I had to find a breakfast taco place walking distance from work and I found this place on Yelp, so I thought I've give them a try and I am glad I did. My biggest gripe about breakfast taco places in Dallas/Ft. Worth is that I haven't found that one place that makes breakfast tacos like they do down south. You really can't find that one where you can get a bean and chorizo breakfast taco, and if you do, it sucks. Anywho, this place offers breakfast tacos with any fillings you want, from egg, to bacon, to anything you want. Since they offer egg tacos, I added bean and chorizo and I have to say it was really good. Just one taco is all you need to feel full, because they load that taco. The salsa verde was so, so, it wasn't the best, but it was ok. Walking distance from work, I think I found my go-to breakfast taco place. read more

For fort worthians, salsa limon at the end of a night out means a great end to the night with friends and food. Salsa limon is a late night food staple. I haven't been in about two years and remember the fatty beef taco I had, so I hadn't visited again. Tonight, I will still say that the quality is so-so, but I had a friend suggest to put lime on the burrito. After I did that, I started to really enjoy my food. However, I still paid nearly $9 for a mostly rice burrito. It's sustanance so I'm not going to be too picky, but I would appreciate more meat to rice ratio. Seriously though, do yourself a favor and get an extra lime and squeeze it all over the outside of your burrito for a refreshing zing to every bite. Enjoy yelp friends. read more

Delicious and authentic tacos, salads, and best of all Molca bowl...so good! I've watched this place grow for many years. Used to eat lunch here since office was downtown. The green sauce is where it's at. They serve simple and authentic Mexican food with cabbage, not lettuce. Their salsas bring flavor and heat! Cool it down with a Jamaica juice, horchata, or now...full bar service. So good, I'm hungry now. read more

Lots of energy and probably lots of choices for meat eaters. But vegetarian food was less then desirable - there were no roasted veggies. It feels a little too authentic Mexican so salsa and guacamole we are used to wasn't there. The mens restroom was in a terrible shape and smelt bad and had stuff on the ground. Menu was a bit hard to follow. It felt from the looks like a Mexican version of chipotle but a little more noisy and less clean. If I could rate half star - I would give them 3.5 stars but help only allows full and given they are averaging 4 star, I went with 3 stars for this one. read more

First time here on recommendation from our Hotel concierge.. we liked it. Tacos asada, the citrus slaw was unique and a nice touch. I rarely eat flour tortillas unless it's for breakfast ( they also have a full breakfast menu but I wasn't in that mood) several salsas to choose from. We stopped through on a train ride, wanted good Mexican food. This is street tacos, but you have to ask and pay for cheeses, avocado etc extra. It was way too expensive for the tacos- too many onions (fresh, not sautéed) and the salsas were not good. We ordered a margarita each- both were WAY too sweet to drink. Think of a popsicle. With a straw. Very disappointed. Burrito was a good portion size, but all the yummy Mexican flavors were missing. I added an egg and bacon breakfast taco- it was scrambled egg in a tortilla with a strip of bacon. That was it. Sad to say we won't be back. read more

This restaurant is in a great location in downtown Fort Worth! We were in town for a conference at the Forth Worth Convention Center and it was a short walk away. The food was amazing! My wife and I both got tacos and guacamole and loved them both. The best asada I've had! Would most certainly recommend this place. read more

I ordered more than I could eat, definitely leftovers worthy. Another place that I will go to next time that I'm in Ft. Worth. Was a short walk from my hotel. I had the Breakfast Burrito (made to order) and a quesadilla (HUGE!). My only suggestion to future patrons.....bring a bottle opener, they sell soda in glass bottles, and didn't see a opener in the restaurant. read more

