This Salt & Straw location in Bellevue is relatively new. Since we were in the area and wanted a sweet treat to cool off with, we stopped by for some ice cream! When we first arrived, there wasn't too many people in front of us. I love that you are able to try as many samples as you want before committing to a flavor. We tried a bunch of different flavors before settling on our choices. I got a double scoop in a waffle cone of Honey Lavender and Birthday Cake & Raspberries. We underestimated how big a double scoop was. The three of us were definitely satisfied after finishing each of our cones.

Salt & Straw has been one of my favorites since my Portland days! It was actually the first ice cream place I tried when I moved to Portland back in 2016, and I've been a fan ever since. Recently, I've been going to their Bellevue location, and I'm happy to say it maintains the same quality. My personal favorites are the Double Fold Vanilla and Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons. So good! One tip: if you already know your flavors, you can order from your phone and skip the long queues during rush hours. Definitely comes in handy because this place can get really busy!

Ice cream is always a summer essential, especially when dealing with hot weather! I was so happy to check out this nice location in Bellevue. There were a lot of great seasonal items to choose from, and I went with the wild-foraged berry slab pie, which was really good. As part of the Yelp experience, we were able to get a scoop in a cone or a cup. Great service and they work FAST given there were 8 other people in line. Definitely make sure to ask for the samples if you come here, since they are unlimited! This place has always been a classic go-to spot for me, and I will definitely be coming back whenever they drop new flavors and seasonal items.

My fiancé and I stopped by today for a little ice cream date and had such a great experience! We arrived close to noon on a Sunday, and it wasn't busy at all. Parking was definitely the hardest part. We ended up parking near Safeway and walking over, which wasn't bad. I ordered a Cinnamon Snickerdoodle scoop, and it was so good! The cookie pieces throughout made every bite even better. My fiancé got the Hazelnut Cookies & Cream, and he really enjoyed it too. By the end, though, it was a little too sweet for him to finish, and that's saying something because he has quite the sweet tooth! After trying just one sample each, we immediately knew what we wanted to order so we will definitely have to come back because there were so many unique flavors we didn't get to try. Some of the limited edition flavors were so creative. Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie sounded delicious, and I was especially intrigued by the Gruyère & Tomato Custard Tart. I wish I had asked for a sample because that has to be one of the most interesting ice cream flavors I've ever seen! The shop itself was large, spacious, and very clean. The employees were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they also had some fun goodies available for purchase. There isn't any seating inside, but there are a few benches outside if you'd like to enjoy your ice cream there. I do love the location as it's a short walk from Bellevue Square and Bellevue Downtown Park, making it the perfect place to grab a scoop and take a stroll around the park on a hot summer day. Such a great experience overall and the perfect spot for a little ice cream date. Looking forward to coming back and trying even more flavors!

We visited Salt & Straw yesterday, and the quality of the ice cream truly stands out. I ordered a mix of two flavors--the birthday cake and the blackberry marionberry goat cheese. Both were excellent, offering complex, well-crafted profiles that weren't overly sweet. The waffle bowl was also a highlight; it was noticeably fresh and paired perfectly with the scoops. While it is a bit on the pricier side, the high-quality ingredients and distinct flavors make it well worth the cost. Highly recommend if you are looking for premium ice cream. Bonus is the Bellevue Park across the street

Salt & Straw is always a crowd favorite! We dropped by to try out The Chef Series! For the month of June, their limited flavors are curated by chefs from all over the country. Super fun! We got a split scoop of the Cheesecake with Salted Yuzu Curd and the Jasmine Milk Tea Stracciatella which was a last chance scoop. Soooo delish! We were told that the Cheesecake with Salted Yuzu Curd was inspired by Japanese souffle cheesecakes. We could also really taste the milk tea flavor in the Jasmine Milk Tea Stracciatella. Truly top tier picks this time!

The place does not have parking per se but managed to find one nearby. The ice cream are pretty good, and liked the flavors! The staff were so nice for us to try different flavors. The place was packed but lined moved quickly.

