- eggs and meat in a flour tortilla. So yes for sure tasty, but nothing that is gonna knock your socks off. The al pastor tacos here carries the 4-star rating from me. Nicely seasoned with great flavor, and the slaw adds a pleasant fresh crunch. Their tomatillo sauce is also tasty and not overly spicy. Sometimes the meat comes out a tiny bit dry, but that's easily overshadowed by the taste and sauce. The horchata here is also good, but probably a bit more sweet than others I've tasted elsewhere.