My wife and I got take out from here. We got some tacos and a burrito bowl. The food was good and filling. Jalponeo green sauce was just the right spice. Would've thought it was closed about an hour before it was stated on the website, because when you walk in all the chairs are up on the tables, dead silience and mopping the floor. I went here with my friend and the experience was so so overall. First, the location is in the right spot at downtown area. Ordered tacos al pastor but the order was messed up. Received pastor and carne, I think. And ordered cervezas but that was wrong too. So, attention to service is not good- at least, when I went there. The tacos themselves were okay. They are not made traditional with cilantro and onions only because they add cabbage. Probably the best part was the selection of salsa and which I had to ask where they were. I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner! I loved getting their breakfast taco with beans, eggs, and cheese taco with their green sauce. Must try their green sauce! Their tacos are filling and one always fills me up. One time I got 2 and was halfway in a food coma. A good kind of food coma! My husband and I have always enjoyed Salsa Limon! WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! After taking 2 or 3 bites I noticed a dark looking piece of meat. Since I ordered chicken I found it to be odd. After taking the meat out and looking closer IT WAS A ROACH!! YES A ROACH!!! I placed the roach in a napkin and handed it to the manager. The manager was not shocked or apologetic. I just don't get the appeal. I've been twice now, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both meals were mediocre at best. I don't recommend anything with potato or mushroom in it. Potato's are soggy/mushy and mushrooms are suspect. Inside is decorated very cute and instagramable. This is a place to grab a drink and maybe some chips and guac. Salsa Limon never ever disappoints. It's always SO GOOD. I haven't found a taco I enjoy more than their chorizo taco. Except maybe the pastor.. Or the asada. Barbacoa! Honey pepper mustard chicken!They're all amazing; served in a double layer of corn tortillas with pickled cabbage, white onion, and cilantro. I've heard that the tripe is fantastic but I haven't tried it yet. Next time. They also have burritos and bowls and quesadillas, but I prefer 2-3 tacos and a side of re-fried beans (best ever). Their salsas are all equally perfect, great chips, and they have house made horchata that's incredible (ask for it with rum and Kahlua for a festive cocktail). This newest location is so great. Right in downtown Fort Worth, plenty of parking nearby, a little patio for people watching, and a beautiful bar inside. Order a mimosa with fresh squeezed juice! Roasted pork with a pineapple core on top. The way God always intended tacos al pastor. Soft corn with melted jack cheese, delicious pork, and a ton of cabbage slaw. I dot it with habanero sauce and slather on the jalapeno. A perfect taco 10. I have found my golden fleece. Gets stupid busy at lunchtime, but they're open early and late, so I have brunch at 10am. Asked him how the new spicy margarita was and he looked at me completely annoyed and said "what do you mean I mean it's a spicy margarita" with complete attitude and a rude face like I put him out asking that. We came in from out of town - wasn't our first choice but another location wasn't able to honor or reservation. Our whole party was pleasantly surprised with the experience. The food was great, we mostly stuck to the breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos. You order at the counter and the service was pleasant. Came to this place for lunch. It definitely seems like a popular place for Mexican food and I can see why. My friend ordered the barbacoa burrito for me and a barbacoa taco for himself. My burrito was really good! And my friend said his taco was also delicious! We weren't sure if chips and salsa were complimentary so we asked a server about it. Chips and salsa are typically complimentary at the Mexican restaurants in So Cal, but here, it's $1.50 for chips. The lady server was kind enough to get us this. I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time. But some bites have a way of humbling you. This one did. I ordered the street tacos with barbacoa. Corn tortillas layered with melted cheese, another tortilla laid gently on top, then crowned with rich, slow-cooked meat. Simple ingredients, intentional hands. The first bite landed heavy -- comforting, soulful, and loud in all the right ways. These tacos slapped harder than Babe Ruth sending one out of the park. And the real kicker? The smile on her face as she watched me take that first bite -- the kind that says, "I told you so," without needing to say a word. She knew she was right. The service matched the food -- warm, polite, unhurried. That small-town kind of kindness where you're treated like you belong, even if it's your first time through the door. No rush, no attitude, just genuine care. Some places feed you. Others stay with you. Taqueria Temo does both. I'll be back.

The price is fair and good portion size. I got the 4 tacos and throughly enjoyed every bite of it. It's a pretty small restaurant, if you are looking for nice environment to have a conversation, you may be disappointed, but if you are looking for great food with decent price point, here is your place.

However, I am not a fan of the flauntas de pollo which are my usual go to at tex-mex places..but who really cares about flauntas when the pizole and tacos are so good lol. It's a small place with great music and good drinks! One thing to note is that service at the bar is way better than at the table.

The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