Yay we have yet another Salt & Straw to enjoy, this time in downtown Bellevue! One of my foodie friends was craving ice cream after eating in Factoria so we got here around 8pm to a decently long line that thankfully didn't stretch outside on this slightly cold day. As with other locations, there's only bench and wall seating near the front entrance, and standing tables that denote where the line begins and ends. Staff at the front let you try samples of any flavor that is on their menu. I already got to eat all their limited flavors at least once (for the May 2026 season) so I had samples of the cinnamon snickerdoodle, strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper, and the honey lavender flavors. I eventually settled for the last of the three. Their take on honey lavender reminds me of a London fog. No, lavender is not always associated with London fogs but this ice cream somehow reminded me of one anyway! Lavender taste is powerful in this single scoop, and the ice cream itself has a smooth consistency that has been consistently throughout other locations of this chain I have tried. My foodie friends telepathically both got the coffee and love nuts, probably because I recommended it from a past visit here through a Yelp Elite event. It's just ice cream but honestly I'm always down for sweets! I would come back again once they have their new flavors rolling out.

I got to check out this Salt & Straw on opening week and really enjoyed my visit here. The store is located across from Bellevue Park and is visible from the street. I got scoops of a few of their limited edition flavors as well as grabbed The Tacolate - an homage to the chocotaco, which was SO good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful with explaining the flavors and I was appreciative that they were patient and generous with samples too.

What a perfect spot to grab ice cream after shopping at the mall or enjoying the park across the way! The freckled mint chip was delicious! I didn't even realize until writing this that it's vegan. Fooled me! Perfectly creamy and the perfect balance of mint and chocolate. The staff were some of the best I've seen! We saw one server helping a group of 8+ with a smile on her face as if it was no sweat. Shout out to Cas! She was crushing it. Everyone was just so friendly and welcoming. Miraz helped us checkout and was a delight. The space has limited space and no seating, so best to get your ice cream to-go in a waffle cone!

Yay!!! Finally open in Bellevue. Parking: you can park in the Safeway parking area or diagonal from it, Macy parking lot. When I got there, it was pretty quiet. Restroom: one gender neutral restroom, code required. They have their new May Monthly Flavour, woohoo. So I got these for my flight: Jasmine milk tea almond (monthly special) Strawberry tree lesches (monthly special) Chocolate Bakba (last chances scoop) Hazelnut cookie & Cream (V) Also sampe other ones too. Wish they have the Guava one , saw it online. Apparently they only have it in Florida. The gal that served me was super sweet, very knowledgeable of the ice creams flavours. Definitely will be back.

Salt & Straw just opened in downtown Bellevue, taking over the former Starbucks pickup-only location across from South Lincoln Square and Bellevue Downtown Park. Parking: No dedicated parking--use South Lincoln Square or Safeway nearby. It is walkable from various nearby attractions. I attended the pre-grand opening event, and as expected, there was a long line (about 1.5 hours). That said, the staff kept things moving once you reached the front. Everyone was cheerful, welcoming, and efficient. I ordered a flight: Jasmine Milk Tea Stracciatella, Strawberry Tres Leches, Saffron Milk w/ Wildflower Honey, and Pistachio Ricotta Cannoli. The first three were creamy and flavorful--my favorites. The saffron flavor wasn't for me personally, but still worth trying if you like more floral notes. Bonus: My flight was prepared by Tyler Malek The vibe was lively throughout--lots of excitement, friendly staff, and plenty of happy faces (especially kids getting their ice cream). Overall: Great addition to downtown Bellevue. Expect crowds, but worth checking out--especially for unique flavors. TL;DR: Long wait (~1.5 hrs) during the pre-opening event, but friendly staff and unique flavors made it worth it. Great new downtown Bellevue spot--just plan for crowds and finding nearby parking. Walkable from various attractions.

Salt and Straw is now scooping in Bellevue! Stopped by for their pre-opening and the line was wrapped around the building! They have some great innovative flavors and their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about all the flavors. Got a scoop of strawberry tres leches and saffron milk w wildflower honey in a waffle cone.

So to beat the sun on its heat game, my picnic friends and I came here, sampled some flavors in the relatively dark and dull interior, and picked what we wanted while we were still somewhat full from our picnic food. I got myself a single scoop of their honey lavender ice cream. It's a slightly-larger-than-average scoop for about $6 before tax, but was still satisfying to have on such a hot day. Lavender is strong on this one, and the honey taste made this sweeter but not by much and not in an overpowering way. It's like they both met in harmony or something, or that the interior of this location also had nearly the same aroma as the honey lavender itself.
