Right in the heart of Newcastle, it felt like a true neighborhood gem. The owner, Jen, is an absolute dream, and her staff reflected that same warmth and care. Every visit felt welcoming, thoughtful, and special. This place will be greatly missed, and I'm so grateful for the many wonderful meals I had here over the years. The burrata was always outstanding, no matter the season or preparation -- somehow familiar yet always fresh and creative. From comforting pot pies and rich lasagnas to classic meat-and-potato dishes and beautifully executed cuisine, everything that came out of the kitchen was mouthwatering and made with intention. While it's hard to say goodbye, I'm thankful that Jen still has Brimmer & Heeltap in Seattle, where her talent and vision continue to shine. A truly special place, run by truly special people.

I've also eaten there a few times for breakfast and was equally impressed. Sadly, we've heard they may be closing, which would be such a huge loss for the neighborhood.

Everything has that deep, smoky, grilled taste that makes each bite so satisfying. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. I tried a variety of dishes, and nothing missed, but the mixed grill plate was the highlight for me. It's the perfect option if you want to sample different meats, and every piece was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The space itself is beautiful--very open, clean, and inviting. The music adds to the experience, giving it a great atmosphere without being overwhelming. There's also plenty of parking, which makes visiting super easy

It was basically cheap minced beef wrapped around kebab skewers. I couldn't finish it, and my stomach isn't feeling great tonight. The service was awful. They basically dropped the food at our table, and no one checked on us to see if we needed anything until it was time to pay. The ladies' restroom was flooded with toilet water, which tells me a lot about their hygiene standards. I had a good experience here a couple of years ago, but I would never eat here again or recommend this place to my friends.

Ah, 2021 was such a year when I first went here. Everyone was looking for an excuse to go outside…read morebecause of the quarantines but it was hot and sunny back then, and this place filled up my friends' IG stories back when we wanted to walk around Gene Coulon Park where this place is located not too far from. Parking around the streets touching here and the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport is not advisable since it's very limited. There is a paid parking garage near the Hyatt you can use, or you can use the nearby Coulon Park parking lot and walk over here like I did. There's no seating inside here; instead there's tons of treats, merch, tea bags, gummies and other products on tables and shelves filling up the right-hand side of the interior. There's also a grassy background where you can take photo ops of yourself and/or your drinks. Up at the front counter to the left-hand side of the entrance are two kiosks you can use to punch in the drinks you want. The menu is also up behind the counter as well. For this visit, I got their tiramisu milk tea with boba. The tiramisu foam ayer was large enough that when I stirred the whole drink in, I could taste the tiramisu's slight coffee-like, earthy hints throughout. The milk tea itself is very strong as I could taste the bitter undertones of the tea easily after just one sip. Also love how they put their drinks in a plastic container shaped like a can! As for their boba, I actually don't mind them being much smaller than many other boba places. They're both small and very chewable, and still look very good sinking to the bottom of the drink in case a photo op is needed. Regular size boba would take up too much space inside the can anyway. Overall drink was a tad too sweet though. This is one of the few places that come to mind for me when someone asks me what boba places there are around the Renton area, as I've gotten great drinks here for every visit since 2021. I'd love to come back again and try their other drinks when I'm around the area!

Based on the name, one may think that you must create your own drink from scratch, but that is not…read morethe case. In fact, this place actually has a large number of featured drinks and a well-rounded menu. They allow customers to create a DIY Custom Fruit Tea or DIY Custom Lemonade, but those were the only true DIY items I saw. + MANGO MATCHA FRESH MILK ($6.25 + $0.75 boba): Most of the time, I will order a signature drink or one that is labeled "recommended" on the menu. While this one doesn't fall under either category, I still decided to try it and am so glad I did! I customized it with zero sugar and less ice. The mango sauce drizzled on the sides of the cup added the perfect sweetness and tasted like the natural ripe fruit. After stirring it all up, the matcha was somewhat masked, but the drink was delicious, reminding me of a mango ice cream. The boba was cooked perfectly and had the ideal bounce. + WHITE PEACH OOLONG FRESH MILK ($6.25): I've read different opinions about this drink, but I personally enjoyed it! At 25% sweetness and light ice, I found this refreshing and reminiscent of peaches and cream. Neither the oolong nor the peach flavors were super prominent, but I was able to detect the slight bitterness of the tea and the subtle notes of peach. The drink just seemed heavy-handed with the milk, so it could have been more balanced. My companion ordered the LYCHEE FRUIT GREEN TEA. The menu states this includes lychee syrup and lychee fruit which we interpreted to mean lychee bits, but it turned out to be two whole lychees. She ordered it at zero sweetness, but she said 25% would probably have been ideal since the boba itself is unsweetened. Pricing is reasonable and on par with other boba shops. During both of my visits here, the cashier was friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks. For example, we asked what was in Harmony's Lava Lamp and she was able to recall all the ingredients on the spot. Once we ordered, our drinks were prepared quickly and we were on our way. If you're seeking a snack with your tea, they have both sweet and salty options including Spam musubis, mochi donuts, chicken karaage, bubble waffles and more. I'd return again the next time I'm in the area!

Didn't come with fresh mango like in the photo, but the frozen mango chunks were kind of hard to chew. I also didn't love the texture with the blended ice and the sago -- crunchy and chewy at the same time. Couldn't taste any coconut either. My friends got some macarons, and they said they tasted almost contaminated like with some cleaning agent. Maybe we didn't order the right things, but I feel like there are better places for boba tea at seven dollars per drink!
