I was looking for a trusted place to try out sugaring. I stumbled upon Salt & Rind on yelp. I was a little skeptical about sugaring over waxing (since I was familiar and comfortable with waxing). However, Kim (the owner) was prompt at responding to all my questions and ensured that I was comfortable with trying out the new hair removal sugaring technique. Booking an appointment with Kim was easy and quick. The facility was clean and decorated well. Kim offered some water and healthy drinks while I waited for my appointment. The wait time was almost negligible. Kim explained the process of sugaring and was very gentle throughout the process. It was less painful compared to waxing and the results were a lot better overall. Sugaring also helped in the removal of dead skin cells and the sugar ball was lukewarm (in contrast to hot wax). She sent me a message giving very specific directions on how to locate the salon and sent me an email reservation within minutes Luckily for me, it's walking distance!
