We have been sampling a cheese enchilada with chili con carne and a chicken enchiladas with rice and beans on Fort Worth's Southside. The enchiladas, rice and beans here are the best so far. The rice was fluffy and the beans had some texture with whole beans it. Service was excellent. Nice Atmosphere too, not loud at all. read more

Sunday Breakfast Chilaquiles Mexicano can't get better than this! It's a great authentic restaurant with bright colors, painted walls, character, and excellent service from the staff. They do have a bar, but I didn't try any fun drinks this time. Loved walking in to see the tortillas coming out fresh and handmade! Salsa and chips was served quickly and I couldn't stop munching on them. Loved the pour salsa container filled with fresh salsa with medium heat. The chilaquiles with the red sauce had some nice heat! I also ordered some fresh corn tortillas of course and made some extra "tacos" out of my breakfast. All we got served were chips and water! Went last night to hear a good band Latin express. Music was wonderful service was horrific! After several attempts to order, the waitress finally told us they had ran out of a lot of food!. Couldn't even get a glass of water refilled! My family has been going here since before I was born and I absolutely love it. The sour cream sauce is amazing and the flavor hasn't changed at all over the years. Also it's the only place I have found that makes ground beef flautas. They have a homemade jalopeno carrot relish that is out of this world. I have eaten here on numerous occasions back in the day. My most recent experience was the Caldo de res. Oh it was so flavorful and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The beef was so tender. Comes with a side of rice which is also pretty good. The sour cream Chicken enchiladas is also really good. I also had the crispy beef tacos and cant complain about those. Chips and salsa is also really good. Chips taste like they make them fresh. Staff was attentive. Decent prices. Will definitely come back. read more

I came to Fiesta last night after discovering that Hemphill Restaurant was closed after five on Saturday. I was a pleasant surprise when we went in a were seated and able to order right away. The taco chips were great, the salsa dip was a bit to spicy for any of the three of us. Had to order cheese dip to smooth things out. That was good. We ordered three different meals and everyone seemed OK with what they got. I had beef burritos and ended up taking two home, with cheese. A good experience, waitress was nice. And it is so much better than that crap that some places spit out of their kitchens in California calling it "Tex Mex". Tex-mex, tex-mex, tex-mex This is a tex-mex restaurant, my hostess seated me and was my waitress to, which is not bad. I stop by to try their enchiladas but when I saw their menu almost tried the chimichanga. But I stay true to my carvings and ordered the enchiladas and ordered an extra sunny side up egg on top of my enchiladas which wasn't a problem. When my food was brought it wasn't that impressing, rolled beef enchiladas with my egg on top, rice and beans. For the price it's ok and the taste it's alright. But I will try it again for that chimichanga with queso sauce. read more

I do lunch here pretty regularly. It is one of the favorites for the guys at work and I. It is always a solid performer. I can say that I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always on the mark, even when I come in with a large group. It is truly family owned and operated and there is always a family member there keeping things running smoothly. The salsa is excellent and they are good about special orders. Went with a couple of friends to have lunch and we found it to be a very maso-menos experience. Food: The food was alright, but I have had better. Flavor was relatively bland and not that exciting. Food was prepared to order so no qualms there. Ambiance: During lunch, the atmosphere is relatively relaxed and casual. If I remember correctly, there was some nice Mexican music playing. Service: Our server couldn't speak English but understood some of what we were saying, so it was a little challenging. She was able to bring over a server who could when she didn't understand. We had spoken to the English speaking waitress about several coupons that we had and how we all were paying on separate tabs. The waitress said that wasn't a problem and went to double check with the manager who confirmed that. Later when we went to pay, the cashier refused to utilize the coupons and then the manager switched positions and supported her. Honestly, probably will never go back. No desire to go through the service hassle for mediocre food. I would rather go to Kroger and try to make my own Mexican food. read more

We had lunch there today and we should have got amazing service for the amount of tables that were in that restaurant.I will never step a foot in there again! My husband and I both love coming here on date night right before our movie! We've ordered before the fajita plate, sour cream enchiladas but what we both love the most is the chimichanga plate! The chips & salsa are great but we sure do miss the thin corn tortillas they used to serve that you could roll up and eat with butter. I've been coming here for over 30 years. A local Mexican restaurant with good food and people. After their short closure to attend to family, they are now at regular hours with the full menu. Lunch plates are good selection, good price. I have tried most of the menu, and they are known for margaritas. Recently had the large combination with tamales and remember to get the homemade praline at the end. One of the few places with a real relleno, grande size in a 1 or 2 option, meat or cheese filled. 2 was enough for another meal as take home as well. Tortilla chips great crispy and lighter than anything that would make a bag through a store but scoopable for some of the best tasty salsa in the area. Very generous salad for the taco, fresh and crisp as always desired, quantity enough to call as a side salad. Those with side guacamole is a small scoop, great for nibbling with the rest of the plates. First time I went to this place, I had shrimp enchiladas. The worst I've ever had. Gave it another chance for breakfast and the barbacoa was the worst I've had and ended up getting sick from it. I've only been for breakfast the three times we've been here. I will tell you its a top notch eatery. To me the star of this show is the home made corn tortillas. The Barbacoa is pure heaven on a plate. Cynthia says that the menudo is some of the best in Fort Worth and trust me she knows Mexican food. I eat here pretty regularly and the food is pretty good, but the service is awful! I thought maybe the first time i had bad service that the waiter was new, but nope its progressively gotten worse. Honestly, the last time i went there I took my parents and the place was relatively empty. I had to constantly keep repeating to the waitress what we ordered. It was really annoying. Other than the service the food is good. And the tortillas are awesome but you have to remind the waiter about 50 times to bring it out lol. read more

We've been dining here for many years and have never, ever had a bad meal. We always go at lunch so I can't swear about the dinner service buy I bet a shiny new quarter that it's just as good as the lunch is. The service is always good, the food is served quickly, the corn tortillas are HOMEMADE! I highly recommend their enchilada dinner. Fiesta's TexMex enchiladas (homemade tortilla with cheese and onions rolled inside then smothered in chili con carne) are the absolute benchmark for the dish and once you've had them, you'll be back for more... guaranteed.
