A Fullerton favorite! Salt and Pepper is a fantastic place for getting breakfast and watching some Sunday morning football. They have some of the largest tvs I've seen. Salt and Pepper has become a regular spot for my husband and me, thanks to my parents who introduced us--they're frequent visitors too. The staff is always friendly and attentive, especially when we sit in our usual single seats near the kitchen. They're great at keeping up with customers' needs, and there's a real sense of community here--lots of familiar faces, which says a lot about the place. We haven't checked out the other side with the TVs yet, but we definitely plan to once football season kicks off. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. Great local spot! read more

LOWERED STANDARDS We have been going here for years. This is used to be the go-to place, especially for breakfast. Lots of food options, big Tvs and nice upgrades, good drinks, etc. Either the reviews in the past couple of months are from people who permanently lost their taste buds during covid or spent a lot of time at the bar before reviewing. We all get it, restaurants can claim inflation as a reason/excuse to raise prices. But raising the prices, decreasing the quantity, and lowering the quality is a slap in the face to costumers. Pleasantly surprised is what I'd call this place. I needed to find a place to catch my Ducks game, and this place popped up as a "sports bar". Really? It looks like a converted Spires restaurant (and perhaps it was). I've been living in Fullerton since 2002, drive by it every time I fill up at the Shell or Chevron, and never once considered this dilapidated restaurant. Tuesday and Thursdays are Taco days. You can get a street taco for $1.99 each, or there's a 5 taco combo with alcohol. There's daily specials, happy hour specials (until 7 pm) and week day early bird dinners until 5:00 pm. Prices are decent, and there are plenty of tv's to choose from. The bar has the most but there are tvs located all over the restaurant, with some better viewing areas than others. I had the taco Thursday, a carne asada and chicken taco... street size tacos with plenty of meat, and you can add your own salsa and toppings. It's street style, so no gringo cheese and lettuce... it's cilantro, onions, salsa, and pickled vegs. I had 2 and some of their fried zucchini... so good! I totally forgot to take a photo, but let me say, it was satisfying, and Ill come back when I want to catch a game again. read more

Brought my grandpa here last weekend and he absolutely loved it. He said this place reminds him of a casino diner/ bar with all the TVs and lotto machines. He ordered bacon and eggs and I got a grilled cheese. I don't always feel like breakfast food, so I like when I am able to order off the entire menu at 8am. The grilled cheese was yummy, but the side of cole slaw tasted old. Maybe from the day before? I only picked at it. My grandpa really enjoyed his meal. The home-style potatoes were delicious. The service was friendly and I even got invited back by the staff to watch the Dodgers game that night, but I had plans. I'd love to catch a football game here and maybe try something else on the menu. There was a grilled chicken sandwich that sounded great. All servers wore masks, and the tables were very clean. I was so bummed when Huff's in Long Beach on Wardlow closed during Co-Vid. It had been there forever & it was a part of my family in one way or another. Their breakfast's & coffee...so good! Other favorites were Vegetable Beef Soup, the California Club Sandwich & their signature Broasted Chicken. Luckily there's a "sister ship" in Fullerton & that is The Salt & Pepper. The menu & recipes are pretty much the same so that helps ease the blow. There's plenty of seating & a wrap around counter that faces the kitchen as many old school coffee shops have. There's an outdoor covered patio & a large Sports Bar section featuring a full bar. There are TV's everywhere you look as well as a gigantic big screen TV. Service is very good, friendly & attentive. Portions are generous. I mentioned Broasted Chicken but sad to say the friendly manager informed me they now only offer fried chicken because the actual Broaster broke down & replacements are no where to be found! Is Broasted Chicken an endangered species? That's not good. There's lots of parking. it's not the best looking parking lot but don't let that discourage you. Unfortunately today we walked in to watch the Cowboys vs Giants game and as we sat down and asked one of the managers if we can have him play the game on one tv (considering they weren't playing it on any tv) he said they weren't changing the TV channels at the moment.. made absolutely no sense.. they have about 15 tvs we didn't understand why they couldn't change the channel on ONE TV. We walked out. & they've lost our business for good. So rude !!! read more

This place is actually really dirty and smelly and the staff is just ok with the vile putrid smell within the building the closer you get to the front the worse and worse the smell . My families been coming here over 30 years but the last 10 years or so the place as declined rapidly I took my mom and daughter there this passed Sunday only had one modelo. The glass smelled it tasted bad or flat rotten or moldy but that night I became severely sick non stop vomiting for 2 days straight. Staff is extremely rude and inconsiderate. They don't stay open according hours and will frequently change closing times if they feel like it. Called ahead to check when they would close and instead of giving an exact time, they said "Oh, 8:00 or 9:00?" and when I pressed for a more specific time, they just said it would "just depend". It's listed that they close at 10:00p, but they're closing two hours ahead of time. read more

Bruh. This place blew me away. From the look of the building's exterior-- you would think it'd be a dirty dive bar, it's not. The ambience is quite inviting, the staff, especially the bartender (I forgot her name) she was the sweetest and friendliest. Just one problem-- the chicken wings weren't that great. Tasted like freezer burn, so I wouldn't order that again next time. They have pizza there, which I did not see in the menus, but noticed pizza boxes and a few others ordering their freshly made pies. On the way home after downtown Fullerton bar hopping, got hungry but still want to drink more, this place is a 24/7 Diner with a full bar, the perfect stop for drunk food and more drinks! We ordered hot wings, omelette with hash browns and sunny side-up eggs with hash browns, side of sourdough bread with butter. Hubby had Stella on draft, I had Grey Goose dry martini. Food was very tasty and comforting, the wings were awesome, I loved my eggs and hash browns. The service was very fast and friendly for a local diner, I was impressed. Yesterday I came into the establishment to sit at the bar and was told by a waitress that I couldn't sit at the bar unless I was ordering something. I said well is there a sign that says I can't sit at the bar and not order anything ? She said no, then she proceeds to say well you can stay to finish your water. Minding you I only had been there for ten minutes. I felt extremely discriminated seeing that I was the only black women and I will not be returning.
